41  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What really happens on halving? on: November 03, 2016, 12:14:15 AM
Could you explain what really happens on halving. How one gets profit on this day. How the BTC is used on this day to see more profit. Whom should be approached to do so?
So it relates to how bitcoin works and how bitcoin is generated in a way. Every 10 minutes or so a block is mined and the reward for the block currently is 12.5 btc. A couple of months ago the reward used to be 25 btc, this is before the halving. The next halfing is due in about 4 years from now and when that happens the reward will go even lower down to 6.25 bitcoins.

This can be profitable because the supply of bitcoins being generated decreases, but the demand stays the same> resulting in a overall increase in price.
42  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: November 03, 2016, 12:10:59 AM
Recently, i often see discussion about Bitcoin Bank. More and more people come here and ask about bitcoin bank & surprisingly i see few user agree with this idea.
So, i would like to find out the percentage of user who agreed with this idea.

In my opinion, I dont really believe that bitcoin banks are a good idea. The main attribute of bitcoin is that it is decentralized, so creating banks for it would be counterintuitive.

However I do believe that making banks for bitcoin would attract a wider range of consumers to bitcoin that previosly did not want to join

Alright so I received my vouch invitation via email, and it was as simple as that. i just clicked on "join the family subscription" and everything worked fine.

The best part about this is that you can get the premium subscription on your own personal account, meaning you can keep your saved music and playlists.

I would recommend this seller  Cheesy, everything worked as described.

I would love to get a spotify voucher if you'll allow me, I will leave my review of your service in this thread.

Going to PM you my email  Smiley
45  Economy / Speculation / Re: If Bitcoin break $700. For how long it will stay above $700? on: October 29, 2016, 02:00:11 PM
If Bitcoin break $700. For how long it will stay above $700?
I feel like were going to be above 700 for a while now. maybe a couple months for sure. I just hope that when this bubble pops, it doesnt drop btc below like 700 again.

Price will rise until the end of the year, we'll see 900+. It won't go over 1000.
Price will crash in January 2017. Blood will flow in the street. We'll see 300, maybe 250. I did say blood will flow. In January 2017.

Thats a pretty good assumption in my opinion. I also think price is going to go up especially around christmas and drop after.
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FACT CHECK: Bitcoin Blockchain will be 700GB in 4 Years on: October 27, 2016, 12:22:38 PM
Quantum Computers are advancing much faster in calc and storage capacity. In 4 years from now, QCs will have cracked the blockchain, and Bitcoin will be gone, or at least, residing on a QC.

How exactly does a quantum computer attack the blockchain. I thought the only risk was QC's brute forcing certain private keys with a ton of bitcoins.

But i don't really that as an attack on the blockchain
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unconfirmed Transactions Problem on: October 27, 2016, 12:19:11 PM
This site can be helpful to you all https://bitcoinfees.21.co/. "predicting bitcoin fees for transactions."
Hmm that site is pretty interesting. I usually go with 0.1$ fees and my transactions confirm within 20 min but site is suggesting almost double that fee for a fast transaction.
48  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to invist / store my Bitcoins? on: October 25, 2016, 11:14:51 PM
So whats your idea where to invest or something different to do with the 0.25 BTC.
My advice would be just not to invest anywhere with btc. Bitcoin is a volatile currency, meaning investments with it are just not a good idea. If you do see a investment that pays good interest on your btc, it would likely be a scam. so just dont invest plain btc anywhere and store them on a paper wallet to prevent any digital trace that can be hacked.
49  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: October 25, 2016, 11:11:57 PM
Because bitcoin can take a 20% hit like it did when the exchange was hacked and still get up. It is almost as high as it was then. $700 here we come at great speed. Lately the price has rocketed.
I wouldnt really say that the price has sky rocketed. the price has been stable at around 640 for quite some while now, even before the bitfinex fiasco the price was still only like high 600s. And i dont expect it to go above 700 anytime soon because everyone is waiting for price to increase just a little bit so they can dump their coins.
50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Putting money in lottery is gambling too? on: October 24, 2016, 11:33:59 PM
Hello everyone, so I joined freebitcoin about a week ago, I can afford to buy around 500-1000 lottery tickets. But when I see last round the first winner has just 120 tickets but other winners got 10000+ tickets, if I buy around 1000 tickets, will it be worth and is it like gambling? Will it be addictive? Guys please tell me that lottery is second form of gambling or not?
Yes lotteries are definitely considered gambling in my opinion. its just that with lotteries, your chances of winning are much much smaller than what you would usually see at casinos. meaning the payouts are usually much higher.
51  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: October 24, 2016, 11:28:35 PM
Investing anywhere with base currency as bitcoin tends to be extremely risky, so i recommend you to never go down that road. you are likely to get scammed or sucked into a ponzi if you try to invest with btc.

