Bump! Only cause it's relevant right now. Wink (might've posted this in the wrong sub-forum, my bad)

The lack of consumer confidence in this stock is amazing, if anyone wants to liquidate their stocks at $0.05 AUD or USD then feel free to pm me and we can work out an arrangement Smiley. It's a much better offer then what's happening on the market right now Wink
I guess this offer is still up! Obviously, I forgot; payment will be made via paypal. Cool

So...does it mean we won't have 20TH within two weeks?
Two weeks would mean it'll be October already, there's a possibility that they'll be able to hit 20TH within two weeks however, that possibility will be slim given their record.

Please keep quite if you know nothing about what happened, or you can just read all the posts from TheSwede and labcoin before talking. Just a gentle reminder for your good. You really don't know what happened.
If you look closely, I assure you. I said, the possibility will be slim. For a fact, I do know what's happening, and look what I say are based on how I see things, these can conflict with the majority for all I care. I've been following posts from TheSwede and labcoin, they've made promises in the past, they've broken promises in the past - that's nothing new. The recent update is just a re-assurance they're working on something as we speak, all I did was state the possibility of the hashing being able to hit 20TH is slim (just incase - slim refers to 'poor or inferior' according to dictionary.com). Surely, that makes sense, right? Nothing is impossible, the possibility of achieving a goal depends on the amount of effort you put into it, as low as it may be - atleast it's there.
Yes, my bad. Actually I've already deleted my post after I realized my overlooking.
No worries Smiley.

This post is simply how I see it, in no way am I defending Labcoin or their board members, however that is up to you and you are entitled to your own opinion.

I may not be a big investor in this company, 1 - 2 BTC doesn't mean much to me however it seems like with all these comments that you guys are. While you are entitled to your own opinion, as am I, there's not much you can't do much at this point other then just sit back and relax. Complaining and hurdling threats at a PR is simply astonishing, all he is doing is updating us investors with information he receives from the board (surely, a PR can't lie when he's simply reiterating what hes been told right?).  Reading some of the recent comments on this thread made me realise we have some upcoming bright 'lawyers', correct me if I'm wrong however considering that you know soo much about the law (I'm not criticising, though it may seem like I am), why would you continue to invest in something that is in the grey or black (?). (damn, I really do sound like I'm criticising now. sigh)

Investing in anything comes at a great risk hence this forum emphasises 'caveat emptor', I'm sure many of you read that before investing in an upcoming business with no background (right?!).
Lets face it, generally speaking. There is nothing we can do other then to try and relax; taking one deep breath (yea, don't bother exhaling) kidding! and exhaling, just sit back and relax. The stock value at this rate is simply low. Complaining isn't going to do much, so why not save the effort and just let things take their pace. Whether you win or lose in this investment is a matter of chance Smiley

UPDATE
Hashing rate will be visible again on the pool in about one hour, we are having again stability issue, working on that.
Regarding the share transfer, we are still waiting for a final reply from Bitfunder.
Again,we remind everyone that we will bring online about 20 TH within October.
Thanks for the update!

How do I get my Labcoin shares out of BTCT before the shut down?

Sell them, or trust labcoin to change them to be direct shares, before they can find a new exchange.

So there is currently no procedure for this?
There's no current procedure for this however labcoin did state that all shares will be converted to direct shares before the 31st October (correct me if I'm wrong).
49  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 26, 2013, 08:10:37 AM
I am expecting a statement about this from 'labcoin'. There's no way to hide this news any more. The chaos caused by the leave of a key technician is understandable, but it is really important for us to know how they handle it and whether they have found a good replacement.

I'm not worried about them responding, I'm worried about them telling the truth when they do.

They have to respond or their precious stock price will bottom out.
Whether or not the stock price crashes depends on the move to a new exchange, right now people are panicking whether or not to keep their stocks since there have been no news about a potential new home for Labcoin. Direct shares are good but given the amount of shares sold 7m including 3m (.75 left .25 sold), it would be extremely difficult to manually distribute dividends (assumption). Obviously with that stated, any news of a new exchange given confirmation by labcoin himself would see a rise to share prices as they were before the notice of BTC-TC closure.

