Investing in something is always a gamble to some extent since we can't really predict the future of a coin or any investment for that matter. It's on us to manage risk.

It has the potential of actually making you rich by investing in it. But, it still depends on how much you are willing to risk since possibly losing money is a reality in investing.

I don't think all our govts can trust an unregulated and decentralized currency. It's just not that easy to do! A lot may think that the govt is bad or has ill intentions for us, but the truth, they also need our taxes to pay for development and govt jobs.

Since the public market doesn't have really much used for ETH as of this time, I highly doubt it would surpass Bitcoin's price for no reason. Ripple has a better chance than ETH, in my honest opinion.

It's price is relative to demand, but I believe that Bitcoin's true value will only be realized once it has perfected its flaws in terms of the long confirmation time as well as the fees it is giving its users.

While the gap between btc and alt coins is getting closer, I still doubt that any of them would surpass the popularity that bitcoin has.

I don't really spend Bitcoins directly, but I exchange it to currency and then pay bills, buy groceries, the usual stuff.

Good for you. You might want to hold onto it as price could spike up sooner or later.

It is no doubt that ETH is a good alt coin. It is indeed slow moving, but will always be consistent and stable.

Do you guys billieve that bitcoin will become the only one currency that can use as a mode of payment in the whole world? How is this become posible in the future?
I do believe so. If bitcoins are now accepted as a worldwide medium for payment, sooner or later, the whole world will band together and end wars and stuffs. But I do believe bitcoins cam unite the world as a whole. Bitcoins serve as a unification of the whole cash system of the world. Governments would never allow this at least for now. How can they control the people if they don't control its cash flow?

It would be best not to simply base your decision on the price, but also the trend and news.

Many countries only have support for Bitcoin wallets. However, soon this will change, and people can finally choose which coin to buy primarily.

I don't think Bitcoin will crash yet at this time. Though many have entered the Crypto world through Bitcoin, many are also fed up with the high fees and 1-2 week confirmation time.

Sold my Bitcoins to diversify into different trusted alt coins. I think alt coins are cheap enough right now so I took my chances.

Well, what we think of as the 'right coin' might not turn out as planned. We can never know what will happen until it happens.

Corrections can happen any day of the year. I don't see a direct correlation between Bitcoin and Holidays.

Used my profit from Bitcoin to pay the bills as usual. That's why I invested in the first place, to help me out with future expenses.

Bitcoin might continue a bit of its up move, but I don't think it will gain as much in percentage compared to how it performed previously.
|
|
|
There is a high probability that ETH will indeed hit $1,000 or even more sooner or later. It's just a bit delayed compared to other alts, but it's a top performer regardless.

I agree that gaining some $ through price appreciation is possible and would definitely go for risking a few bucks on this hard fork.
