Got mine Sapphire Vapour-x 280x today, works 760khash without too much hassle. 1080/1500 1,13v @ 68 C, fan 68%. Also VRM is at 88 C and 84 C wich i like, the 7970 could easily go above 100 C. I really like the back plate on the GPU, dont know if 7970 vapour-x also had one tho.    Hey bro. what's the power consumption of 1 280X card? |

Also use your router just set a permanent lease (That's what I did) thus no change needed on OS but IP never changes :-)
if your have many rigs, it will get you mad.. .haha. it is good idea for little rigs. |

Everyone have been talking about AMD R9 290x, 290, 280x. Did you guys forget about R9 270x? Tried really hard to look for some info about it but found nothing on the internet.  We didn't forget, there's plenty of info. It's like this: -R9 290x and 290 are the ones that are new gpus. -R9 280X is a 7970 GE -R7 270X is a 7870 Pitcairn card or maybe Tahiti LE, so not so good I think you got me wrong, I'm actually asking about the hash rate for R9 270x compare to HD 7870 or HD 7950. If its worth buying to hash Scrypt coins.. Well, 7870 sucks for mining...you should wait for either an r9 280 non x (cheap 7950) or get used 7950s, or get an r9 290 if it's good. yes. i'd think 280 will be the best choice. with unlocked votage. |

I have both of my BAMT rigs set to static IP's, but I didnt use SSH to do it (although those instructions should work, I instead hooked it up to a monitor and set it that way. Its the one thing I do through the GUI, everything else I command line. I would recommend doing it that way.
thanks very much. plug a monitor that way, it is working. but if you manager over 50 or 100 or 200 rigs. it is more complicated. any easier way to set the bamt to static ip? Best. |

Run "lspci -tv" to see what cards are installed and recognized by your system. Typically your GPUs are recognized in order of how they are physically installed: your first (usually top) GPU will be #0, your middle one will be #1, and your last (usually bottom) one will be #2.
it reconized 3 gpu. i need know whch physical card is gpu 0, gpu 1, gpu2. i have 3 card, but i don't know which card is GPU 0, gpu 1, gpu 2.
how to define which card is GPU 0, gpu 1, gpu 2.? i am using bamt. (linux)

you could try undervolting your cards
using the 0.96 bois? i do not know if it is stable or not. any other way? |

how to cool the GPU's temp? msi R7950 use for litecoin.
First, i try to get the 'i' and 'GPU engine' donw, but the temp still go to 90 degree.
anyone can help me improve the cgminer conf?
