41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain L3+ Voltage Control Tool...Free :) on: May 12, 2018, 05:01:45 AM
I have try on A3 but use a different PIC and I get:

root@antMiner_A3:/config# ./set_voltage 1 90

 version = 0xff
Wrong PIC version

Is it possible update the code in order to support A3 PIC ?

thx

Ill check the A3 and see if I can get it to work, S9 uses completely proprietary stuff on hardware and software level now so without reverse engineering it wont be possible. Im pretty sure the S9 already does auto voltage tuning anyway.

Hi jstefanop,

Thanks for your effort and opensource tool!!
I tried it on A3 but I only get 0xff for PIC version and for voltage!
This is not possible, I haven‘t set the voltage at this point, as read pic
delivers 0xff... any thoughs about that?
Maybe other pic addresses?

Hi guys,

I ask again, could somebody with a D3 be so nice and post
a hex dump of the PIC16F1704?

Thanks and bye, FNT

Hi!

does anybody has a hex dump of the D3 PIC PIC16F1704?

Thanks and bye, FNT

mined SIAs: I sold some of the coins, and hold some of the coins -> diversification.

45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Antminer A3 - Hashboard on: March 07, 2018, 09:40:03 AM
Hi guys,

as nobody posted some pictures of the hashboard of the Antminer A3 I'm going to do this for information.
As you can see this is one hashboard, front and back.
PIC16F1704 is on it and also the ADP BEN+ (PWM controlling for MosFET?) and - I think so - an Infinion MosFET - 0901NS
(https://www.infineon.com/dgdl/Infineon-BSC0901NS-DS-v02_01-en.pdf?fileId=db3a30432c64a60d012cbc8040080376
any! datasheet) if I'm not complety wrong. Also some pins for the ICSP programming.

Maybe some of you also want to tell us about the rest of this stuff on it... and/or has some infos and datasheets?

Bye, FNT

Batch one -> 10 day shipping (~Jan.20) ~ 2300USD
Batch two -> 15-22 March shipping ~ 980USD

Batch three? newer read about it until yet...

Hi,

@notfuzzywarm: not that miner, as hashboard is here on the table,
all pools set to mine. It's an other ant45s7.

Any hints about the PIC?

Hi sidehack,

Thanks for replay... and sorry for off topic posting.
I checked the post of D3 completly, but I found no hex file of D3.

About the S7, how have you made the settings in the hex file for the S7?
Have you just modified the memory where the voltage settings are stored or did you
have done the work from scratch do code the voltage settings?

Thanks for info!

SSH... of course you need linux.
Plain and simple...

Hi guys,

I'd like to get the PIC hex code of the D3, as it's here for the L3+.
Could anybody please send me the HEX file for PIC from a D3? or tell me where to find?

Thanks and bye, FNT
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone else having issues with their Antminer A3? on: February 24, 2018, 09:03:56 AM
Hi!

What does bitmain say?

Looks like "hashboard1" (=0) is not found or better the Asics.

check_asic_reg: Chain0 has 0 ASICs
check_asic_reg: Chain1 has 60 ASICs
check_asic_reg: Chain2 has 60 ASICs

Psu: Everything pluged in and power supply is ok? Which one you use?
What if you change psu plugs for hashboard?

I think that's no new firmware. It's the actual, as compile version is 29.12.2017...

53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PASCAL A1 ASIC MINER project on: February 19, 2018, 10:32:26 AM
Hi!

Interessting, how can you make a miner which mines a lot of different algos with an ASIC? (with good KWh/hashrate)
Do you use FPGA? How about hashrate?

But the main question for me is: Which chip are you going to use?

Thanks and bye, FNT

anybody got the "SIA version" of the cgminer - blake2b, which is actualy used in Antminer A3?

Thanks for help and info!

I'd like to see which PIC,etc they are using.

Hi!

There is/should be one on the board (beagleboard black) at the opposite side under the metal plate cover... ;-)

Edit: of course you're searching for a micro SD slot... ;-)

Hi!

500 USD a day, was for some day in mid Jan. when "nobody" had the A3.
Now you get about 65-70 SIA per hour...

Hi!

@Kurmi:
I'm not quite sure, but I think you have to modify this at cgminer code not in cgminer.conf

"Custom" software, so own compiled version of cgminer would be easier when bitmain release the cgminer sia - blake GPL version...

btw, anybody read the manual of A3 and info about DC/DC converter:
BM: "The miner does not contain a DC/DC converter; therefore, higher input voltage will cause higher Mining efficiency."

Seems to me like "old" S7, which had no DC/DC converter on board, which means no voltage regulation via software...
maybe I'm wrong.
