If you look at the image from this link... https://forum.ethereum.org/discussion/9443/bricked-your-rx-480-due-to-bad-flash Pins 1 and 5 are being annotated...but they are calling it 1 and 8. Also, the jumper is temporary so I myself would not solder it.

The 'dot' is pin 1 and then they circle around. 8 is opposite 1. You can buy a clip that fits over the chip and then use a jumper so you don't have to solder.

I had to spend time searching for the best -h value for each of my 580s. I ended up with quite different values for different 580 cards. The difference in hash rate using claymore was huge...

I've found it to be profitable currently. I'm getting ~2.2+ KH/S from: Older Dell T7500 dual XEON + 2 RX 580s doing both CPU and GPU. Using 480 Watts at the wall at just under 7 cents per KWH I have a low initial investment though cause I only had to buy one GPU ($260)

Excellent guide, thank you! With 580 x2 (1 Samsung - 1 Hynix) went from ~1280 h/s to ~1683 h/s Biggest gains came from the Samsung using Uber 3.1 Just getting started...soon as I earn some coin I'll buy you a beer!!!! Thanks again for the guide.
