41  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons Crypto Players Skip Casinos with KYC on: May 15, 2019, 06:02:53 AM
Lets me quote the 4 reasons in this thread:
Quote
#1 Compromised Anonymity
#2 Fear of Info Exploitation
#3 Hassle
#4 Country Restrictions

Further details of each reasons can be read on the added link by OP.

I myself one of those who against KYC procedure for betting purpose in this bitcoin/crypto gambling industry. I have to say that 4 above reasons are enough to represent my situation but the main important reason why I choose to gamble with crypto is about its anonymity. In case all crypto gambling sites requires KYC in the future, I think I will stop gambling as there is no reason for me to continue as I gamble for fun only so I do not want to reveal my identity in online gambling.
What is harmed by a house or gambling site if they do not apply KYC? I'm sure most crypto users will never play on gambling sites that require KYC on their site. the reason is simple, of course they want to remain safe and anonymous. and of course I will avoid that site, there are still many gambling sites after all
42  Economy / Economics / Re: How cash is becoming a thing of the past | DW Documentary (Banking documentary) on: May 15, 2019, 05:39:41 AM
I think we'll eventually go cashless completely on the introduction of some sort of bio chip that contains all your details of your identity as well as allowing access to your stored funds, it will be used like a contactless bank card is now used except it will be an insert in to your forearm.
Yeahin some countries today implementing a system that looks like that. As in my country, there are ID cards with chips in them, and they contain big data like names, addresses, bank account numbers and so on, and you can pay hospital bills, electricity bill just with that card.

The world is increasingly sophisticated you know and we will certainly find new innovations from a payment better than cash
43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How important are VIP ranks and rewards to you? on: May 15, 2019, 05:14:31 AM
For me, I don't think that will be worth it because I don't expect to get a big win in the gambling games.
I don't take the VIP rewards into my account, and I am only an ordinary people who only want to play gambling.
But I don't know with the other's opinion, and maybe they will like to take VIP rewards because they can use it for another.
it's kind of loyalty to their loyal users, but it doesn't really matter if you just play for fun right. unless you are looking for profit in gambling, maybe a VIP rank will greatly affect the final outcome of your gambling game.
but for small players like me, ranking isn't too much of a concern
44  Economy / Economics / Re: Why can't we have a good cryptocurrency exchange? on: May 15, 2019, 04:38:33 AM
So basically you want and high reputable exchange that never be a victim of hackings or not possible to get hacked so it will be totally safe for everyone to store their funds? That kind of exchange won't be exist, hackers will be always smarter time by time. Also, everyone are supposed to not storing their assets on any exchanges. You can trade and make profit there but store your assets only on your private wallet.

We don't need to have that kind of exchange as we are supposed to trust no one.
Some cases of hacking on exchange sites may only be manipulated, or insider trick. so the risk is not only hacking but a scam too. that's the risk if you use a centralized exchange site dude, they can be hacked or scam and lose  you. You right, there are no exchange sites that are totally safe, there is definitely a risk of losing. but my advice is use decentralized exchange to reduce the risk
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hope I can still ride the bull. on: May 15, 2019, 04:08:46 AM
I've been away from the forum for the past few months because of some projects that needs full attention. I've never even opened or read any news about bitcoin's performance for the past few months until I bumped a very good friend of mine and told me that bitcoins on the bull. So I checked online and seen some good greens and was very much excited to get back into trading.

I've already lost track of the current events regarding crypto so I need to catch up and get back to the forum again to gain some vital information.

I just found out that the only trading platform I used to trade got hacked. (Binance)

I really wanted to play part of the bull runs and wanted to earn profit so I'd like to ask for your help and suggestions on what trading platforms I may use as of the moment

Thanks in advance! More power to you guys!  Wink
I think you are quite late mate, if you just go back in a few days ago, of course you could have made a big profit now. at this time we don't know how long prices will continue to rise? if there are still many people like you, haven't returned to join and buy yet, maybe prices will continue to rise. if you find a correction or a decrease in price, then it's your chance to buy and maybe your chance to play a part in the bull run, keep your eye in the market.

