Put it simply: it is wrong! to hold a coin while it's dropping 50%, 70%, 90%, 95%... and it's a quite common thing in crypto, especially if you're getting some small caps. You'll most often never get back what you invested.

However, I'm not saying you have to get into day trading... that's a full day's work that demands a lot of time, skill, and just isn't for anyone. You should get some balance that suits you most, follow prices, and be ready to pull the trigger.

Unless you're in crypto only a few months, you'll be aware that there are market cycles: one every year, sometimes two a year, sometimes one every two years... You should try to learn to spot those cycles, sell (relatively) near the top, buy (relatively) near the bottom, and you'll be good

Sometimes I do read the whitepaper but it doesn't exactly clarify many things to someone who's not deep into the topic. And it's also not a guarantee of anything, either successful either unsuccessful project.
