Let everyone know about our UseMarket beta sign up! We really want to have as many people as possible to test out the market for one week before we launch. We must make sure that everything is working as intended and no unexpected bugs/exploits appearing after launch.

If you didn't even bother reading the updates posted on the OP and throughout this thread then clearly you are not deserving of the free coins to begin with. If you cared enough about the coin you would at least read our posts and updates. Or even just follow our tweets on twitter, we try to be active.

We have decided to cancel the free distribution after 50k was given out to help protect the integrity of the coin for the long term. We did not want to give out all 500k as most free distribution claims are usually dumped on the exchange regardless of price, since it was free. With what's coming up in the next couple weeks, 2k is still a cheap price if you manage to buy some off the exchanges.

We hope so too. We hope that with the introduction of UseMarket, people investing in altcoins will know exactly how garbage 98% of all other altcoins are right now. They serve NO REAL PURPOSE, other than to give their devs a quick paycheck.

It is an online p2p based marketplace where you can buy and sell goods/services using no other than Usecoin. It also features an ebay style feedback system that is 100% anonymous.

Less than 3 BTC if all miners dump their coins at 2000 sat, depending on their cost to operate (or rig rental costs) this may not even be that profitable for them.

Why? Are you expecting quick 100x overnight profits? Just be patient. Surely the price will go up once the public sees a functional decentralized marketplace that works. Tell me which other coin has that right now? We plan to be the first few.

Remaining IPO coins should be destroyed within the next 24-48 hours. We have decided to get Bittrex to destroy coins for us as a trustworthy entity.

What do you mean? Price was under 1k sat at c-cex yesterday, now we're at a solid 2k.

Also, we will start putting up buy orders on Bittrex with our own BTC and 50% of IPO funds to help stabilize the coin's pricing with buy support. Plus, we don't mind some cheap coins for ourselves since we did not give ourselves any premine.

Update August 21, 2014: IPO Distribution mostly completed.

We apologize for the delay in getting the IPO coins out to all phase 1 investors who used the escrow route. There were some unforeseen circumstances that caused the escrow delay in distributing all coins. However, the majority of the coins have been distributed with the exception of a few who have not yet filled out the second form providing their USE address. Maidak will handle the remainder of the IPO distribution. Overall our launch was a smooth and successful one.

Over the course of the next week or so we will be releasing more teasers and previews of our UseMarket decentralized marketplace. Leading up to the beta test sign ups starting on the 26th this month. Beta testers who sign up to test drive the marketplace before public launch (Sept 9th) will gain full access to the UseMarket. We will even have a few shops set up by the devs with real items you can buy with your Usecoin We are excited for this and the days leading up to the public beta test we will be releasing more screenshots and perhaps even a few video teasers. Around the time of the beta test phase, we will launch a series of "Video Tutorials" for UseMarket, simple and easy to follow video guides on how to set up a store, sell/buy items, use a notary/arbitrary, etc.

Now we will be reducing max. supply by 3.5mil, so total after 5 years will be around 9mil.

PoS will generate around 2.5mil coins over the next 5 years.
