41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: coinmarketcap or coingecko on: December 02, 2021, 03:38:22 AM
I currently use coingecko, it's faster and easier for me to use and have not been using coinmarketcap for a while now after it was acquired by binance because it takes time to fully load on my mobile phone. Although coingecko could be full of price glitches so  just double check from coinmarketcap to ensure I don't make an historical mistake.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another attempt at Bitcoin ETF..You knew it was coming once BTC raised above ATH on: December 02, 2021, 03:29:21 AM
I don't think an average trader thinks much of approve or unaprove ETF. Bitcoin ETF news has always been used to tension traders, but today the market cares less of any ETF just as bitcoin went higher up during the Chinese government crackdown. The Defi market alone is huge enough to keep people busy.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Governments planning a Crypto Crackdown? on: December 02, 2021, 03:24:41 AM
The government feel what they all think won't survive has rebound stronger and outperforming the traditional investment, and life is shifted to decentralization. It's a movement they know they can't stop, so they are trying a way around it to regulate it. It's not an easy task to survey cryptocurrency activities. My apex bank governor directed banks to shutdown accounts of anyone dealing with cryptocurrency, so we are saw it coming, we went P2P.

45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's nice to be back again on Bitcoin @50,000$ on: April 25, 2021, 09:37:34 PM
Holding fiat has been terrible for those who thought bitcoin was dead and all of a sudden, bitcoin came from the low of March 2020 and hit several ATH, here we are today, still standing tall. It's a huge revolution. I hold only daily spending fund on fiat and don't save on fiat anymore.
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost phone with bitcoin wallet on: April 25, 2021, 08:43:00 PM
The first thing to be done while opening a wallet is to take a diary and a pen, then safely back up the phrase, until this is done, the truth remains not your key, not your money. Nothing can be done, however, if this wallet is blockchain .com, you can just look for the login ID inside your email and input your password to proceed to fund recovering.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB will remain valuable for a long time on: April 25, 2021, 08:34:31 PM
Binance team are full of innovation, they saw the problem with ethreum network coupled with the huge Defi market, they just quickly created BSC using EtH address to simplify for users. BNB will stay formidable until ETH scalability issue is fixed.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC still wants XRP so badly on: April 24, 2021, 08:37:13 PM
SEC should face some other more daring issues and see how they can better this crypto and create a better investing environment instead of chasing a multibillion dollars project. Now they are losing via the court and ripple armies are standing behind XRP. I currently don't have any XRP. Have been against XRP because I needed to pay a 20 XRP activation of wallet fee, and XRP coin distribution too.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Previous Projects in 2018 again Pumping to All time high on: April 24, 2021, 08:31:45 PM
I have just a few from this list and they all did well. Any utility token solving real-time problem has no reason not to be traded by traders. Although most of the ICO I bought in 2017 and 2018 are now looking dead and some are actually dead. I feel they were designed to just amass wealth.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GAS fees on the ethereum network are slowly falling on: April 24, 2021, 08:27:41 PM
I think the gas falling is as a result of people migrating to BSC and other chains for their Defi projects thereby reducing the workload on ethereum on-chain network.  Another reason could also be the dump we experienced 3 days ago, some persons staying off-trade. I assure you the high gas fee will soon be back until the real issue is finally fixed.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pancakewsap TVL up to 10 billion,UNI only 9.8billion? on: April 23, 2021, 11:49:46 AM
The major issue with TVL dropping on Uniswap is because of the high gas fee on eth network. This has even forced me to abandon my small portfolio while I await a better network fee. In the future, Uniswap will overtake pancake if the issue of the gas fee is fixed, when is what I don't know.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All of a sudden they want to join crypto. on: April 23, 2021, 10:51:08 AM
People think cryptocurrency is a get-rich scheme and when they get burnt, they start yelling curses like little kids. My new policy is "get knowledge before investing", otherwise I won't move a finger, I equally stop helping people manage their portfolio, anyone who is serious enough will get the knowledge.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget bounties and Airdrops on: April 23, 2021, 10:29:03 AM
The biggest money-making slot in crypto space is to be

You are giving us advice to forget bounty and airdrop, and you are wearing a signature for a bounty program, hope you understand what that means? Last year, I got 2k Uni as airdrop now value at $62k, I got over 600 1inch tokens as airdrop this year and got SDT, yesterday, one of my student got $12K from airdrop of Forth governance token. We can't all stake our egg in one basket, division of labour is still the way to go.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you trust centralized exchanges? on: April 23, 2021, 10:21:37 AM
I only leave just a fraction of my asset on reputable exchnages for the sake of trading only and for the fact that ERC20 withdrawals are now very expensive. I know friends that lost millions of dogecoins to Cryptopia and coinexchange, won't allow such mistakes again. Not your key, not your money.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An unconfirmed tweet caused a $288 billion fall in bitcoin market value today on: April 18, 2021, 07:26:20 PM
FUD has always been used to shake off weak hands from the market. I am holding my position. People need to be careful what they fall for, they may eventually buy back at a higher price range. Only what one needs to do is to always have some stable coins so as to buying such flash crashes.
56  Economy / Economics / Re: What's Next? After Bitcoin Passes The 60K Mark...... on: April 17, 2021, 02:06:30 AM
Is bitcoin for speculation only?   or it is really useful in our daily life?  just curious.  What product can we buy by using bitcoin
The world's richest Elon Musk whose company Tesla recently invested $1.5B in bitcoin alone and has since never stop talking about bitcoin, you can actually use your bitcoin to purchase Tesla cars. And a whole lot of retail shops accepting bitcoin. There are some site that allows you to fund with bitcoin while pay for their services, it's cheaper and stress-free.
57  Economy / Economics / Re: Turkish Central Bank Forbids use of cryptocurrencies as a mean of Exchange. on: April 17, 2021, 01:51:40 AM
Very dumb move by the Turkish Central Bank. How do you even sensor Peer-peer payment system? Don't these people think before they act? they want to control everything and slowly make the people poor. This is going to have no negative effect on the crypto world, Turkish economy doesn't define world trade, it's a good trade and investment destination. The real crypto guys will bypass this and I expect some litigation against this Central Bank action.
58  Economy / Economics / Re: Venezuela Planning New 100,000-Bolivar Bills Worth Just $0.23 on: April 17, 2021, 01:36:58 AM
I thought the country wanted to go digital in their currency to fight inflammation. If Petrodollar has failed, why not the country adopt bitcoin as a major currency alongside their dead fiat to fight inflammation?. I understand the country has a major political crisis and riddled with corruption. Printing more fiat won't help the nation move forward.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government ban on crypto on: April 17, 2021, 01:11:38 AM
You need to understand that the government can do nothing about bitcoin, if they could do something about it, this could have been done long time ago. It's the evil banking sector and the capitalist trying to inspire the government against bitcoin, it's public knowledge that it's already a lost battle. This technology is bigger than any government combined.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you say you made money if you never actally sell your coins? on: April 16, 2021, 09:31:12 PM
Should you hodl forever?  Does everyone have a price?  What is yours?   Huh

One can only speak of holding in crypto when one is actually holding good coins that the CEO won't abandon the project for an easy life. When holding bitcoin, ETH, doge, and some other solid projects one can say he is holing money, not holding some scam coin.
