Stellite still collapses  Angry
฿ 0.00000003

Heeey dev team, go go goo..

We don't decide the price that is something the market does.
Perhaps good moment to buy cheap ;-)
When someone sells a lot of coins he decide the price. Especially when we see so low demand and low trade volume. Do you like such a low price? What are you, guys, going to do? Or is it the end, time to sell pre-mine and release new shit coin?

I don't know the true reason, but i noticed many times that after the fork coins lose their values. It's kinda law.

Hi, I wanted to synchronize the old version but it does not happen
it means that the purse can not be restored?
My wallet version v0.14.1.6 is perfectly synchronized and fully functional. While exchanges and pools are working with old versions of wallets, I will not switch to new versions.
I totally agree! Don't see any reason to change it now.

Stellite lose their price too fast. It scares... I saw it many times. The coin price is less and less and then the coin becomes almost dead. It happened often especially after the fork. But if you like to risk, then you can fill your bags cheaply.

I sold half of what i had. And I'll be glad if i'm wrong.

Парни, новых нод нет? Че-то орфаны прям задрали - больше половины. Я кстати так и не понял в конфиг файле просто список IP (как в первом посте ANN thread) или с указанием портов через двоеточие?

Как правильно
addnode=90.120.86.16:17461
или
addnode=90.120.86.16
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀 [ANN][TWIST] TWIST : Revolutionising Blockchain Accessibility 🚀 on: July 12, 2018, 05:08:01 PM
I wish i didnt sell my stake @ 65 lol, i wish i sold it @ 120 too bad  Grin But its ok i can still earn it by staking

same here, due to RBI B*** i had to sell some of my bag to withdraw before they block it here, but still have a small bag staking

but will surely get my old big bag back if this RBI thingy gets solved by 20th July
What are you talking about, guys? What is RBI?

I downloaded and installed the latest version of the wallet. It looks much more attractive than the old versions and I found many useful and convenient functions in it.  I really liked the links to exchanges and social accounts - it's very convenient!

There is one question that confused me. My balance is displayed correctly, but I do not have new addresses (it looks like this: 3QJmnh). What actions should I take to convert old ones?
Same to me. No new addresses.

crex24 xtl wallet under maintenance too.

Recommended tx fees in the new version is 0.02BTX/kb again... Where is "lowest transaction fee" bla-bla-bla? Who posted a tx fee comparation here? You are wrong now.

My new wallet says "recommended tx fee .001 BTX"
In my 0.15.1 wallet i see only 0.02BTX as a recommended tx fee  Huh

By the way, after upgrade, in receive addresses i don't see any addresses. Should I create a new one? I thought there should be my converted addresses.

From Ivo : About Private Key Change -

"If you generate a new address on your wallet, use the converter to convert to old style address and send the coins.
If you reuse an old address that was already in your wallet before you upgraded, you can still send the coins there and they will show up..

The thing to remember is that the private keys remain the same, just the way the public address is shown changed

So if the private key is in your wallet.dat ; you are fine"
ok. if i get this right, i can send coins from my new address to an old style adresses just converting the old address to a new style?
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - Are you ready for the future? on: July 04, 2018, 02:15:34 PM
What should I do if I want to send my coins to the exchange after upgrade the public key? The addresses on the exchange have not been updated yet.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POW][XTL] 👾Stellite👾 - decentralized node list via IPFS & ZeroNet on: June 25, 2018, 06:15:43 PM
I download the wallet, let it sync.
however, how long will it take to see my deposited coins appear in the wallet after mining pools sent my mining rewards to my windows wallet?
How many confirmations needed?
If your wallet is fully synced, you'll receive coins from the pool in 10-15 minutes. But it also depends on the pool. I get my reward very fast from the cryptoknight.cc . Like i said it's 10-15 minutes.

In previous versions of the stellite wallet 6 confirmations were required for the coins to be unlocked. The latest version does not display the number of confirmations.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POW][XTL] 👾Stellite👾 - decentralized node list via IPFS & ZeroNet on: June 19, 2018, 12:34:35 PM
I thought that the recent fork should make the transaction faster and cheaper. And even with so high fee I'm waiting more than two hours for the coins to come to the exchange Smiley

Can someone explain to me why in the transaction details displays not my wallet address. I was not mistaken, i checked twice when i sent the coins. I inserted correct wallet address. But in the transactions details i see another address.

