I apologize if this was already discussed/requested elsewhere in this thread.

Feature Request: In the Vericoin wallet overview tab, could you include a line item showing the total amount of vrc/interest earned?

Just click on 'transactions', then click on 'type', it will all be there sorted by date.

Thanks - I'm familiar with QT but what I'm looking for is a total interest amount listed in overview.

43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RZR] Razor - cutting edge of technology [No premine][Scrypt] [LAUNCHED!] on: June 27, 2014, 07:06:19 AM
Just by sheer coincidence, the only wallet that for some mysterious reason won't upload, is the wallet for the operating system the vast majority of users are running.  And our genius dev who has figured out a new cutting edge anonymity system can't figure out how to use mega.

Now I'm guessing that by the time we get the wallet, the only anonymity it in will be that it routes through TOR.  In a couple days you'll release a whitepaper with some vague description of the anonymity protocol that is coming soon in revision 2.

Retards see "anonymous" and an edgy (quite literally) name and logo and go nuts.  You and your buddies dump 10s of thousands of insta-mined coins.  You disappear and the coin is abandoned within a month.

Am I on the right track?

Wow you got it spot on. The anonymity is routed through TOR(like every coin is aka bitcoin is also routed through TOR, meaning razor is a total scam...) The whitepaper is very vague and stupid, and the devs have instamined because there was no windows wallet.

Spot on sixteen, spot on.

Wallet is working just fine.  Can't everyone in crypto just get along and be supportive? We all essentially want safe/secure/useful crypto.  Life's too short to spin FUD all day.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RZR] Razor - Cutting Edge of Technology ☆[TOR Anon]☆ [No Premine] [Scrypt] on: June 22, 2014, 06:29:51 PM
So as most of you know the other day I sent 5000 razor to a riecoin address that is listed on poloniex right above the razorcoin address and unfortunately they were compatible and I haven't been able to recover the coins. This has put a lot of stress on me as I haven't been able to eat, and it's pretty much wrecking me. I'm really really depressed about this and it seems the ONLY possible way for me to get the coins back is if during the next coin update/fork if the developer voids that transaction so coins can be returned to me. The address I sent to is an unknown/unclaimed address. I know the community would have to agree to something like this so I just wanted to post it here and see what everyone thinks... it would help me a lot. also here is my donation address: RJ5S5MD8HFFyiirpXLoePnb33f824xYgE6

5000k rzr. I say do it. Thats shitty.

thanks man. its been really rough.. wife even left with my kid Sad (I went crazy)
Sent 100RZR.  Polo sucks.

Very awesome!  Still can't understand why this guy attracts so many trolls/fudsters/etc. - don't see any of them throwing around 100 RZR.  He's a cool guy with a great heart to those with open minds.  Crypto has become so much more interesting after looking into what he's up to...thx!
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [NAUT] Nautiluscoin - First Coin w/Stabilization Fund - Digishield on: June 04, 2014, 07:26:13 AM
Just thought I'd mention that nautilus was added as a coin that can be tracked on the BlockStreet app (iOS and I think Android).  For those familiar with Zeroblock, the BlockStreet app is very similiar with the exception that it allows you to easily check prices of various alts.  While there are hundreds of alts the devs for this app could choose from, not all of them are available so I thought it was cool of them to include Nautilus. Most likely being attacked

We desperately need more pool operators to step up!
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ELT] Electron, a new Blake-256 coin for GPU/FPGA on: May 26, 2014, 02:39:02 AM
Love the blake ecosystem...

Just one question - any other experienced pool operators working on setting up additional merged blake pools?  As more coins get added to the ecosystem, I'm thinking this will be key or we will have 5+ coins with lopsided distribution..

Hoping more are willing to jump in..

Thanks for your work and code BlueDragon!

Nautilus was relaunched.  Now with NSF.  I agree - wake up!
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BLAKE-256] DIRAC (XDQ) - Advanced Finance on: May 21, 2014, 08:08:33 PM
Dirac market Cap = 2,272,080 total Dirac * market price for Dirac (currently 16.6 Naut) * BTC price per Naut (Currently 0.00033) * BTC price (currently 496) = ~6M USD

Market cap is based on the total number of coins in existence, not the total number that may someday be produced.

Unless you're telling me that this joker has already mined all 2.2 million coins!

