Hi guys,
Have we need to update our miners to the 1 jan ETH fork?

I have two VEGA-64 cards that can 't work on such high settings. Settings of these cards: GPU 1032 Mhz 905 mV. Memory: 1020 Mhz, 905 mV. Consumes 170W GPU power. 0,97 g/s
With 1032 mhz core you can go much lower in voltage. This way its inbalanced because -The very low core loweres performance - The voltage needs to be high because mem clock is high - The high voltage causes too high consumption Rather go to 1200 / 920 / 835mV ... that should be (0.9.4) slightly over 1.1g/s at much lower consumption. In mmpos chanel I saw one guy running 6x V64 on 1120 / 920 / 760mv (! Not all cards will alloe that). He had 6.3 g/s on all cards and 920W at wall (6card + cpu + mobo + ram...) Thanks for answer, Cant u do in next releases the background windows function ? Thanks
Can try, sure But before need to solve the miracle how to port the 0.9.4 speed improvement to Windows :/ hehe thanks

hi its possible to run in background lolminer with some parameter in json file?
Not yet - well on Linux you can just append & on the cmd to run it completely in background. Memory: Frequency - 1100Mhz, 905 mV. GPU: P5 1212 Mhz, 1100mV. P6 1307Mhz, 905 mV. P7 1472 Mhz, 925 mV. Radeon 19.12.1. CPU Intel i3-4170 teamredminer-v0.6.1 - work. lolMiner-0.9.3 don't work. "Stuck device detected, invoking emergency script."
Lifting my virtual hat then for trm (I like the guys anyways - they are great and made a great product!). I must admit I did not try that high memclk - afaik only Samsung mem allows to clock that high and also that often requite quite high core voltage. I tested - and optimized - the miner more for more watts saving clocks like 1280 / 1000 which runs often with voltages low as 825mV (some cards may need 850 or 862 ...). At least on Linux, 19.30 the 0.9.4 miner then still mines at ~1.15 g/s (rocm 1.2 when you got no risers) but also power draw is <160W then (chip reported even <125, but always need to add some for board and memory). With P7 at 1470 / 1100 I am sure you can not end up below 230? (more a guess ^^) Thanks for answer, Cant u do in next releases the background windows function ? Thanks

Have we to specify the -wd parameter to enable wacthdog in config file or are enable by default? I had a simillar stalling with one of my GPUs it turned out that the stalling GPU wasn't able to keep up with the low voltage that i put. Can I ask you if those cards are VEGAS and what are your settings both in the miner and the AMD panel and drivers please. Thank you in advance. Hi, I use the win10-64bit-radeon-software-adrenalin-edition-18.6.1-june13. Win 10 64 bit 1703 version. Seems stable now, maybe was i use vnc remote for seing the rig. I use ODNT like this: Gpu 1009@875mv Mem 1050@900mv for 8 vega 64 All the system consume 1900 watts. Have you corrected your problem increase the low voltage for gpu or mem? Shouldn´t miner restart himself when see this problem? or we have to wait some time? Best luck for you

Hi,
Any parameter that we can add to run a startup script?
I´m not finding anything in readme,
Thanks
Press WIN+R and type shell:startup then paste a shortcut to the claymore batch file there to run on windows startup. Add this line to the beginning of the .bat file to delay initialization by 30 seconds: msg/time:15 /w * "Delay of 30 seconds. Waiting for windows to start ..." For example: msg/time:15 /w * "Delay of 30 seconds. Waiting for windows to start ..." EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal 0xD69af2A796A737A103F12d2f0BCC563a13900E6F -epsw x -rxboost 1 Hi thanks for answer, What i mean was not the windows startup, but an startup script for the claysmore : something like: --startupscript , like other miners have for ex: srbminer Regards

Hi,

I am assuming you are using Windows. If so then just drag the *.bat file into your Windows Start button or if that doesn't work then just right click and select the Move to startup folder. If these don't work then you can always run the Run command and type in shell:startup and just drag the *.bat file into that directory. My advice to you is if you want to run it on startup then you should delay it by 30-60 seconds or so, because I had issues with Claymore starting right away and Windows was still loading other apps and overclocking a few GPUs and undervolting them. So in your *.bat file put "timeout /t 60". Reason why he didn't put it in Readme is because its outside the scope of the miner program, those that need it to autorun just do it manually. Hi thanks for answer, What i mean was not the windows startup, but an startup script for the claysmore : something like: --startupscript , like other miners have for ex: srbminer Regards

Hi guys, Im an monero guy, and today i tested this miner. Because with ramdomx monero mining will be not profitable, im testing ETH. I got one rig with vega 64, i can reach 51+ Mh/S on ethereum with strap 5 with no problems. In monero i consume 195x watts for 8 gpus. With eth the consume is 22xx watts. What an increase hehe In other rig I got 8 mixed rx 580 with bios mod and one vega 56. They handle 29-31,5 Mh/S. 29- 4gb elpida and 31,5 on 8gb samsung. When i use straps in this moded gpus i got no increase, sometimes an decrease. Maybe is normal, because they are biosmoded. ? I got one vega 56 and got 43x Mh/S with strap 2-4. Im using overdriventool xmr settings, and doned some test that show i can lower a lot my gpu core with no impact in hashing performance. Will test this when i merge to ETH. Anyone had passed for this too? Thnks try rxboost option, get you extra 1 MH Its on

But i can lower core to something like 1000 mhz with no decrease in performance: Strange or maybe the algo is not gpu core sensitive like xmr. Anyone had passed for this too? Thnks

Because some reported 'random miner crashes not related to gpu crashes', i made a little tool as a workaround, until i find the bug(s) and fix them. This tool serves as a replacement for scripts you can set up to monitor the miner process and start it if it's not running. SRB-RESTARTEROnly 3 parameters : --interval value_in_seconds [def. is 10] Specifies how often to check is the SRBMiner process running --instance number Use it if you run multiple SRBMiner instances on the same machine, example is below You must use the following file naming : SRBMiner-CN-n.exe where n is the instance number --run filename [name of .bat file to run] Name of .bat you want to run if SRBMiner process in not running Note: Miner is considered 'not running' after 2 checks! Examples: 1. SRB-Restarter.exe [This will set interval to 10 seconds, and start.bat if SRBMiner process is not running. It will monitor for a process named SRBMiner-CN.exe] 2. SRB-Restarter.exe --interval 5 --run turtle-coin.bat [This will set interval to 5 seconds and run turtle-coin.bat if SRBMiner process is not running. It will monitor for a process named SRBMiner-CN.exe] 3. SRB-Restarter.exe --interval 30 --run start-heavy.bat --instance 1 [This will set interval to 30 seconds and run start-heavy.bat if SRBMiner process is not running. It will monitor for a process named SRBMiner-CN-1.exe] If you copy the whole folder from the .zip into SRBMiner folder, you have an example SRB-Restart.bat inside that will check for the SRBMiner-CN.exe process every 5 seconds, and run start.bat that is in the main miner folder (that's why the '..\start.bat', it means one level back). Link is on the first page or HEREThanks for the tool doc
