41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Altcoins will be a big competitor to Bitcoin? on: November 06, 2018, 07:12:49 AM
Bitcoin dominance in the crypto market almost 51% right now. If bitcoin price will go to the moon again then this dominance percentage may increase! But we have many options in altcoins, and many altcoins are better than bitcoin in several ways! Do you think, in future, Altcoins will dominate the crypto market? Or will it be a strong competitor to bitcoin?
I think not for another while. I think it will needs to be a long time before any altcoin actually rivals bitcoin, even ethereum that actually got really close to beating bitcoin at the height of the ICO frenzy can be seen very low right now even lower than ripple at times dropping to third.

Now, if you think about it even ethereum that got so much craze for it and increased in price insanely during the ICO frenzy where people funded ICO projects at hundreds of millions of dollars, bitcoin was still above it and did not dropped as much as ethereum. This tells me there needs to be a time when bitcoin actually fails itself before any other coin makes it to top.

Basically bitcoin will not be passed by some other coin because that coin is amazing, bitcoin will be passed by some other because it will do something bad itself and decrease in price while others go up, the only thing that can destroy bitcoin is itself at this point.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Some coins are removing from coinmarketcap? on: October 30, 2018, 02:41:59 PM
In order to get listed on coinmarketcap, a coin must have constant trading volumes not below a certain level. It is logical to assume that if during a certain period of time daily trading volumes are equal to zero, then the coin can be delisted from coinmarketcap .
Welcome to the era where shit coins are paving way and going down the drain. Apparently, you have not noticed this is the latest trend now and not just with coinmarketcap, but something that is even going on now with most exchanges.

Shitcoins have nowhere to be hosted in this market except in some shitty exchanges, which only shitty traders will only want to be a part of, but for most professional traders, they are looking for exchanges they can rely on and as a result of the reliability, exchanges are beginning to delist, and may be that is also one of the reasons why that is also being effected on coinmarketcap, since it is somehow still linked in a way, not as exchange, but as the general view of the market.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: FAILED ICO - FAILED BOUNTIES on: October 30, 2018, 06:46:06 AM
Is there someone here who really get some big profit with their bounties? I am sick and tired of failed Bounties that I joined, most of them didn't reward my works due to ICO failure.
Sorry mate, maybe you should be trying to check where you have been getting things wrong instead. The truth here is that there is nothing you can do unless you are ready to start doing due diligence when it comes to participating in bounty campaigns, otherwise, you will keep experiencing the same fate over and over again, and still be expecting different results. Probably, you have been too lazy to always crosscheck the project you want to be a part of and you tend to throw blind eye to the prospect, the product as well as the team and just hop into whatever you feel like, this would always be the outcome.

Try to participate in projects, that have already a working product, or that have already met their soft cap. There are some bounties live on the market, so best of luck in finding them Smiley And always be careful with not legit projects.
That is always the thing, and most people just waste their time joining shitty projects because they are simply too lazy to dig on the project they want to be a part of. Time and resources are at stake here, and anyone who take joining projects with levity and are too lazy to do some research on the team, product and the long term potential of the project, will always have themselves to blame in the long run for not taking diligence into consideration in the first place. When you fail to do that diligence, you will higher percentage of the time, experience failed ICOs and of course failed bounties.

Controlling the mind is difficult in every aspect, even in the gambling game. But once we can control our mind, then it will become easy to prevent something wrong that might happen to us. It will needs practice every day, and it's not just in gambling games but in our life too.

With controlling the mind, we can think about something wrong and something good, so if somehow we are in a bad situation or conditions, we can get a way to solve the problem. And related to the gambling game, if you can control your mind, you will not become addicted to gambling, and you will know how much money you use to gamble.
But at the same time, even though it is difficult, when you know what is at stake and the effect it could have on your being, one way or the other, you will just have to want to make it work.

Mind game is one thing you have to be able to sort out first, which is always the center of attack most time when it comes to gambling impulses, but as long as you have been able to settle your mind with the idea that this is just a fun thing you are paying for and you even have the chance to decide how much you want to pay for it, and it sometimes even comes with incentives if you are lucky, you will not end up putting so much attention on things you should not.
45  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 4 Things Traders Must Do To Be Successful on: October 29, 2018, 06:24:58 PM
Also traders work in patterns, they tend to create new indicators because of this. They find that if a movement is made each and every single time after something they start to look for that pattern, after a while they bet on that pattern.

Basically a traders mind works in to find a fix in the system and try to make money thanks to it, either because they believe they are smart and found something others couldn't find before or they have figured out a way that other rich people are doing in a secret way and not telling the world but he found it. It doesn't matter the reason but patterns has always been a big part of trader world even before the crypto currency era started.

