Have I gone too far already? Bitmit has some color in the name so I was trying to replicate.

Thanks Mike! Another friendly user - hendo420 - also helped me realize that creating the signature inside of a post/message box is really easy and then just paste it into Signature!
45  Other / Meta / Signature Options? on: September 07, 2013, 03:34:01 AM
Can someone kindly lead me in the direction of finding out how to do more with my signature. Such as a tutorial for simply creating a hyperlink? Or how to add a small Image? Please and Thank You!  Cool

Definitely looking forward to a guide for using blades with BFGminer. Can't believe they didn't add stratum on these. Also, I know many people like the network interface and could care less for USB on these, but I was looking forward to just throwing a couple on my pi. Guess that's not gonna happen. Anyway, looks like it's quite easy to hook these guys up with power using a "Y" molex splitter or Molex-PCIe connector. Wonder if they have them consuming a little less power this time around? Maybe thats why they clocked them down, to set the voltage to be most efficient? Or maybe for long term reliability? The prices are certainly MUCH lower now though...

Eleuthria, thanks for the close up pic. Did you get any backplanes? If so can you snap a pic or two?

whats the bottom board on the new blades?  how many can it hold?

Thats the backplane. 10 blades will fit on the backplane.

1 backplane comes with every 10 units from AsicMiner. I haven't found much more information other than that anywhere as far as purchasing backplanes.

Medium flat rate can hold two ... maybe three.

Medium Box 1
Outside:
11 1/4" x 8 3/4" x 6"
Inside:
11" x 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"

Medium Box 2
Outside:
14" x 12" x 3 1/2"
Inside:
13 5/8" x 11 7/8" x 3 3/8"

Thanks for the help.... Which one is the medium you speak of?

CANARY -Are all the blades arriving Thursday accounted for?

Apologize if I am missing this somewhere. What size USPS priority flat rate box for shipping the blades? I would also like to know if the first batch is spoken for.. Thanks Canary and keep up the good work!

Seems about right. I ran solo with 20 usb sticks for a few days before and noticed that BFGminer seemed as though no work was happening. Thanks for the help. Highly anticipating these new blades. About to place an order with SSB this afternoon. Wish I had enough coin to do 10 on a backplane. 100GH for 40btc could pay off after two blocks solved!

What hardware for 950GH?
55  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Comprehensive ASICMiner Blade Setup on: September 03, 2013, 06:50:27 PM
Any word on if the new blades will have the same interface?
56  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Please Help! Solo mining SHA-256 with Block Erupter BLADES! on: September 03, 2013, 06:49:09 PM
Anyone find some more information, or a guide to solo mining with blades?
57  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Block Erupter Blade (New Model)]Low Price, Limited Quantity on: September 03, 2013, 06:45:50 PM
So how bout them blades?  Ethernet is handy in it's own right, but USB would be nice so I could just throw it on my pi...

Will the interface be the same?   Native stratum support?   Why remove the overclock?

Are more pictures/information available for power connections and backplanes?

Will the backplanes be sold seperately?

58  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [200'000 GH] BTC Guild - Pays TxFees, Stratum, MergedMining, Private Servers on: September 02, 2013, 03:28:07 AM
So then what hardware? Or should everyone just forget trying to mine for a BTC profit ever again?

With the latest round of coupons my average price per unit is down near .3... Seems like I might actually squeak out a a lil profit in a month or so..  Certainly will happen slowly, but we all knew the difficulty was primed to skyrocket. As it most certainly is. 100m coming very soon. Anyone thinking about swapping oscillators/resistors/heatsinks to pull a little more out of the erupters? Very cheap to get the parts.... Other than maybe the new blades at 4 in group buys, what other options are there for hardware?
