But I see that I can buy tokens on IDEX now, so can I do it? And where should I hold it? Or it's better to buy on CEX after the launch?

one of the things icon needs to get done is to finish their wallets first from beta and start using the chain as it should be. and then we need to get on Korean exchanges to get traction. from that on we only need the team to stick to the roadmap and icon will be a success story  |

i am in desperate need of merit.
84 activity but zero merit.
I want to rise in rank.and trying to write good post but im not a techie so not getting merit i guess.
And why is rising in rank so important to you? Because of the bounty program? If not, who cares what rank you have. Its not like you have any restrictions well, most of the people with those rank "problems" are people which are participating in different bounty programs. and as we all know the bountys are related to your rank. and to get merit as a new user is harder than a user who is already Member or Full Member. i wrote about the reasons why a few posts back. and not to mention that older users got their merit automatically when the merit system was introduced. so basically they could have a spam account in the history but they got lets say 100 merit. and imo to get 100 merit is almost impossible to get these days. i mean you should get merit for good posts, but to get merit someone has to give his smerit to another. so basicly almost no one will give their merit for average good posts. and to write an extraordinary post is mostly impossible to this day. i mean think about it. about the most extraordinary topics has been written on this forum a thousand times. so automatically its harder to write good posts. so to answer your post. you will hardly rank up because almost no new user has the knowledge to write good posts. all the techie crypto users are on this forum for years and to give something new and extraordinary to those old users is almost impossible. especially impossible because they have to give their smerit to you. and you can bet they will give smerit to an older higher ranking account with an average post, than to you, because they can expect to get smerit back from those older accounts because basically, you have no smerit to giveaway. |

i like the deeponion project very much. so i invested in it. i hope everything will go according to plan and roadmap. my proposal for the future would be only to make a rebrand of the project name from deeponion to something else. i know we all understand the meaning of the name and its purpose but in my opinion, if we want to get mass adoption not only in the crypto world but also to get noticed and adopted from new people that come into the cryptoworld we need a rebrand with a easier and more "shiny" name. just my five cents |

i joined the deeponion few days back. now i am staking and from day to day i am more and more impressed by the deeponion project. I think the basic fundamentals of this projects are great and i do believe in the long-term success of this project.
i just hope the team will stick to the roadmap and we are good to go.
once again good project and i have a good feeling for a longterm success.

one of the big lessons in the crypto world that you have to learn is that you don't listen to all those crypto experts on various forums, youtube channels, FB sites etc.
do your own research and invest in projects that YOU believe will succeed.
you can make notice of all those channels. but in the end, YOUR RESEARCH must say YES or NO to a project investment.

Ethos will be huge at the end of the year but now even when the wallet comes out you can not expect big price change.For sure it will go up bu i dont think so much because whole market is in not so good condition

Tokens of some projects are definitely worth saving for a long time and Ethos is one of them! I was an early investor and bought a token for 6 cents per piece - at the moment it costs $3 and this, in my opinion, is a very low price! i agree on that 100% ethos is a longterm hold. ethos is a great project and i think the end product will be also a game changer! so ethos hodlers. HODL on your coins and be patient. we have invested in a very good project with very big longterm potential. |

in a way this system is good to prevent spam. but i would make some changes to this system. like stated in another post above, i also think that is hard to achieve the merit ranks, especially for the newbies. i would bet that an old member would give more merit to older members than to newbies. this is basic psychology and also in the endgame, a older member will expect more merit from an older member then from a newbie. why? simple. a full member has lets say 200 merit and 100 merit to give a way. a newbie has 10merit and 5 merit to give away. so what do you think of whom you will have greater chances to receive merit? and btw this is not my original account. my original sr. member account got hacked so now I am a junior First did you try to recover that account by following all the required steps. Now regarding this behaviors that you mentioned is something related to expecting merits from the member to who you are giving. I am not a senior member or one with any friends here but I think that human emotions may compel some people to do so. One should still ensure that the merits are being sent to deserving posts only. May be the admin makes changes to the system so that new members can also earn merits easily. yes. couldn't retrieve my account, just blocked it for further use. but i don't mind. don't care much about ranks. but in a way its funny to have a jr rank and being on this forum from before the mt gox hack 5years back |
