41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sci-fi coin online status. on: September 28, 2015, 09:31:13 PM
Nice to see that there is still some ... well I don't know exactly what... going on with the Scifi coins...

I found a federationcredit daemon and blockchain on an old disk and decided to give it a whirl...

No peers until I found this topic.  Grin

Current peers accepting inbound connections for UFC are:

Maybe it's time to find the wallet and the dust of the Blake-256 rig.

Installed and running on 6 ZTEXes (1.15x) for the last 5+ hours. Averages don't show much difference.
I Haven't tried fine tuning the frequencies though.

v03 is 1.926Gh/s
v04 is 1.942Gh/s

finally someone with a large holding, pretty much as much as I had.
I'm fucking angry, this shouldn't have happened

I opened a thread... this has been an ongoing scam for month.. and nobody said shit:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=530306.msg5896911#msg5896911

So it looks like anyone between 3.4 and 10.99 BTC likely got everything frozen?  Is that correct?

I have 2.7 BTC there and it is still frozen. Someone with 1 BTC said he his/hers is not frozen. Anyone else with 1 or more BTC and that aren't frozen?

Does anybody knows were we can keep track of the "frozen" BTCs, and how much did you guys lost? I think I may have lost 0.1 of 1.5 BTC ( I dont have my maths fully checked at the moment)

I started a thread and poll for BTC and LTC.

BTC here -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=528752.msg5871976#msg5871976

This really sucks!

I started a couple polls/threads where we can get idea of the distribution of BTC and LTC have been frozen and post when you have had your funds have been unfrozen so we can gauge the progress of the of the unfreeezing process.

47  Economy / Service Discussion / How many LTC do you have frozen in [Vircurex]? Have they been unfrozen yet? on: March 24, 2014, 12:30:10 PM
Let's try to map how many LTC we have frozen in Vircurex and post when and how much has been unfrozen.

When we get information about people having funds unfrozen, we can make better guesses about when others will have their funds unfrozen.

More info about the frozen funds here.

Ya know, I honestly dont understand that GitHub site. Am I supposed to be able to download a single file to get all those files or do I need to download them one at a time?

I've got 9 Ztex 1.15y's sitting around doing nothing. Mining blackecoin or bitcoin or whatever would at least give these things something to do....

You need a patched cgminer and the images for the ztex. Details here:

http://blakecoin.org/software/

Can be used to mine Blakecoins, Photoncoins and Federation Credits.

If anyone can put this up on the front page, I'm sure it'll help others out that are using Bitfury / Megabigpower rigs:
I have tested this out on V1, V2 and V3 M-boards and images!

HOW TO SET UP P2POOL

...SNIP....

Thanks for this!!

After some looking through the source for a few minutes a then found this post via google which confirmed my suspicions!

I have a couple DE0-Nano boards that aren't doing anything at the moment. Would you upload the code to github?

OK, will do. I only used the DE0-Nano for my early tests, so the performance is not great. Also it uses the Altera TCL mining scripts (derived from the Open Source Bitcoin Miner), so it will only work solo or with a getwork pool, not Stratum.

I'll just need to tidy it up a little and check its still working, so give me a few hours and it will go up.

Cool! I used the FPGA bitcoin miner last year!

I'll put together the Altera version later (I did my original code on a DE0-Nano as Quartus is much nicer than the Xilinx toolchain).

When I updated the client I had to change the ports, i think many people have not upgraded to the latest wallet,

I have a few nodes looking at one now with 37 connections

Thanks for mining, are you hitting blocks or are you in blue dragons pool ?

Include your wallet if you care to reply
Curious how many peers others have connected. I have only 2 but am managing to mine.
-Lyddite

I've been solo mining. Switching between Blakecoin and Photon. I have tried one of Bluedragon's pools but have found solo mining to produce about the same income, albeit with more variance.

I am bit busy trying to get this merge mining working atm

Would be nice to know more about this. I am not aware of any other coins using BLAKE-256. Is there something in the works you could tell us about?

The best block I have found so far came yesterday! :-) Keep mining.

and to put a cherry on top it is going to be merged mined at a pool level with other Blake-256 coins (pool can mine multi coins at same time e.g like BTC/NMC)

Interesting, can you elaborate on this?

I use a standard atx high current psu to power Ztex 1.15y boards, 1m USB 2.0 A to Mini B 5 pin Cables, the boards I have came with a power lead but worth asking as the Ztex boards do have a weird power connector

Thanks a lot for such info. Hope, everything would be fine with my FGPA blake miner)

Hope you will get the board used. At new prices, with the current value this would be big risk in my opinion. Of course who knows where the value will go, with BLC on coinmarketcap and several exchanges,  things are looking up.

With several FPGA boards I would say it is worth trying solo mining and pool mining and see what performs better for you.

ok... maybe a bit of patience needed...

Code:

try these peers:
