41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CPU mining] Yenten v1.3.1 [YTN] [YescryptR16] [Exchange avilable] on: January 21, 2018, 05:23:41 PM
Can somebody explain why we need price reduction? I think better can be when yenten go back to 1 dollar +

As someone explain here, the price are now to expensive, and need to be corrected (around 0,01 - $ 0,04).
Actually a lots of miners losing interest to Yenten and moving to more easy coins.

I think nobody still explain why is low price better..
Actual network hashrate is: 4.5 MH/s
My 24/7 hashrate is: from 1.5 to 2 kH/s

I think hashrate was about 10 MH/s fue days ago and many more peoeple mined yenten when it was about 60 or 80 cents +
I think here was just some time one guy with supercomputer 1.4 MH/s and he stopped mining.
Actual price acording to coinmarketcap is 25 cents and it still going down.....

I think YOU say something like this:
When price drop down to 1 cents, more humans get interesting in yenten.
But WHY? There is so many cheap coins.... When price drop to 1 cents i think bigger chance is to death for yenten, becouse nobody want mining with big - in electricity. I would like to have 50 MH/s and 5 dollar price then 1 MH/s and big - in cash for electricity.

What about hashrate of i7-6700? I get 400-450 h/s with it (t 3 t 4). But my i5-4460 gives 630 h/s.

Example of .bat i7-6700 cpuminer-aes-avx.exe -t 3 -a yescryptr16 -o stratum+tcp://stratum.misosi.ru:16012 -u username -p x

I still did not understand about the -march command.

Hi, I think you should try switch to cpuminer-sse42.. or better, switch to Ubuntu (just my opinion, there is no needed "activity" for pick miner version with best Instruction set for your cpu)

I was wondering. Are you guys not concerned about this whole "for men over 21" thing?
I, for one, do not find it very flattering. I mean why exclude anyone from being a part of your endeavor?

I think this is just a joke.

This project is great, great project with great community and I feel great future for Yenten ... It will jump to the moon !! Cheesy

I would like to have new seriously pages, it coud only help.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Yenten still has any potential ? on: January 16, 2018, 05:56:34 AM
Many people think, this coin will make some records, because this coin is new in some aspects. I personally think, this coin will have more then 10 USD in just one or two years. You can find some reasons of fall in main thread about yenten:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2329470.0

I think all will be better and coin skyrocket when it will be placed in normal exchange.

I have tried this pool I've gotten over 25 accepted share's and I still see no funds in my wallet? Is anyone else having this same issue?

I mining there since yesterday, last blocks was found:
14h ago
14h ago
15h ago

I have there only some of mine miners so i have about 1 - 2 percent from all blocks and there is no problem with payments.

But as i say, last blocks was 14 h ago.

You must wait to find next block, estimate is about 7 hours per block right now i think..... You can estimate your income for next block. At pool site is all details about your mining wallet. At summary you have written how much percent you get from next block. Example:
SHARES**
9%

Sooo 50/100 = 0.5
0.5*9 = 4.5 yenten per block with my actual hashrate.

Shares is how much percent "work" you done between each blocks.

Soo be patient and keep mining, you will get your reward.
- btw. it is only my opinion but smaller pools are better, you will get coins less frequently but with biggest amount.
It is only my opinion but if your small pool have lucky you can mine even XY% faster than with big pools, but it works even in -XY% with bad lucky..

And please, pardon my bad English

First of all, lycheebit post wrong command:

it is not:
cpuminer.exe -a yescrypt -o stratum+tcp://lycheebit.com:6235 -u YeswrYHCmLc5opGsXnWLmQcobuBSf2SxLz -p c=YTN

but:
cpuminer.exe -a yescryptr16 -o stratum+tcp://lycheebit.com:6235 -u YeswrYHCmLc5opGsXnWLmQcobuBSf2SxLz -p c=YTN

And because of this somebody can have problems with mining xD.

But i am writing here because of this.. I want to ask for one thing. I switch my miners to lycheebit becouse i like more stable and smaller pools.
They had more than 110 KH/s till 7 AM, but then something has happend and they drop to 8 - 10 kH/s. Can somebody explain why more than 90% of miners stoped mining?

I forget to say i have budget only about 300 +- USD, less is better. As mentioned before i want only cheap toy for mining.

BTW: I have complete free electricity, and becouse of this fact i care only about price per hash with maximal investment about 300 usd, so i found old two mentioned workstations from my neighborhood:

Complete spec is:
Xeon W3565/8GB/250GB for 225 USD     24 month guarancy

or

i5 4570/4GB/500GB for 314 USD       12 month guarancy

I will turn on mining and put it to corridor with ubuntu 24/7.

Is it possible to mine with this CPU?:
Xeon W3565

Can somebody estimate hashrate?

I can buy old workstation for 225 USD with this Xeon or i can buy old workstation with:
i5 4570
for 314 USD.

What is better price/power choice? I want only toy for mining Yenten, no other usage.

I5 is BETTER. w3565 is too old.

Thanks for your reply, even if it cost 89 usd per workstation more?
I realy want only toy for mining, price per hash is important for me.

Can somebody give me advice what mining software i can try?