Sorry - yes you are correct.  I forgot to qualify that as *potential* market cap as I believe I've seen Bryece do in his comments.  Not the way you would normally calculate though keep in mind, the time for all coins to be mined is significantly shorter than most other coins.  Around august 17 we can expect the block reward to drop from 8 to 1.25.

Regardless of your thoughts about the dev, if you have spare GPUs laying around, I'd love to hear thoughts from the community on why it makes sense to use them on anything else other than merge mining Blake-256 coins.  BlueDragon is the real deal and has great pools.  For those willing to look, all the info you need is available.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BLAKE-256] DIRAC (XDQ) - Advanced Finance on: May 21, 2014, 04:58:42 PM

why not? - are they afraid the exposure of the real value of the coin compared to btc would cause it to crash?

Exactly.  On Twitter, he's claiming that Dirac's market cap is $10 million!

LOL.  What a scam!

The market cap was much higher that 10M earlier, but like all crypto, it goes up and down.  Basically, to calculate:

Dirac market Cap = 2,272,080 total Dirac * market price for Dirac (currently 16.6 Naut) * BTC price per Naut (Currently 0.00033) * BTC price (currently 496) = ~6M USD

I'll be appearing on the David Seaman Hour (http://davidseaman.com/) podcast tomorrow talking Dirac, NautilusCoin and the Blake Ecosystem.

Really digging merge mining these blake-256 coins - in tomorrow's interview, I'd love to hear about other coins in the pipeline.  Somewhere I saw BlueDragon mention a couple more are coming and that there are more dev's onboarding.

Thanks for the cool coin!

Is everyone getting seemingly low hashrates with the cgminer?  Each of my 7970's are only getting around 350mh/s each where I would normally expect 750 each.  Is this normal?

yes, it's neither scrypt or SHA256 but modded keccak

Thanks for the response - I suspected as much but was having difficulty locating confirmation of that....time to throw on another rig

Bitoy and Zathras - do you folks have wallets available for testing with Test MSC?  Bitoy, I know you have a wallet but last I had heard you were sorting out the SQL issues - Was that resolved?  Zathras, I really like the looks of the sneek peak - any updates on opening the wallet for testing purposes?  Thanks!

I took some time today to add Fedora (20) support to the automagic installer. As always it might work on earlier versions, if not give me a pm.

I've updated the README with the new script link; if you use the instructions there it should always be up-to-date. (I want to avoid pasting the link here since it might expire in the future and it's hard to go back and edit it everywhere Smiley

Edit: I created a fixed url for the installer. The latest version should always be on wallet.mastercoin-explorer.com, to install it:

Code:
curl -L http://wallet.mastercoin-explorer.com/ | bash

Very nice! I've got to get some sleep now but will look to test on few different distros over the next couple days.  Thanks!

Jeffrey Tucker just tweeted that Michael Terpin will be speaking at the North American bitcoin conference to be held at the end of this month in Miami so I would expect more mastercoin coverage there as well.

Is there an easy way to send MSC yet? Or is it still this way:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=265488.msg2919863#msg2919863

Just today, Tachikoma released a very simple install for his mastercoin-wallet that includes a simple send function.  It's for those running variants of ubuntu and he's looking for more people to test the install.  I installed on Ubuntu 13.10 with no issues.  Even if you're running Mac OS X or Windows, I feel its worthwhile to spin up a vm running Ubuntu to be able to use this wallet.

INSTRUCTIONS HERE

Edit - Just to clarify, the wallet and its simple send capability have been tested with both "Test" MSC and "Real" MSC quite a bit and in use for some time

Hey guys,

I've been mostly AFK these past two weeks but I'm back.

For those on (x/l/k)Ubuntu 13.10 (and perhaps 13.04) I made a script that should hopefully help you install the wallet but I require some testers.

Code:
sudo apt-get -y install curl
curl -L https://gist.github.com/maran/8182379/raw/7309391a1e2341ff9f0cb1ae6603e8006cb891cc/install.sh | bash

This should install the dependencies, install rvm, install ruby-2.1 and install the wallet software.

I developed it on a Xubuntu 13.10 version and it works there.

Please let me know.

Welcome back!  This is hands down the easiest method to install and works great!  It does take some time as expected - about 20 minutes or so but still much faster than manually doing everything yourself.  I had an ISO for Ubuntu 13.10 so tested with that.

I'm surprised more people aren't jumping on this.  I recommend putting this in the OP and possibly cross posting in the main thread(s)

Thanks!  Still excited for what comes next  Cool
