If you are hoping to make 10X on a coin look at the coins that have lost nearly 80% of its value since the crash. I bought in at Rise at 11 cents and now it's sitting pretty at 33 cents when its ATH was $1.20. I am seeing the same thing with VIBE, PRL, ELIX, and UFG. Of course, you should do your own research before buying and this is just only what I've seen.

Hell yes! Waves has been on a correction lately because of BTC. But correction comes big opportunities to buy. If you are looking for a coin that huge upswing this coin is it, but don't expect short term gains... you will win in the long run just like other coins.

You want long term coins? I am pretty majority of the people will agree here and that BTC, ETH, and NEO are the best long term holds ever in crypto. Honestly, just hold on to platform coins and you will see how far they will go in 2018-2019.

I would buy the following coins:

ADA Cardano --- Great new platform and will be the next Eth
PRL --- IOTA and ETH Ad elimination and profit
DeepOnion --- Privacy over Tor and Big Community
Syscoin --- Next big marketplace with a working product
Eth --- You know the rest

I am pretty optimistic so I am predicting after Chinese new year we will see a huge pick up of crypto. A lot of Chinese investors take 3-4 weeks off and primarily focus on family and health. Personally, I haven't traded since January 2nd, so let's see what happens.

I would look into DeepOnion constant roadmap hits and huge community. PRL solves ads by getting rid of ads and increase profitability to the site owner.

I just feel so bad for the people who got scammed on this coin. Bitconnect, Westerncoin, hextracoin, and regalcoin all stole people's hard earned money. I guess when someone promises you 1-5% a day, it is too good to be true.

Cardano will probably outperform Bitcoin in %, but it won't overtake BTC marketcap that is for certain. I am slowly adding more and more Cardano to my portfolio monthly and I can't wait to see this coin be the top.

I honestly don't see BitBay being that big that. I think it is a clone or a copy cat of Syscoin. Sysoin has been in the game way longer and they have a IPO which is being publicly traded in Canada. You should check out Syscoin and tell me your thoughts.

I hope this is true. I have some ETC hanging in my MEW at the moment. More coins means more exposure to crypto and hopefully hedge some of my other loses. I highly doubt ETC will ever hit $1 again.

You are absolutely correct Xspec stealth staking will make this privacy coin up there. I, myself, did invest in a couple hundred, but we will see what happens in a couple of months. I have high hopes for this coin because of the stealth staking but it will probably pop when it is announced but it won't beat out the top privacy coin. When you look at the community, its not as active and exchanges are pretty limited to cryptopia. We will see!

You need to be careful with altcoins because some will fail and some will be succeed. I, honestly, think the best way to make money is altcoins. The big coins are safer bets, but ultimately it is up to you.

Just hold. Bitcoin is going through a bad cycle right now... this is usually the 1st quarter of the year so yea. Happens every year... Look on the bright side, the 2nd quarter will be explosive! You only lose if you sell, remember that. Next time instead of going all in spread your entries.

I honestly think ETC is like Litecoin. It all depends on how Ethereum does. If Ethereum goes to $2k next month, you will definitely see this coin move too. When the price of ETH was at $1300 ETC was at $32, so you definitely bought in at the right price. I predict $50-60 end of 2018.

The OP is probably right. The corrections we had in July and September were nothing like this. Every week there are bad news coming out and every week we have been hitting lows after lows. I have never seen BTC lose 70% of its value before----wait yes i did in 2013 when it reached an ATH of $1400. We are in a bear market now for the next couple of months... After Chinese new year, it will not rebound, maybe slightly but not enough to recover back to its old glory. My portfolio suffered a huge hit, and I am almost about to pull out unless some miracle happens.

I think BitConnect is now one of the biggest scams in history. You knew this company was a scam after watching that BitConnect conference video giving away money left and right like it was floating out of thin air. I heard that there is a class action lawsuit against cryptonick, trevon james, and craigsmith. I hope they get what is coming to them.