For exchange sites, forget it about Binance, look for another exchange. there are still many secure and trusted exchange sites like Bittrex, Huobi, Kucoin, or Poloniex.
46  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips to actually start earning from Trading & END LOSES on: May 14, 2019, 02:13:52 PM
It's hard not to trade on emotions but you have to remember this is a game and we have to always look forward, don't look backwards once a trade is executed. Little profit is not a bad word my friends, be contented of a the small amounts you gained. It is better  safe +10% than a wannabe +100% of no assurance, people are just greedy sometimes but can't blame them, we are human after all.
Being in greedy will never have a good result but instead, it mostly ended up into losing. Ain't that really bad if we go for emotion trading if we know our mistakes and even recognized our limits. It sometimes I used to have my instinct will play in trading and it is quite some time that it will work well.
Kinda inside voice trading. It is boring to trade with a fixed strategy and money management. Sometimes, for adding more fun to trading I increase the leverage or take margin from trade. Depending on the trade expectation, profit/loss ratio is managed by fixed rules in my personal trading journey.
I don't think you need to mess your trading plans and strategies like making an increase in margin trade or leverage just to make you hfun, a passionate trader will certainly be fun with whatever plans they make, whether fixed strategy or something like that. I don't blame you if you're boring, but it looks like you don't enjoy every process in trading
47  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where/Who are the best traders? on: May 14, 2019, 01:37:16 PM
I cant understand what you mean with this, traders success are depend on the coin situation if the coin has something to do essentially in the market then it is better for trading. You cant look for the best traders because they are silent all the time because they know what they are doing and they dont need anyone's opinion for the success.

There is traders all over the world, most trade something from nature for money (trees, oil)
Some create there own creations to trade (farmers, artist, wholesalers)
Some traders buy other peoples creations and trade (stock market,retailers,btc/fiat trading)

Who are the best traders I meant.
For the common good, I agree with you, who provides great benefits you can assume that people who create something to sell like farmers have far greater benefits to all of us, they don't harm anyone, instead they provide needs that can be used by many people. while like traders nature is like an oil entrepreneur they can manipulate the oil market for their own benefit, and harm the small people like us
48  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good trading strategy for newcommer? on: May 14, 2019, 01:01:55 PM
Taking small 2-3% profits daily is less risky.
All you have to do is first learn basics of Technical analysis so that you can know when there is a strong signal to buy. 2 to 3 percent is not hard to achieve in a short time and Once you achieve your target, always exit and never try to be so greedy.
it will be risky if bearish occurs. I did not give the target what percentage of profit I should get, because certainly each time will be different depending on the market conditions. I usually see candlesticks on the chart, there are many strategies for reading candlesticks on the market, and it will give you signals when to sell and buy
49  Economy / Speculation / Re: what will happen if BTC hit 1.000.000$ on: May 14, 2019, 10:16:46 AM
hi guys
if BTC hit 1 million $ in the future what will happen
do u think we will see more hack news
More violence and criminalization of bitcoin holders by governments
Any events we will see ?

That's impossible to happen maybe 100k USD each might possible but even the 1m USD each bitcoin won't help to stop hackers for hacking and stealing bitcoin it is their nature of earning money.

We can't change it unless if the price of bitcoin will become no value in the future I'm sure there is no hacking news will be published in the future related to bitcoin hacking.

Since the bitcoin price is increasing more hackers and criminals are attracted to get easy bitcoin to their victim.
Agree with that, even now there has been a lot of news about hacking, what if prices skyrocket or like worth above $100k will certainly make many hackers interested in committing acts of theft. if the price of bitcoin is low, hackers certainly will not do that, because it will only waste their time to hacking worhless coin. in my opinion, the higher the price of bitcoin, the greater the crime act in bitcoin.
50  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you think so please stop! on: May 14, 2019, 06:36:17 AM
I have seen some recent posts after this somewhat "unexpected" Bitcoin pump that people are greedy and hence should cash out! Really!!? I don't know why people are saying so but we have endured the longest bear market ever (I suggest Theymos should give all of us a tag  Grin for that achievement  Grin), with insults from people that we're greedy, charlatans, etc. And funny enough! there are people amongst us who have seen thousands, hundreds, of Dollars drain down to "coins" and now that we are about to smile some are saying we're greedy and should cash out! I don't know why they are saying that but for those who have been in the game fr a long time know we are no where near where we've been before. Please if you want to cash out, fine you can but don't call HODLers greedy! In fact, we deserve a citation rather lol...
HODLers aren't greedy it is their way to gain their profit ,
We have different tactics on gaining profit so if call HODLer's greedy then you should also call the short term traders greedy.
Just because holders are gaining now that doesn't make them greedy we don't know their story they might jave lose more than what they are gaining now.
Yeah that's the way they get profit, thats why it call holding, because they are waiting for a high price in accordance with their expectations and targets, of course it's not greedy. greedy if you are a short-term investor, you have profit but you want to get a bigger profit by holding it even though you know the market will definitely fall. thats a different thing for me
51  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is a good crypto portfolio %? on: May 14, 2019, 05:33:32 AM
Mine is all altcoins and losing quite a bit now Sad

Bitcoin is getting stronger again. And as with many years, the movements of Bitcoin put pressure on all the other altcoins. 100% Bitcoin until Bitcoin Stops!
Altcoin also increases, doesn't it? I will not allocate all my money in bitcoin, whereas I see some altcoins that have a percentage increase in prices that are far greater than bitcoin. see how Ripple price rises by more than 20% and it's much higher than bitcoin, and many other altcoins have higher price movements than bitcoin.
I know bitcoin is quite safe so I put about 40% of my total assets and 60% for some altcoins, thats a sound good to me`
52  Economy / Speculation / Re: What price will never be seen again? on: May 14, 2019, 05:08:54 AM
When people discuss Bitcoin's price, sometimes they tell that some price will never be seen again, because the market will be so bullish in the future, that even new bottoms will be higher than that price. The only way it won't hold true is if Bitcoin will be truly dying, but there's absolutely no reason to think that it will happen as of now.

So, let's predict what price will never be seen again! I think we won't see anything lower than $5,700 ever again, and the next few weeks is the last opportunity for bearish movements that can bring Bitcoin to below $6,000.
$4XXX is mainly on support as of this moment but i do love the days when bitcoin nose dive in 3k++ price which is the all time low on 2 years as far as i remember.

For those people who do still wait for the dip then i doubt they wont see sub par below 5k price for sure.We are heading to recovery now.
They have to know that every year the bottom line will always go up, in the past few months maybe $3800 has become a bottom line for bitcoin. but of course there is an improvement and the market will be stronger because of the correction. You might never see $4k again in the next few years. and even today I think prices will no longer fall below $5k. see very positive market conditions now
53  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin rises very fast! on: May 14, 2019, 04:34:20 AM
Probably due to Fidelity allowing their customers to trade crypto which will help more institutional investors join this ever growing market. The good thing is that negative news like the Binance hack and Tether controversy did not faze it too much and it continues growing organically.
Yeah, It seem's like the FUD didn't get into the Bitcoin investors this time.
Maybe we are just immune to those negative news and didn't really care too much right now .
Most of us are now watching as the price continue to slowly climb up.
I think panic for buying is far stronger than fear because of binance got hack. I was surprised when the bincance was hacked, the price went up. when the upward trend has occurred, it will be difficult to contain it. whatever the negative news come, it will be difficult to make price stop to rise, because the positive trend has made many people sure to buy more, and prices rises very fast, soon will touch $8k
54  Economy / Economics / Re: Forms of converting cryptocurrencies into cash on: May 14, 2019, 04:17:26 AM
Just like in subject. How do you converting cryptocurrencies into cash? For example in Poland I can convert in so-called bitcoinmat from page shitcoins.club. I don't know how is it in other countries, so please reply. Thanks Smiley
if you want to more easily convert it to fiat, look for a local exchange site. now there should be many local exchange sites in each country,
they focus on exchanging local currencies with cryptocurrency. and you can directly withdraw to your bank account. that so simple
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need so many cryptocurrency exchanges? on: May 14, 2019, 03:33:24 AM
How many brokers for classic assets are out there? Thousands, why? Well, just like everything else, why are there a ton of different websites to buy the same things? To sell the same things? etc etc. That's how it works, ultimately the ones who are serious about it will try to offers something better, whether it's regulations, better fees, faster platform, more detailed charts, more trading options, margin trading, etc etc. We do in fact need more cryptocurrency exchanges, hopefully decentralized ones as well.
Thats why every exchange site has its advantages, as you said that they are competing to provide and offer the best facilities for their customers, and of course the most useful and best innovation, will be used by many customers. Exchange sites that don't have much innovation will certainly be abandoned. thats how it works
why many new exchange sites? because they think they can offer the latest technology, better than the previous exchange, that's what they offer to attrach people.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would be the perfect cryptocurrency in your opinion? on: May 13, 2019, 04:49:30 PM
In my opinions, There is no perfect cryptocurrency, no perfect projects. anything change very fast on technology. So, if i think today coin/token/projects A is perfect, 5 years to go it become an ordinary projects.
I think so, technology will be more advanced, whatever technology you think is perfect will be obsolete, and projects, coins, or others will not be perfect anymore.
and to be the perfect project or perfect crypto you need to complete all the wishes of the user. whereas it is possible for everyone to have different desires about the perfect specifications for crypto.
people want anonymity, others want centralized coins, others want a small total supply, others want a large total supply, there will be no perfect project or crypto for everyone
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Selling tokens/low market cap coins for Bitcoin? on: May 13, 2019, 02:55:52 PM
Hello,
didn't you ask yourself if it is not better to sell all of your low market cappitalization coins (mostly earned in bounty campaigns) and buy more Bitcoins?
Because I do not see any price progress in these altcoins,  like in 2017 bull market when all of these tokens were highly valuable and could make 1000% anytime.
Now most of them seems like dead. And I am asking myself: Now, it is the best time to sell them all and get atleast some Bitcoins?
Imagine that you sell all of your tokens for 1000$ and buy Bitcoin that costs now 5000$.
Imagine that you didn't sell and all of your tokens will still have same value, but Bitcoin will reach new ATH price.

It depends on your altcoin that earned in bounty campaigns, if you think your token have a future and their team is very active then go hold that token. In the other hand, you think that your token have no future and their team is all about talk without developments then dump your token and buy some valuable coins like bitcoin.
Agree, yeah Bitcoin looks charming if you look at the current market, but you have projects that are successfully listed on the market and have high prices. it doesn't matter to sell it and exchange it to bitcoin, its your choice. but my advice is to hold some project that you think is worthy
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange and Hacks on: May 13, 2019, 12:43:44 PM
It's horrible when you said it's th year of hacking. Why? Exchanges security may be lower and hacker took the chance ro hack. It will be working as an alert for each of the exchange and they will take necessary steps to avoid this kind of issue.

Most of the times, it is inside job. Probably done in collusion with someone who is either a current employee or a former employee. It is very difficult to hack the exchanges unless you get some sort of support from the inside. This has happened to a lot of the exchanges in the recent past, but I am not sure whether it is the same case with Binance or not.
So you assume that hacking cases that happened to some exchanges like Bitfinex have internal interference or have they planned it?
what about binance? I think that every centralized exchange site certainly has a gap to hack, so it's natural that their security system is hacked. But of course it's not an annual activity that always happens.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New billionarie list if bitcoin exploded on: May 13, 2019, 10:49:29 AM
They would only become billionaires if they actually sold all of their BTC which they most probably won't. They might sell a couple of them here and there through OTC solutions to not affect the BTC value and majority of them can retire by selling only a couple of BTC.
How lucky they are, they will not sell it before the highest price of bitcoin come. they don't need to sell everything to pay for their living needs after all. of course if they sell all their assets will have a bad impact on the market value.

That is just shortlist, Bitcoin has a total supply 21 millions, of course there are still many anonymous users who hold tens of thousands bitcoin as well.
60  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the Next Bitcoin Bull Run Started? on: May 13, 2019, 05:24:30 AM
obviously!
all the FUD about Bitfinex and the hack of Binance have been huge negative forces that actually pushed the price down but the reason why price didn't go down was because of the much stronger buy force that acted against that push and crushed it.
a good lesson for all those who tend to keep going against the market and get crushed.
Yeah I think so, but the market actually increases, really the market is sometimes unpredictable and beyond our logically. when many people are shocked and saddened by the news of hacking, prices are skyrocketing.

it could be that price development is more stronger than the influence of binance news, or maybe the effect will come later. but I think the bull run is getting closer rather than down
