Hodl means holding, we just adopted its slang term because it is kind a cool. And I disagree to your opinion that holding an altcoin is stupid, it is you who are stupid, HODLING every coins you have right now and selling it in the right time means profits in the next pump.

I prefer to participate in bounty campaigns and hold my tokens. Remember, you have to be very careful when investing in ICO.

Crypto market has always fluctuated, when there is a bad news on the market is that all the altcoin discount. The Binance trading floor was attacked by hackers, which affected Altcoin prices but I think the market will stabilize in the next few weeks and the market will recover. You should hold your altcoin should not sell them at this time.

Now because of downtrend market, a lot of projects can't get enough money and  they extending the ico to reach at least soft cap. So the bounties of this projects extend too.