Of course after crypto currency era started, it spilled over here and now all of a sudden there are thousands of people who never heard what bollinger band means just couple years ago go around selling signals based on it now.
46  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which coins or tokens will be profitable within this month? on: October 29, 2018, 04:01:55 PM
It is not easy to really estimate which one will do what because if everyone knew that than we would go do it ourselves however it is heavily risky subject and we are giving suggestions here thanks to our anon no name ways, if I had to tell this face to face to someone I probably wouldn't suggest anything because more often than not I usually fail at predicting a coin for the future and almost all of my long term holdings are down (whose is not on this market).

I think I can honestly suggest GVT and SYS for now, sys has been developing new stuff for couple months now but hasn't come up yet, if they can manage to deal with SEC and their laws than SYS will probably go up but don't know if it will be this month. On the other hand GVT had a huge increase in price recently and dropped, I think either it will correct and go back up or it will stay low in which case will gather power to get up again.
47  Economy / Economics / Re: the future real money on: October 29, 2018, 03:30:55 PM
[bif i see lately there are lots of altcoins popping up, especially in the digital world and whether for the next few years the function of real money itself will be eroded by the presence of virtual payment equipment ...? I had time to think whether in the next few years we would be making virtual money payments ...?[/b]
I think "real" money (aka fiat) is doing alright, right now there are troubles going around the world and since 2008 there has been a lot of countries in trouble, Venezuela, Greece, turkey, Iran and many more all had economic crashes but that doesn't take away the "real" money out of the equation. I think fiat will still have a big place to play in the world whether its like this or it becomes Zimbabwe trillions but it will still be around.

Crypto doesn't solve the fiat problem and inflation problem but crypto just fixes the decentralized trouble of fiat money. Fiat is controlled by banks and is unlimited, governments can print out as much as they want and the inflation would become terribly exhausting for any economy.

Considering over time banks and other rich business like insurance than we can see that crypto can definitely be a solution because there are finite amount of crypto.
48  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic crash in 2019! RE.1 on: October 29, 2018, 02:54:40 PM
There has been economic troubles like that all the time in human history, it doesn't mean it is a global economic crash like the 2008. The finance world and the companies got smarter about the way they close shop, they do not really go bankrupt overnight and suddenly there are no more, no they try to change the size, fire some people to keep a low number, sell their assets or whatever and still try to float. Why?

Because, they now know that if they hang around long enough that after the crash the best part of the economy begins, if you stay long enough (like 2008) you will see the economy get really well and be on a 10 year bull run and you can make insane profits from it. Hence, all companies do anything they can just to survive and hope that it will profit them in the long term.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Effects of Market Conditions on: October 28, 2018, 03:45:36 AM
There is no optimism even next year, if now this attitude to cryptocurrencies, which should in the future become a global currency. It looks like we will remain struggling with volatility, constant corrections and put up with losses.
Says who? If there is no optimism for you, there is optimism for a whole lot of us. One thing we cannot tell in this market is the fact that nothing is guaranteed, but really, who cares? What matters the most is now, and the question you should be asking yourself now is what you are doing to take advantage of the present moment. Worrying and whining will not solve anyone's problem, seeing an opportunity in what others see as a problem is what would end up giving you the best in the long run. One thing I have never missed is buying the dips while others are busy worrying for no reason at all.

The best time to invest or not to invest largely depend on market condition.  Market condition Iis like two edged sword!
Making our trading decisions based on market conditions and the real challenge is purely based on how much risk we may afford. After experiencing year long down fall, this present condition of entire crypto market is effecting into all crypto investors in both negative and positive way. Some people are still buying and some other people are delaying their buying decisions.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs and listing on: October 27, 2018, 09:00:55 AM
Guys, what do you think about today’s situation? A lot of good ICOs can’t list on huge exchanges, therefore investors can’t get profit. Idk why but today listing is a very hard process. I invested in sparkster ICO and they can’t list already for 6 month, ridiculous! What do you think?
This is very important, there are so many exchanges now they should make a point to list on at least 3 medium exchanges if they cannot get into huge one they have funds to do it, sparkster is such a good project I almost invest on it it should be in a big exchange because they have generated huge funds
It is not about just listing on an exchange, but a good one. Like you said, there are so many exchanges, but at the same time, which one do you think will be good enough in terms of reputation and would make the market more exposed to more money? That is usually the target of most good team.

Nonetheless, we also have to realize one thing that the reason why some projects have held back for a while now is basically because of the market situation. Considering the level at which a lot of new coins and tokens that hit the market trading below their ICO price hugely, is nothing to write home about and in this case, I just see the team trying all means to wait it out, and as long as there is prospect for the project in the long term, I believe the best thing actually is just to wait it out anyway. No other choice I guess!
51  Economy / Economics / Re: Article: A Characteristic Feature of ICOs Feed Price Fluctuations on: October 26, 2018, 01:39:10 PM
I guess it is still giving quite close price. $12K is remarkably close to $15k, which means for every refund they are basically only gaining $3k of the token back. Now I am not saying it is a bad idea I am saying this amount is just too close, maybe something closer to $7.5k which is half is still better.

Have the option to give out half and over time like maximum of x amounts per week which would result with the ICO owners giving back every week at a certain amount if requested. That way they could also use that money to something they need and hope to get it back somehow and pay the investors.

After all, you do not want to give the funds back to investors and you just hope the price of your token gets higher which would make the investors happy and you already have a lot of the token yourself as ICO owner as well which would make you double the money both in ETH (the investor funds) and the token.
52  Economy / Economics / Re: US Dollar Efect on the world and Crypto on: October 26, 2018, 06:02:48 AM
if the US dollar rises inevitably greatly influences the digital currency, for example, what is happening now with the dollar rising in crypto prices is immediately down, this certainly has a link between the dollar and crypto.
There is no link mate, sometimes, people like you just always want to find a link that is basically not there and just fill it up out of assumption. The crypto space has been tanking downwards even before dollar started gaining any strength and in such case, I wonder how you were able to get your own deduction. In fact, with the strengthening of the USD, crypto has been a little bit stable for a while now, so what do you have to say about that ?

This is just a space developing on its own, and it has nothing to do with the fiat world and only places where there would be an effect would be the less developed and developing countries, as that would affect their own economy and most especially for those who rely on it for importation most of the time, which would cause inflation as their own currency weakens.
53  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: looking for 15% / day (short term trading) on: October 26, 2018, 04:38:24 AM
Almost all crypto on downtrend since january untill now so we have very little chance to make profit. To avoid loss is better we short the price by trading in margin trading platform.
It depends on you most of the time as well as your style of trading, but since January till date, there have been some opportunities in between, both for short term traders as well as midterm traders. 15% per day though is something that is never guaranteed as that would depend on the nature of the market and your own pattern or style of trading, but in most cases, for short term traders and in good market conditions, you can at least get something related in a week. Basically, you have to consider money and risk management when you are looking at 15% per day of your total trading account, which may not sound too plausible.

Don't believe me start with 10k and increase your gains by 1% a day, you will see it grow very quickly.
I understand  that you are referring like 1% in $10k is equal to 10% in $1k. You must be right. Yes, instead of trying more profits out of small capital, in some sense your idea sounds good. But, here we need to also consider veteran people's suggestion of risking small capital as losing entire capital while trading is 101% very much possible and a most common one too.
54  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's the best altcoin chart site? on: October 26, 2018, 03:46:26 AM
Depends on what you want from the chart website. I mean the most known one is definitely coinmarketcap and you can check almost all coins there, I believe they had like over two thousand coins listed on their website which is basically all you need, if you want to watch out for a coin that is not listed on the coinmarketcap than you should probably not check that coin at the first place Cheesy.

Moreover, if you want something further like not only check the charts but also check out the indicators and technical stuff of it than I could suggest tradingview which would potentially help you out with all the technical stuff you might need for checking any coin and also have chart, for advanced stuff tradingview makes it much comprehensive.

So, all in all if you want something basic go with coinmarketcap, if you want something more detailed go with tradingview. If you can't decide which one you want I say use both and see what you like.
55  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does this sound realistic? on: October 26, 2018, 02:36:20 AM
I don’t believe that only luck will favor you all the time. if so then I should say that luckiest people should also be the wealthiest people in the world, but nothing is like that. It means that gambling doesn’t depend only on luck and some other factors also necessary in gambling, like gambling skills, tactics, bluffing, tricks etc. having these qualities you will be a successful gambler.
Stop playing hide and seek with reality bro, there is no form of skills tactics or tricks that will make you successful in gambling. It is all about the luck and that is all. Even if you want to apply some skills, with most part of it you are still making blind decisions with an expectation for the best, but if you get yourself so much in that mindset and anticipation for the winnings when it comes to gambling, you will get screwed pretty fast that you will eventually hate yourself for it.

