Used to be for fun at first and I didn't think of it becoming an addiction or anything, time eventually came when I got myself too deep into gambling than I would have wanted. Got addicted as my main goal was to earn whatever fraction of the amount I have lost. Yes, I have lost a lot more than gained.

I would wait until Bitcoin stays at a certain price level for a couple of days. It could mean that a support has been established and is relatively 'safer' to buy than when free-falling.

I actually would hope not and prefer that ETH move in a slow yet steady manner. It is best to keep prices stable and non-volatile to attract more and more investors to keep buying up.

Damn. In situations like these, there are no agencies to run to being non-regulated and all. This makes me really think twice about Crypto trading platforms. I have a few XRP and Burst sitting on my Poloniex account and guess I'll have to run away with them soon.

Since ETH doesn't have so much interesting news or popularity for that matter, its price is just going steady. Not too much risk, but not too much potential gains either.

At this time, bankers have all the funds to pump prices up and not to mention retail investors and traders who are willing to buy just to ride the trend. Ripple poses as a threat to Bitcoin indeed.

I totally agree. If you'd prefer a less expensive way, you can use several wallets and spread your funds.

It has generally been in an upward trend and so far I don't see signs of it weakening at all. Very very nice for a long term hold.

It's true that the price of ETH is not really concerning nor should it be taken negatively. It's price is constantly increasing with less volatility which is a very good long term investment.

I think that we're merely here to live and die. I think our purpose lies beyond our lives here.

Best time to sell if price hits your trailing stop or stop loss point. Only you can determine this since everyone buys at different levels.

Living is definitely enjoyable if we don't take the problems of life too seriously. Just being with your family or playing some games you love is worth the time here.

Finding out the right time should be based on your own due diligence. No one can tell you what to do just like you can't blame anyone else for your mistakes but yourself.

So far, ETH has been very stable and less volatile which is good for long term holders. It may not become as hyped or used as Bitcoin, but it is a very good coin to park your money.

I sincerely agree to the OP. Bitcoin is not merely about price action. Improvement points have been identified and hopefully will be improved or we risk losing investors and even traders of the currency.

You probably would have done better had you invested or even traded your coins instead of gambling. I hope that you learned your lesson though as it can't be helped, what happened can't be undone.

This could be a correction, or an actual repricing as a lot of people might have realized Bitcoin's disadvantages, ie. fees and confirmation time.

My targets for slow movers are usually at least 15-20% gains through time. For quick trades, I can get anywhere from 3% to 10%.

There is reason to believe that banksters might be pumping up the price. Let's be very careful on this one. We might see dumping soon.

Risking you money in bluechips is a lot better than saving it in your bank. Growth is not 100% guaranteed, but gains are very much probable.