Now with gambling, you know the exact risks before you bet your money. You would win around half the time so i guess it could be profitable in the short term, but gambling for a long time usually tends to end bad too.
52  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do Girls also gamble? on: October 24, 2016, 11:26:08 PM
In my opinion girls do gamble. why wouldnt they? They have the same intentions to have fun with risk. Although i would expect the amount of female gamblers to be lower than male gamblers. mainly because they dont really go on the internet looking for ways to win money. more guys tend to do that.
53  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: October 24, 2016, 11:24:14 PM
what kind of gambling that you think is easy to make a profit? and what strategies are you using?
I suggest you learn to play poker, because that is probably the only subtype of gambling that requires some skill included with luck. meaning you should  be making money if you are an above average poker player.
54  Other / Off-topic / Re: Two types of Bitcoiners, Which are you? on: October 24, 2016, 11:21:26 PM
well i have to say, I'm probably the person that would sell to flat out get cash from btc. because then i could buy back if the price drops lower. but if i spent it to buy a tangible item, then going back to btc would be a hard thing to do.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin was made illegal by your government would you still use it? on: October 24, 2016, 09:16:25 PM
No. I would never use bitcoins if it was termed illegal. I don't even gamble as it's illegal and I don't want to face any legal problem due to a currency. However, I can still see people from countries where bitcoins are banned and termed illegal still trading but they are taking a huge risk.
gambling is only illegal if its a private party hosting the gambling. and even if the government made bitcoin illegal, they would have no way to link any bitcoin usage to your identity. they cant find out I'm using it means I can use it all i want.

57  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How long does it take recieve Bitcoins? on: October 23, 2016, 07:40:32 PM
I had a friend send me 100$ btc and it's been over an hour and it's still 0/3 confirmation. I normally get them instantly or 30 minutes tops. Is their an issue?
the entire speed of the transaction depends on the fee you include. if you want to receive the coins within 30min i suggest you tell your friend to include a fee of atleast 10 cents with that transaction.

Anything lower would likely result in waiting hours for confirmations.
58  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to win gambling with no lose? on: October 23, 2016, 01:25:05 PM
Hey! Good day! I really want to know the secret of how to win and not to lose because i am afraid to join the life of a gambler it might make me addicted to it if i lose. When i lose im the one who never gives up >.< im afraid to be addicted and i want to win no matter the cause  Angry Angry
Well theres no guranteed way to win with gambling and never lose. but what you can try is, gamble and if you win dont gamble again for the day, and if you more than twice in a row, then dont gamble again for the day. now this wont help you make money, but it will help you cut down your losses.
59  Other / Off-topic / Re: waiting for a confirmation: what are you doing? on: October 22, 2016, 06:05:06 PM
i am reading here and posting some stuff.
lol i usually do the same thing as you when im waiting for my transactions to confirm.

but sometimes if the transaction is important enough i just include a hefty fee so it gets confirmed in like 5 minutes. that saves alot of time.
60  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do YOU know Bitcoin? on: October 22, 2016, 02:33:34 PM
as weird as it sounds, i was actually introduced to bitcoin by the media. couple of years ago when the price was about $1000, there was news channel featuring the story of bitcoin and how it was the future of currency. thats when i got hooked into bitcoin.

Even though i lost money because i bought at 1000, bitcoin still seems like an appealing currency to me.