What the OP said sounds realistic, and it is always better for anyone to at least, try as much as possible to have the mindset that would help them control their impulses when it comes to gambling.
56  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Treat trading as your job on: October 25, 2018, 05:13:05 PM
How do you see your trading activities? Are you just here to buy and sell or you are here to have more good coins and hold it until you make profit?
It is almost considered as my "job". My real job is freelance work but in reality I am taking bitcoin as a payment option and because of that I end up getting bitcoins in my wallet instead of fiat and I have already stopped taking fiat as a payment option almost 2 years ago which means I do not really have a use for it.

Since then, I try to cash out only minimal amount of bitcoins I have and spend it on real life stuff and pay the bills and whatever I have left goes straight to binance and I try to trade there. Since it is a viable deal to make money via trading it is still important to spend a good chunk of time deciding on what to buy because you can't overreact or rush into buying something considering it would ruin your financial future if you do that.

You need to be careful and you need to take your time before doing anything. I still think long term trading beats short term though.
57  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is the best time period in a day for Crypto trading??? on: October 25, 2018, 12:54:44 PM
There's a different type of trading, But be careful coz the market is volatile. crypto trading is 24/7 open so it's up to you when you will trade. The most important thing you can do is do a spot trading on some cryptos use stop loss if you can.
The market will always be volatile and available across board to everyone since it is a market running for 24 hours and even weekends. The choice is only yours, based on your time frame accessible to you in your zone as well as the style of trading you are into, which I believe only day traders and some few short term traders that would be so keen about the time they want to be trading of some sort, but as far as I am concerned, it really does not matter in the crypto space, as the only thing you just need is the knowledge to always know what to do at every certain time the market is there for you to take advantage of.

Moreover in the general term, there is no best time period in a day for crypto trading, what is important is to find the time suitable for you and then do what you have to do.
But traders are not ready to accept these general truths but looking for auspicious kind of things as they do believe this kind of external factor may help them for making profits. I am not sure what is OP is actually looking for. In general, news hours are good timings for trading across all markets.
58  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction becomes more popular with young people over time on: October 25, 2018, 04:14:34 AM
I see it this way that money interest teenagers more at their time since most of them had so many things they want to have or do at that point and they find gambling easy way to increase their money in order to obtain those and that ends up pumping gambling addiction into them.

A winning taste and that's enough to pump addiction ...
It is also a factor that young people want more money for their needs and for this they choose gambling way. They think that gambling is the only way that can give them big money in less time besides they know the bad consequences of gambling. Gradually they become addicted of gambling and then the time comes that they cannot able to quit gambling.
That is the thing, and they want money they do not necessary have to work for. What even gets it all crazy is the mindset they tend to have which they usually bring into gambling in terms of wanting to get rich and make more money than they can imagine from gambling.

Now, thinking level will always differ when it comes to maturity, but in most cases, a lot of them would have been so deep in it, realizing the reality kicking in and then finding it hard to accept that reality until they get burned, grow with it, end up wasteful unless they eventually manage to get help. I guess there has always been a reason anyway for most casinos to have restricted gambling to a certain age, but unfortunately, the jet age has exposed more people who are not even capable of handling emotions into it.
59  Economy / Economics / Re: The US dollar is gaining strength on: October 23, 2018, 04:02:56 PM
Donald Trump's trade wars are boosting local businesses and this is strengthening the US Dollar, but I think this is a little bit to late for them, because the US Dollar has lost most of it's value over time and they are faced with huge debt problems.

I see a typical scenario where China will claim US land and resources to pay back their debt in the future, like China are doing with some third world countries that are owning them money now.  Roll Eyes

The trade wars also make certain imports, more expensive.  Tongue  Crypto currency investments will increase, when people try to circumvent these trade wars.  Huh
That last part is actually something I see in the space in the long run which I believe the trade war would bring about for the growth of this space. Definitely, with the trade war on, this would most definitely affect a whole lot of countries as the USD is gaining strength and this is where we would see more countries falling down in their economy and trying to even see how they can survive through it, and in such cases, investors are always going to be looking for where they can store value so as not to get scooped up in the inflation and in that case, cryptocurrency may actually be a good target.
60  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost $350k / 54 BTC gambling, need help :( on: October 23, 2018, 01:10:56 PM
Hmm. At this point, I am even happy you were even able to come to terms in the first instance and realize that you need help. You really just have to sit back and try a lot to caution yourself or find some things you can get to do to limit your gambling activities.

It is not the end of the world, I have heard stories even more complicated than yours and people were still able to get out of it, all it just takes is the determination to want to do things right, and the first step which is accepting the reality of the position you are in at the moment, is a good start, and making step to quench that urge is the next step.
