So, how's the poor finger doing? Getting better, I hope?

No point in trying to explain such an alien concept as mining for support. It's all about taking as much as you can and screw everything else. And look around, everything gets screwed indeed...
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: UNO hashrate observation on: December 14, 2014, 11:53:31 PM
UNO hashrate has been above 30 ths a couple of days, but has come back down to about 20 ths today.

My earnings the past couple of days from 250 ghs at genesis-mining.

By the way, I noticed that Genesis-Mining has scrypt contracts available for sale right now.

Similar to my output, just with 500GHs at Genesis-Mining, so my figures are x2. It's also comparable to my home miner output, which is doing better but has no fee being deducted from the mining output (yeah, right, the bill comes later...)

Gotta admit, my home miner is mining Paycoin while it can. Others might be doing the same, which could explain the drop in total hashrate from 30 to 20?

Well, you can rent out an entire machine. There are quite some people, or communities!, willing to go for the big hashrate, and they don't scare easily because of difficult interfaces and settings, or even failed pools  or connections. No need to change the regular interface then for regular people, and maybe just add another?

Just a quick thought...

Very bad service:Order not processed after nearly 16 hours........seems not to be serious.
Does it even matter?! Read the email you got, it says that mining starts from the moment you pay (so, not from the moment order is completed...). That is actually a great service.

My vote goes to Dr Kimoto Chan of Megacoin

Yup, I'm waiting (not hoping) to see what's in my stocking. Santa drops off a load every day so I don't need to able to see every second of the day what the score is so far.

The bogus counters refers to cloud mining sites that have these neat little counters based on nothing other then a simple script that updates the display every.. second or whatever. I'm not even against the whole idea, but I like actual numbers every once in a while.

On mining pools I want details all the time as I control the settings. For cloud mining I want a good and reliable return.
Having said that, I haven't checked my miner aimed at miningpool.co for days. Just the coins popping up in my wallet. Santa is busy
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Genesis-mining.com || World's leading hosted Scrypt hashpower provider! on: December 01, 2014, 08:36:22 PM
That is basically it... Smiley

You never know, they might do something like graphs and all that other display stuff someday.
Probably way too complicated. There's a load of coins to track then, thousands and thousands of customers with different settings, and on top of that there's a bunch of auto/most profitable coins which have no known value until they are exchanged for the coin of choice for individuals again.
If you want to know how many coins you made, check your wallet once a day. I'm okay with that actually. I rather see truth once in a while then fake counter with bogus numbers all the time  Tongue
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Current wallet 0.9.5 on: December 01, 2014, 08:52:39 AM
coinwallet.co is run by the same person(s?) as miningpool.co, which is the best UNO pool I know.

Online wallets, well, risk, yeah, but the way some people treat security on their own machines, in those cases online is a thousand times better Cheesy
I guess use a bunch of online wallets. Spread your investments, spread your savings. I need something online for easy access anywhere. Though UNO is stored at home.

Gotcha, and thanks FK!  I just signed up, but I screwed up doing so -- thinking that choosing USD payment would allow me to use a credit card.  No, bank wire only.  I hate bank wires.  Smiley

I've got a support ticket in on hopefully changing it from USD to BTC where I could then do a simple coinbase transfer.
I made the same mistake. Just do make another order for bitcoin. The USD order will expire on it's own.

Well, actually you can cancel an order yourself from the Dashboard page. All orders are there, at the bottom of the page, including status and a cancel option if you haven't paid yet.
Bank orders suck. Every bank that touches the transfer in some way will slam a fee on top. If you're really unlucky then your transfer will go through several banks.

I received first payment also, 0.16 UNO. But it's not based on a full day of mining of course. My rig at home does 1 UNO per 3 days now I think, and it's 550GHs or something like that. Without power costs added (or rather, deducted), so we'll have to see how the daily fees at GM (0.02USD per 10GHs) play a part in this. Considering future value we're talking about making $100,000 a month, so who cares Cheesy

Just bought a little extra hashrate and pointed 500GHs at UNO in my Genesis Mining account.

To those wanting to do the same, don't forget to add a payout wallet address in your account first, or the UNO setting won't be saved on the mining allocation page Smiley
56  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] .0015 BTC per GH/s - 5 year contract **www.BitcoinCloudServices.com** on: November 27, 2014, 07:25:20 PM
Well, actually that's pretty weak reasoning. A flat leg of a cheap rack that's build up solely of flat elements is 100% proof of fake imaging?! If you zoom in you could think there's a 90 degree angle support behind the leg, barely visible. Odd thing is, the same "flat" leg appears exactly the same on a different photo from a different angle. Where's the research on that?
My concern, if the 90 degree angle support is not there, is that the leg might bend. With all the weight of the hardware resting on that leg, the slightest bending will tip the thing over. IF the support is indeed missing, but it might still be there. The low res pics are not clear.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2014 Proof of Honor (POH) Awards - Nominate an Individual! on: November 27, 2014, 10:19:41 AM
I would like to nominate Kimoto Chan for developing Megacoin and the Kimoto Gravity Well. I believe his Gravity Well is as universal as Bitcoin and Litecoin code. I might also mention that Megacoin is unique in many ways, and uses Bitcoin core with Scrypt hashing.

I second the nomination of Dr Kimoto Chan of KGW & Megacoin fame.

+1 nomination for Kimoto Chan of Megacoin.  The [K]imoto [G]ravity [W]ell difficulty adjustment algorithm paved the way for many other alt coins, preventing massive pools from rendering them unmineable.  A lot of people overlook how important this really was.

I would also like to note that I am very happy to see Kingscrown / EXCL listed, I see a lot of potential there.

i nominate dr. kimoto chan, the lead developer of megacoin and the kgw.

And another vote for Kimoto for above mentioned reasons. Major achievements.

Haven't seen a payout yet today so the 60% overnight tank is based on what information? And which coin as there are many that can be mined

also... the coming Bitcoin difficulty adjustment is estimated to be -1.49%, which can hardly be labeled an increase Tongue

59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Current wallet 0.9.5 on: November 21, 2014, 11:40:38 PM

Cool you heard the words ... things are gonna get BRIGHT

There's still competition, PeerCoin and BitcoinDark are on the candidates list as well I believe, but I'm hoping for a Christmassy December though.

Zeta is cool also. It's way more practical to pay for your coffee with Zetacoin then Bitcoin. And to pay for the entire coffeeshop with UNO Tongue

Heh, mangled quotes, it wasn't me who said that UNO is #4 or whatever rank.
