41  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: January 09, 2018, 11:31:26 AM
Used to be for fun at first and I didn't think of it becoming an addiction or anything, time eventually came when I got myself too deep into gambling than I would have wanted. Got addicted as my main goal was to earn whatever fraction of the amount I have lost. Yes, I have lost a lot more than gained.
42  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin fall again soon? on: January 08, 2018, 03:21:08 PM
I would wait until Bitcoin stays at a certain price level for a couple of days. It could mean that a support has been established and is relatively 'safer' to buy than when free-falling.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum 2k USD in February? on: January 07, 2018, 09:19:05 AM
I actually would hope not and prefer that ETH move in a slow yet steady manner. It is best to keep prices stable and non-volatile to attract more and more investors to keep buying up.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Poloniex Preparing for an Exit Scam! DO _NOT_ SEND COINS THERE! on: January 06, 2018, 04:14:06 PM
Damn. In situations like these, there are no agencies to run to being non-regulated and all. This makes me really think twice about Crypto trading platforms. I have a few XRP and Burst sitting on my Poloniex account and guess I'll have to run away with them soon.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: eth going strong on: January 05, 2018, 12:43:33 PM
Since ETH doesn't have so much interesting news or popularity for that matter, its price is just going steady. Not too much risk, but not too much potential gains either.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple is gonna take over Bitcoin on: January 04, 2018, 03:18:13 PM
At this time, bankers have all the funds to pump prices up and not to mention retail investors and traders who are willing to buy just to ride the trend. Ripple poses as a threat to Bitcoin indeed.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mytherwallet is hacked on: December 31, 2017, 03:00:49 PM
I totally agree. If you'd prefer a less expensive way, you can use several wallets and spread your funds.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Ethereum only $730? on: December 31, 2017, 01:23:00 PM
It has generally been in an upward trend and so far I don't see signs of it weakening at all. Very very nice for a long term hold.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Ethereum only $730? on: December 31, 2017, 01:02:58 PM
It's true that the price of ETH is not really concerning nor should it be taken negatively. It's price is constantly increasing with less volatility which is a very good long term investment.
50  Other / Off-topic / Re: Purpose of life on: December 31, 2017, 12:49:45 PM
I think that we're merely here to live and die. I think our purpose lies beyond our lives here.
51  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best time to sell? on: December 31, 2017, 12:40:42 PM
Best time to sell if price hits your trailing stop or stop loss point. Only you can determine this since everyone buys at different levels.
52  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you want to live? on: December 31, 2017, 12:31:25 PM
Living is definitely enjoyable if we don't take the problems of life too seriously. Just being with your family or playing some games you love is worth the time here.
53  Economy / Economics / Re: When is the right time to buy bitcoin ? on: December 31, 2017, 12:20:36 PM
Finding out the right time should be based on your own due diligence. No one can tell you what to do just like you can't blame anyone else for your mistakes but yourself.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: December 31, 2017, 12:07:52 PM
So far, ETH has been very stable and less volatile which is good for long term holders. It may not become as hyped or used as Bitcoin, but it is a very good coin to park your money.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The bitcoiners mentality on: December 31, 2017, 11:46:43 AM
I sincerely agree to the OP. Bitcoin is not merely about price action. Improvement points have been identified and hopefully will be improved or we risk losing investors and even traders of the currency.
56  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I always lose all my tokens and btc on gambling~ on: December 31, 2017, 11:32:21 AM
You probably would have done better had you invested or even traded your coins instead of gambling. I hope that you learned your lesson though as it can't be helped, what happened can't be undone.
57  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's happening to Bitcoin? on: December 30, 2017, 08:53:30 AM
This could be a correction, or an actual repricing as a lot of people might have realized Bitcoin's disadvantages, ie. fees and confirmation time.
58  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's a reasonable amount you can make per month trading Crypto long term? on: December 30, 2017, 08:48:02 AM
My targets for slow movers are usually at least 15-20% gains through time. For quick trades, I can get anywhere from 3% to 10%.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Explanation for ripple price increase? on: December 30, 2017, 08:45:37 AM
There is reason to believe that banksters might be pumping up the price. Let's be very careful on this one. We might see dumping soon.
60  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: December 30, 2017, 08:41:33 AM
Risking you money in bluechips is a lot better than saving it in your bank. Growth is not 100% guaranteed, but gains are very much probable.