Consumer confidence is at an all time low with the slow response of a new exchange, that's obviously a given.

The low price isn't solely bcz of BTC-TC closure, it's more bcz of their broken promise again.
UPDATE:

According to Sam, more hash rate will be deployed daily.

so "any news of a new exchange given confirmation by labcoin himself would see a rise to share prices as they were before the notice of BTC-TC closure." will not happen.
Each to their own opinion. I only speculate on nothing more then the closure of an exchange with what I've written. Consumer confidence is highly depicted on the stability of an exchange, which means securities benefit if an exchange is stable.
It's true that they've failed to deliver in the past given their promises however if we take the recent dividends payment into consideration (which isn't much) and the fact that they've started hashing (which has dropped out of the listing numerous times). You can safely assume they've started 'something' with their operations.

I am nothing more then a person with an interest in this company, anything I say is entirely my own opinion which may or may not differ from the rest of the stakeholders.

Either my math is off or you are mistaken.  Isn't .001 btc about $.125?  And that would make your offer about 40% of the current price?
Nah, your math isn't off. It's just an intentional under-priced offer for those panic sellers.

So you mean, it is a much better offer for you, not the seller.  Lips sealed
Spot on! Cheesy

I just wanted to pop in and say that the times that Labcoin 'disappears' from the team ranking at BTCguild.com is due to variance in hash rate and possible software tweaking. The asset is hashing and more hash rate is scheduled to go online shortly. Personally I am working on finding the best possible exchange and method for transferring shares to another marketplace outside of BTCT.CO.

This is all the info I can provide right now, but essentially nothing has changed since the last update.
Any update is good in my books +1

D'oh!

Thanks Smiley

We have to be very patient with Labcoin...  Smiley
Patience is a virtue.

0.20678542 BTC   previous was 0.18450773 BTC .
Could this finally be the promised daily upgrade ?
If it is, then my speculations are right. They're definitely hashing their other miners under a different team name though speculations are speculations. Looking forward to a word from labcoin or TheSwede regarding the current status of their operations.
56  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 25, 2013, 01:04:02 PM

Basically, if you've held to 0.0011, you'll keep holding until there's no hope left. You're pretty much FUD immune if you're still in at this point.
+1

I think this deserves a praise, first time they didn't miss a deadline in the last days.. Grin
Agreed!

They're still receiving payouts from BTCguild but their name is no longer in the top 25.  This means they've split their hash between 2 or more 'teams' (probably for testing) and set the payout address on all their teams to the same one.
I have my suspicions on which teams they're currently using but I would have to agree with this. It seems more or less like they're testing, hoping to see an update from either labcoin or TheSwede75 in regards to what's happening overall.
58  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 24, 2013, 05:21:12 PM
Yay dividends! But why aren't they hashing??
They might be hashing under a different name, or they're testing something. The recent payments on blockchain seem to indicate they're still hashing at the same rate as before they were removed from the list. Weird.
59  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 24, 2013, 05:10:04 PM
Before the FUDsters that sold before the dividend come out of the woodwork, lets just take one bit of information and let it sink in.

Already the dividend is 147 satoshi, this is the lowest dividend you will ever receive as hash rate will expand faster than the network from here on out.

Let the good times come!

Also, people need to keep in mind that Divs are paid bi-weekly.  I'm not sure when they started hashing between 800GH - 1TH, but it certainly has not been for the last two weeks.  Even if their hash rate did not go up, the next should be higher.
Well, if you take a look at the blockchain payment dates. They started receiving payments a week ago from today, so assuming that everything goes well with the hashing starting today, we can expect 2 - 2.5x the current dividends (however, that would depend on multiple factors).
60  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 24, 2013, 04:55:30 PM
This is it guys, we are the new rich!!

฿ 0.00000147 per share, oh boy, feels like ActiveMining, let the dozens of Satoshis flow...

Now serious, shouldn't the dividend distribution be halted until this BTCTC mess be resolved?

This people at Labcoin doesn't say anything, do we have options?
All btct shares will be converted to direct shares as soon as we receive official communication from Ethan Burnside before 31 October.
Dividends will be paid regularly until the btct platform is available.
I assume he meant, dividends will continue to be paid on the exchange until further notice (?)
