41  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency wallets: Can they be hacked?? on: July 12, 2018, 03:30:11 AM
Absolutely! Nothing is safe nowadays. Impossible things for ordinary people like us, were always possible to hackers. Speaking from my own experience, my wallet was hacked just about 2 months ago. To think that i was very very cautious in handling my wallet and yet, a total stranger benefited from my hard earned tokens. If execrating can kill, that hacker would be dead by now.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin become an asset on: July 12, 2018, 01:34:43 AM
High level of volatility engulfs bitcoin. This is why i do most certainly believe that bitcoin is an asset and not a currency. For bitcoin to be considered a currency, it should be easy to use for everyday transactions, which clearly it is not.

43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: All my money in 1 altcoin - Too risky? on: June 02, 2018, 01:42:06 AM
Hi,
the altocoin market is so variuous and there are dozen of interesting projects that can be supported.

But  i'm a little investor (500$) and i'm seriously thinking to put all my money in only 1 project I think is very good which curretly is in the top 40 of altcoins. I don't want to say the name because my topic wants to be very general: what do you think is the risk  by doing so? Should I invest in 2 or 3 coins instead?

Thanks

Evidently risky. Even though as you said, you're a little investor, don't place in all your money to a single project. Please diversify. Do invest in 2 coins. It is undoubtedly the most sensible thing to do. By diversifying, the probability of securing huge profits were most high.
44  Economy / Economics / Re: Is NOW the best time to buy or enter in bitcoin? on: June 02, 2018, 12:18:26 AM
Truly OP, this is such an excellent time to buy those bitcoins. Price of bitcoin is below $8K. I do believe that before we reach the "Ber months" (Sept., Oct., Nov. and Dec.), it's price will ascend to a much profitable one. Afterall, bitcoin is still the funding tube for everything else in the ecosystem. And thus fitted to be called the "King".
45  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Biggest Problem of your Country ?? on: June 01, 2018, 11:38:27 PM
Based on the 2015 Global Satisfaction conducted by Waze, Metro Manila has the "worst traffic on Earth". Based on the 2015 Census of population by the Philippine Statistic Authority, Metro Manila was listed as being the most dense city in the world based on population density.
So now should i even have to tell you that "TRAFFIC" is the worst problem in my country (Philippines). There were many countermeasures the Philippine government are implementing. One of which is "The Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program (UVVRP)". More commonly referred to as the “color coding” or “number coding” system. But poor enforcement of traffic rules and the overlapping functions of government institutions only worsen the situation. I long for the day that i can never experience a traffic here. Will that day ever come???
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What do Altcoins offer that Bitcoin does not? on: June 01, 2018, 03:30:38 PM
Altcoins possess much of the same applicability of Bitcoin but many offer something else as well. Some of them are faster, some are more anonymous, some provide better investment options, some are more volatile and thus are more advantageous in terms of trading.
I have high regards that Altcoins surely outpass Bitcoins in many ways. What do you think guys?
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How do I know a bounty program is good? on: May 13, 2018, 09:41:36 AM
I see a lot of bounty programs on the BCT, but I do not know which bounty program is good, there are many fraud programs. Can you  give me advice ?

OP, i highly suggest to you to first and foremost to scrutinize the bounty managers name. If a bounty campaign is administer by a highly regarded and well respected bounty manager, that campaign is without a doubt good. In my own experience, they also see to it that we were paid accordingly. I must say that with a good bounty manager, you are in good hands. But then again i reiterate that this was base on my own experience.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Third Quarter is coming on: May 13, 2018, 08:04:04 AM
The third quarter of the year is coming! What are your speculations about bitcoin and altcoins?

I am hopeful that third quarter will bring a considerable good happenings to all cryptocurrencies. Market value of bitcoin will gradually step up to the ladder one step at a time. And be assure that altcoins price is there to follow. All aiming for the highest step.

49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hold your ETH until cross 1k on: May 12, 2018, 08:04:00 PM
A financial analyst predicted that ETH will hit a remarkable upswing price of $2500 by the end of this year. This was quite a prognosis. I'm keeping my fingers cross to this one. Forecasts like this one certainly gives us more reason to hold tight those ETH.
50  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoint to $1,800 USD by end of 2018 on: May 12, 2018, 06:19:07 PM
What??? Highly dubious and too far-fetched to happen. I very much doubt it that anything like that will happen. I particularly would like to see bitcoins value in an upward trend by the end of this year. I do feel that it seemed likely to hit $20k or more.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market does not look good! on: May 12, 2018, 03:40:55 PM
If BTC goes below 9K many coins will go down big time!
Be careful!

