41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / How to convert my stocks money into bitcoins? on: December 19, 2017, 07:36:33 PM
Hi,

I have an issue. Basically I have some money on my company's stocks. I want to buy bitcoins with these but the issue is the 2 exchanges I asked (coinsquare and kraken) told me the bank account doing the wire has to match my name. They don't accept brokerage accounts, etc. I don't understand why they care who wires the money as long as it's money.

If I wire this to my bank account first and then to the exchange, it will trigger all kinds of warnings to the government.

Is there a way to have my stocks money wired to an exchange where I can buy bitcoins?

It's been frustrating.

Thanks in advance.

What are you guys looking at etherdelta? Is it an exchange? I don't see any announcements?
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find about upcoming coins? on: December 18, 2017, 06:21:18 AM
It is easy to do so, but sometimes it might be a difficult task because you are going to be paying attention to the whole project, the team, the whitepaper, the community, and a lot of things.

Dont guide yourself only on the return and how much profit you can take, because you will lose everything on a bad decision.

Not just return but I wanna invest in coins I think are sound. Also investing a small amount, not everything.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How to find about upcoming coins? on: December 18, 2017, 04:39:54 AM
Hi,

Basically coins that are already in development, not necessarily ICOs. Would it be too late to wait for them to be listed on popular exchanges like Bittrex?

I just want to have a single source just like coinmarketcal where can I read about upcoming coins so I can read about the concept behind them, etc. So I can decide if they could get big and/or with some discussions, etc.

Otherwise when people mention a coin, it's always already way too big. Not too late but not as early as one could get 100x return vs 10x for one year for example.

Thanks in advance.

Posted today by Trading Crypto Coach at exactly 3000 as you can see from the top of the candle and right away a massive dump happened

Expose these scammers. Report their channels to be shut down.

Yes we should warm people about these scammers.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammer trading advice telegram channels [BEWARE] on: December 12, 2017, 07:42:02 PM
No problem, I just want to aware people of these scammers.

Many times they post fake earnings, by taking the min and max of the coin outside the range of the posting to lure newcomers into gaining their trust so that they will do when they ask people on their channel.

I have seen many occurrences of this so wanted to post this at last.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Scammer trading advice telegram channels [BEWARE] on: December 12, 2017, 07:07:27 PM
Hi,

There are a lot of telegram channels giving people advice on what to buy sell short and long term but most of these channels are owned by the same few scammers.

The channel names are:
Crypto Experts Signal
Crypto Trends Analysis
Crypto Queen Signal
Signal Expert
Trading Crypto Guide
Trading Crypto Coach

They get paid to shill ICOs and shitcoins, as well as pump coins and let other people hold bags.

I uploaded some screenshots from this morning where they all post the same BS pre-pumped coin which started going down as soon as it was posted on their channels. See how they are all copy paste of each other:

First coin was XMG, the other one was BYC, both of which was dumped really hard.

They even lie how when they posted it was 3000, but as soon as they posted the link the price was at the highest which was 3750 for XMG and ~12155 for BYC.

Post your opinions here so people would find this thread while googling these scammers. They will steal your money. Most are even shilling their BS "premium" channels. Do not fall for their scams.

Hi which version and website is the right one? There is cryptobot that has a completely different UI and also I see a very different UI here (very recent video): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PSqUC-L3ek&feature=youtu.be

Also there are CORE, XT, etc? Which app is the right app to use for trading? I couldn't find any info for this.

Also I see some people saying they run the bot on 100s of coins. Do they manually add these pairs or does the bot have the ability to auto find coins to buy sell based on some algorithm?

Thanks in advance,

52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Is it smart to max out all credit cards months to buy BTC? on: December 02, 2017, 06:19:26 AM
Hi,

Just to use all the money in your credit cards to buy some BTC and then before the grace period pay them back and repeat. If I am not wrong, this should give you a very nice profit say for a total amount of $20k between 7-8 credit cards plus good credit and all the cachback and points each CC have.

Is this smart?

Anyone does this?

And more important which exchanges allow you to use credit cards? Or is it better to buy using paypal and fund it via the CCs?

Thanks in advance.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Where to find coins like Abjcoin? on: November 26, 2017, 09:20:37 PM
Hi,

It's not available on bittrex. Now this coin looks shady but if you look at the volume and market cap it's not so bad no? You could easily make good profit and then dump in a few hours or a day at max? It increased 15x in 1 day.

I don't know if I am missing something else?

Which exchanges trade coins like these?

Thanks in advance.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / How to do large wire transfer? on: November 22, 2017, 06:54:54 PM
Hi,

I opened a new account so it's 2 weeks old now because my actual bank didn't have wire transfer. My goal is to put more money on exchange website. But the bank is giving problems saying I have to wait a week, etc which could be another BS.

Right now I see many opportunities to make more money in crypto but these stupid daily limits are ridiculous. I am in Canada btw.

What's the best way to work around these? I really despise banks and their shady operations.

Thanks in advance.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Best free and paid bots for Bittrex? on: November 17, 2017, 09:06:17 PM
Hi,

I see there are so many of them out there. Anyone knows which ones are best as paid and free? I don't know how sophisticated these apps are out there so would like to ask for opinions here.

Thanks in advance.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it smart to day trade BTC? on: November 17, 2017, 06:52:18 PM
Thanks guys, I understand. It's not easy and anything can happen. My idea was based on there is many small ups and downs a day but not many huge ups and downs relatively.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Is it smart to day trade BTC? on: November 17, 2017, 06:12:38 PM
Hi,

Basically instead of only waiting for big dips to buy and highs to sell, I am talking about selling at regular high and buy it when it dips $100 lower for example many times a day.

Say you have 10 BTC, this should give you $1000 minus the fees no? So doing it many times through the day you might add a new BTC to your wealth?

Is this reasonable or is there something I am missing?

Thanks in advance.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How would you portion $100K in various crypto? on: November 16, 2017, 01:58:07 PM
Hi,

If you have $100K, which crypto would you spend it on? I have thought of this scheme where I set up 3 classes (categories).

Class 1: Safe prime coins
Class 2: Popular alt coins
Class 3: Risky/shady alt coins

Most investment goes to Class 1, i.e. 70K, 25K to Class 2, and the remaining 5K to Class 3.

So a few prime coins like BTC, ETH gets the most money. In Class 2, you might have a single coin you invest several thousands, but in Class 3, you spend $5K on 10-15 coins as they might crash or explode.

Is this a sensible idea? How would you portion 100K on various coins?

What's your own portfolio like? I assume there is no issue sharing this info.

Thanks in advance.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it smart to keep all or almost all savings in prime cryptos like BTC, ETH? on: November 15, 2017, 09:34:25 AM
I think you are fine with saving bitcoin and ethereum, but why you dont think you should invest a small percentage of money into some altcoins like bch or dash and waves, these altcoins are rising so they can bring you many profit if you diverse your coins.

I want to do that too using a fraction of my prime cyptos, i.e. 10-20%.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it smart to keep all or almost all savings in prime cryptos like BTC, ETH? on: November 14, 2017, 11:49:35 PM
Yes but BTC has 160+ billion backing. This is not a joke money so I don't think it will go away. That's why I said it seems better than to keep in bank. Also it seems like there is a huge divide here among opinions.