Ok. I think i know what's going on. Crex24 increased the number of confirmations. Or has it always be so?  Now it needs 200 confirmations. Coins is in my exchange wallet but it do not have enough confirmations.

55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POW][XTL] 👾Stellite👾 - decentralized node list via IPFS & ZeroNet on: June 19, 2018, 12:11:16 PM
What has happened to transaction fee? I noticed that it increased. "Normal" comission in the new wallet is too high. Now we pay 12-13xtl for each 1000xtl or 1.3%. Can i use the low fee? Сan a low fee guarantee a transaction confirmation? A low fee is 20 times lower (0.6xtl).

It seems like since the fork the daemon has some hickups. It often switches between "synced" and "xxx blocks behind" and I think the reason is, that there are still "old" nodes in the network.
Is there any way to either auto-ban nodes that are on a wrong version OR have the daemon start with a reliable up-to-date node in exclusive mode (maybe through something like --add-exclusive-node [IP])?

I'm getting the same issue.  It's been doing this for past few days.  I've tried the new GUI and new CLI and even recreated my wallet using my seed words.  It's been syncing for over 24hours now and the number of blocks behind seems to be going up
Same to me. From time to time the wallet is freezes, not syncing, and switches between synced and xxx blocks behind, as written in the quotation.

How about the blockchain? Should I resync the blockchain after update the wallet? And when will the wallet and miner be relesed?

Check this ann from discord

"Dear Community, as you are aware, we are preparing for the Hard-Fork that will deliver the Mercury V5 Release. This will introduce, at block height 300k,
-    The brand new Phi2 Algorithm
-    SegWit
-    Smart Contracts
-    Hybrid Masternodes
-    Block Pruning
In preparation of this major change, we plan to take a safe approach to the release.  To ensure safety, we will take a snapshot of the chain at 299500 as planned for now. This will help in the unlikely event of an issue and a roll back is required.

We have been in touch with the various pool ops and will provide the pools with the correct compile code to switch to the new protocol after 299500 block height.

Wallets for the community will be released along with the switch for pools.

During this period, please ensure you back up your wallets.
Here are the steps to follow before you get the new wallets.
1.    Close current wallet.
2.    Backup your wallet.dat file and save it in a safe location (either use the wallet functionality to backup or save it manually)
For Windows systems go to %appdata%\LUX
For Linux systems go to ~home/.lux
For Mac systems go to ~/Library/Application Support/Lux
3.    Install the new wallet.
4.    Start the new wallet.
5.    If the wallet crashes on restart, go to your LUX data directory and delete everything except wallet.dat and the Backup folder. (guide for reset: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/388703503973089301/432195164379938817/LUX_QT_Reset_Upgrade_v0.1.pdf)
6.    Restart wallet, let the new wallet sync.
7.    You are good to go
"

Also

"The new features will come into effect at block height 300k. This gives you a 500 block gap to upgrade to the new wallet. As we switch to the new network at 299500 , please note that rewards will be valid after you complete your upgrade.

Final tests are being performed as we speak in prep for 299500 switch over. Any changes due to any unforeseen issues, we shall keep everyone updated.

Thank you for your patience!  MERCURYCOMING!
"
Thanks.

all became clear.

Highlights for V4 include:

* Changed Proof-of-Work algorithm to our custom XTL variant 2
* An improved Difficulty Adjustment Algorithm (DAA)
* A bump in minimum network fee and increased median blocksize limit

With this release we added a new `stellite-blockchain-downloader` tool. This tool downloads and imports the
latest available blockchain file so you don't have to sync from block 0.

https://github.com/stellitecoin/Stellite/releases/tag/1.2.4.0
https://github.com/stellitecoin/StelliteGUI/releases/tag/v1.0.0
https://github.com/stellitecoin/GUI-miner
https://github.com/stellitecoin/xtl-stak/releases
https://github.com/stellitecoin/xtlrig/releases

Has anyone managed to run xtlrig?

"variant": XTL or xtl doesn't work, "variant": 2 also doesn't work — miner just won't accept these values and won't even start.. The miner does start with "variant": 1, but it's the old algo so no shares are accepted. How are we supposed to specify this new PoW algo?
As you can see on this web page https://github.com/stellitecoin/xtlrig/releases you should "update the variant to xtl (previously it was 1)"
Just add the "" symbols on the left and on the right around xtl, just like here "variant": "xtl"

Block 194605 has just matured. It took about an hour.

Seems that everything works fine.
