41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LTS] LottoShares - Airdrops to DOGE, BTC, Trade @Bter on: July 28, 2014, 08:01:32 PM
BTER has stopped accepting any more deposits from me and have gave odd replies to my questions as to why they will not fund these transactions into my account.  The only thing I can think of is they were using old wallet address that are no longer available to them and have lost the funds that were sent to them.

I think Bter was just being cautious following the chain reset.

I've just heard they have re-enabled deposits/withdrawals.

You are correct.  My deposit page has returned and those transactions are now processing.  Its looking alot better then it was a half an hour ago, looks like they are working it all out.  I literally had just checked it prior to checking this thread to see if there was any news why I was having issues with those transactions.  I still can't believe I was able to mine so many of them due to the low difficulty.  I only have one R9 280X.  Thanks for the help Freetrade, I have alot of respect for you  Grin

Freetrade, looking at those transaction details for my above post, Is the system suppose to split LTS into blocks of 10 LTS and assign it an addresses like it shows in those transactions?  Something I noticed when sending any transactions larger then 100 was the wallet lags for a very long time before actually sending the transaction out.  I honestly in all my wallet dealings never have seen one act as this one does when sending coins to another address.

I think alot of transactions were not saved from the original block chain.  I had lotto tickets that won for unique amounts that are no longer showing in my wallet.  My new problem is I transferred almost my entire balance to BTER and they now have yet to honor these last two transactions I made yesterday:

transaction   action

I do not understand.  I thought the balances from the previous chain were going to be maintained?  I had mined 8k Lottoshares over the time it has been released and now they are gone?
nope, they don't
run the wallet with -salvagewallet command

Thank you, never had to use the salvage wallet command before.  Only able to get 6.9k back of the 8k I originally had though.

Start the wallet with "-rescan" then "-reindex", if neccessary.

Tried the rescan command and no change.  The reindex command causes the qt to crash as soon as the splash screen shows up.  I then have to delete the blockchain data in the roaming folder to get the qt to run again.  I am using the backup copy of my wallet before I installed the new 1.0.2 version and after the salvage command the balance still only shows 6995.83059467.  The only thing I can think of is that perhaps the blockchain I was on for the last few days before the update was not the correct chain.  I was checking the block explorer every so often because of the forks and I had mined the 3rd to last block that the block explorer was showing (block 5126 I believe) before the last and final fork.

Okay - should be fixed now.

I've re-initialized the network.

For those compiling from source . . . you'll need to pull the latest source, and clear out your LottoShares directory - everything except your wallet.dat

This should finally fix the forking and all balances as at previous chain 5313 are maintained.

Testz should be along soon with new binaries.