By now we all know that Bitcoins price went below $9k and sure enough, altcoins too. But when Bitcoin spikes, dozens of other cryptocurrencies violently gap to new heights too. I always have this question in my mind, as to why altcoins price seems to follow bitcoins. Would you?
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if you forget your bitcoin wallet password? on: May 12, 2018, 01:57:10 PM
It's a shame for bitcoin users to forget such very important informations. Better hire an internet expert, they may have some ways in retrieving those passwords. But we can always avoid something like this to happen. For me, I have this habit in writing down everything. I really cannot trust my memory. That's why i jot down all the informations in my bitcoin dealings, in order to never forget a single thing. To tell you all the truth, i've made 2 copies just in case.
53  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC almost break 10k on: May 10, 2018, 07:45:32 AM
BTC almost break 10k now what will be next ?

Yes it almost did. $9,900+ was really something. I was so excited that i actually nailed myself in front of my notebook. But then it's nature took it's course. Volatility is in fact a major problem in the cryptocurrency markets that we have absolutely no capability to stop or redirect. Sooner or later bitcoins price will eventually cross that barrier line.

54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple Future on: May 10, 2018, 06:36:51 AM
Ripple is a transaction system that offers lightning-fast, secure transactions. This is the very reason that major banks are coming on board to back it up, which means this cryptocurrency has a future lined up for itself. The problem, however, is that Ripple coin lacks fundamentals to base a valuation on.
Ripple is surely a good investment, just not a long-term one.

55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is going to replace bitcoin? on: May 10, 2018, 04:33:41 AM
The future is uncertain, but at present Bitcoin still remains the greatest cryptocurrency. However, some analysts distinguish Litecoin as a possible crypto not to replace but to have equal standing as that of bitcoin but surely not in market value. Litecoin developer designed this coin as a response to the scalability problems witnessed by the bitcoin network. This altcoin is likewise perceived by many as the better transactional currency than bitcoin due to its faster transaction times and lower transaction fees. Litecoin has also witnessed less volatile price movements in comparison to other digital currencies.
As i see it, Litecoin will be a potential returns booster as well as a great diversifier to bitcoin and ethereum.

56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Prayer to ALL bounty managers on: May 10, 2018, 02:35:24 AM
I did many twitter campaigns and for many bounty managers I have the same problems:

1) I have to spend a lot of time to know when the campaign will finish -> why you just don't make a RED text in first message on TOP saying " BOUNTY FINISH AT...." ?
2) I have to spend a lot of time when the campaing has finished to know if I have to do something (Like making KYC or filling a final form etc...) -> why can't you ask this information when we joined the bounty?

So please take my advices..... as bounty managers ask us to follow the rules, please try to make our job more faster and easier as you can...

You obviously have a point and i am in one with you. But to no offense, bounty managers have equally so many things inline for them likewise to attend to.  Checking reports were undeniably occupying most of their time. Taking part in the campaigns telegram channel is one way of knowing all there is to know in regards to their campaign. Be observant. Asking questions will not hurt us a bit. I think we as bounty participants should also do our part.
57  Economy / Economics / Re: Will governments create their own cryptocurrency that will replace fiat? on: May 10, 2018, 01:24:02 AM
They most certainly can but it is equally highly unlikely to happen. Every government had already their own established fiat currency that they fully controls. They will never ever create a thing that will not serve a purpose to them.
58  Economy / Speculation / Re: I am planning to buy 1 BTC. Do I need to wait few more days for a price fall? on: May 09, 2018, 08:36:30 PM
I am planning to buy 1 BTC. Do I need to wait few more days for a price fall?

When you post this topic last January 24, bitcoins price was about $11+k. A little bit higher compared to it's present price of $9+k. So i guess now will be the convenient time to buy that BTC. And don't you wait no more because a shining green color is forthcoming.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy low.... sell high! on: May 09, 2018, 06:15:45 PM
Well,  They always say, "Buy low, Sell High!"

Successful investing is about buying low (market is red) and selling high (market is green). I actually think that this should be the grand rule in cryptocurrency investing. This is in fact the indisputable way in taking home an outrageous earnings that everybody is yearning for.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There is no doubt that bitcioin will be replaced by another cryptocurrency on: May 09, 2018, 05:17:27 PM
Time can only tell. I think for now we can only speculate what will happen to bitcoin after all the remaining coins were already mined to which will be relevant to more more years.
And as far as one can see, many altcoins were making their presence felt in the cryptocurrency environment. Ethereum for one. Some analysts believe that "ethereum very well could be, and should be, the world’s top virtual coin. It would appear that ethereum's known developers were giving this coins smart contracts and the utility blockchain, a strong case to overtake bitcoin at some point in the future.
