For me ethereum is a good altcoin, as long as it is being developed and it has good transaction rates. I am now using ethereum wallet and for that i trust ethereum.

In these days there are so many people that are good at using technologies including those hackers that hacked your laptop. Always check it not only your wallet.  Next time if you have noticed your wallet is hacked again check your laptop first or computer.
