41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Newbies are not newbies indeed... on: April 16, 2016, 10:41:14 AM
Going back with my thoughts when i didnt know anything about cryptos: i was a developer for an online MMORG and one guy came up with the idea to integrate Bitcoins as "inworld" payments system. Well...my "profane" thoughts and feelings were like: "bitcoin is the kingdom of dark, unlegal affairs..." or "seriously you asking me to let my money run over someone else computer?" or again "lol i will never put any of my cents over something that would nightly disappear..." etc etc  Undecided
But you know...when you sow the right seed...and make someone know about something...they will never be able to "ignore" what they seen  Cool
Said that, i'm sure you all remember those days when you started to google about bitcoins, to research, ask, wonder...etc etc. I spent a lot of months doing that, even sporadically during my boring/lazy time. Downloaded propably tons of shit, wallets, virus, unfinished works, githubs, tested faucets, lost money, started my own shit-nodes and so on till nowadays and all the activities i actually do with Bitcoin and my life Cheesy
So no, when i registered my account at bitcointalk...i wasnt exactly a noob: when you "decide" to register an account at bitcointalk you have spent prolly the last weeks of your life trying to get the shit out of your brain about Bitcoin and its alts and you have propably a lot of missing sleep time on your shoulders Cheesy
So welcome noobs! I'll call you "mate" by now Grin
42  Other / Archival / Re: Not less than 10% daily without risk and with coin in your hand on: April 15, 2016, 10:49:09 AM
always in your hand (So no scam risk)!
Wrong/false: money is always on 1Broker website (which i dont know if it is legit or not).
So OP, you offer a service as forex trader consultant here but please: scam risk is related to the website you advertising.

I will probably remove the ANALYZER from the next version.
That was an old utility, i think nobody used it and it costs me code maintenance.
Anyone has ever used that function??

Well no, it is pretty unused especially without more interesting infos like volume etc. I guess you can remove it as it is right now.
44  Economy / Economics / Impressive growht of market cap since oct 2015 on: April 13, 2016, 10:49:31 PM

45  Other / Meta / Re: Q: Should Lauda *really* be a moderator of bitcointalk A: no on: April 12, 2016, 10:50:54 PM
WAIT!! If you guys remove Lauda as moderator i QUIT! Kiss
Anyways OP: Lauda is one of the few persons here that dare to express their ideas without looking at your rank, trust, donations, skin color, avatar, signature or any other potential "pre-judgement". If what you say is stupid, expect Lauda to write it down with caps and viceversa: if you smart enough to contribute to this forum with constructive posts, expect Lauda to back you up without if and without but. And i like this attitude and fortunately i see the same attitude from a lot of other people here.
If you knew it, you woudnt make a new account just to run your mouth but instead, you would have risked some of your red trust with your Legendary "avatar" and write about Lauda with him Wink

46  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fasten your seatbelts: now it begins... on: April 12, 2016, 08:03:56 PM
So you are buying I presume?
$545 cad here. :p
Of course i'm buying and not only Bitcoins! All those alts going cheap in the next weeks/months are so good to hold till after the halving when "they" will get pumped again Wink

Everyone that isn't a fool and has been around in the game (and chances are those are the people that control relevant amount of coins) are moving all of their altcoin investments back to Bitcoin, and they are doing in a steady way but not in huge quantities to cause an alarm and make the price to to the moon, not yet, they are doing it slowly. The price will rise like crazy in the following months.
Totally agreed! Plus read previous quote Wink

Patience is a virtue but waiting too much for the target can sometimes wreck you.
OMG! This is what i meant! Too much times i had regrets in my tradings so i learned that when it is time for actions...so it is! Wink

Personally I think the price will remain in the current range ($400-450) for the next few months unless something big happen (such as the real Satoshi reveal himself and convinced everyone he is Satoshi, or there is a breakthrough in blocksize debate).
Something happened bro: yesterday first 2Mb block was mined on SegNet Wink

still holding my bitcoins right now, i bought them when it was $ 376
Dont we all envy this guy?  Cheesy FINE! I will say i bought at 425 when everyone will exchange at....500...600...700 Huh

lots of depression in this forum.. finally.. good tidings.
WTG!

Wrong section. Move such threads to the speculation section.

Doge up 11%.
Moved!
Bought Doge!
 Grin wub ya Lauda!

is there a way to have it automatically save all of my settings and other data automatically, if I have to reboot I seem to loose everything

File > Save open markets PingPong parameters > Save open markets current orders > reboot

When it starts again: File > Load PingPong parameters > Load orders

48  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: April 12, 2016, 12:37:44 PM
If you give me 10BTC i would give you 10% monthly with legit and proven mining or i would give you 2-3% daily with legit and proven trading.
49  Economy / Speculation / Fasten your seatbelts: now it begins... on: April 12, 2016, 11:51:58 AM
I have an unusual thrill this morning, like it rarely happened in my life...usually it means big time!!!
Reading news i understood and the thrill became action:
Bitfinex 426 trend up
Btc-e 420 trend up
Coinbase 426 trend up
Bitstamp 425 trend up
Xapo (my wallet) 432 trend up

All alts down (and i mean it...ALL DOWN)! Yeah i'm sure now: it is showtime! Going to move a bunch of USD to Bitstamp...

Hi Sampey,

Got a question - In CAT I've created a bunch of Ping/Pong orders on Dynamic setting with my desired settings so that it would keep re-adding orders. At the moment I've got a series of Orders awaiting the Pong execution added and waiting in the Exchange.

I want to stop CAT from trading so that I can evaluate all the orders, but how do I stop CAT trading, but still have it record the results of the PONG execution in the Global Gain log?

If you stop CAT, then all your pong orders will remain on the exchange.
You can choose to
- Delete them
- Let them on the exchange and wait for someone who fill that orders.

On CAT side, you will never see the Ping-Pong completed line in the GLOBAL GAIN table. But, if the orders will be completed on the exchange you will also have your gain.

When i want to evaluate orders i issue the command "Stop ping creation" on that market: you just need to wait for the PONG to complete and then you can evaluate all your completed trades.

Start a little business is the best investiment for who don't have much money at beggining.

And we all live in countries where that's easy to do without a lot of money.  Roll Eyes

Well, just need a bit of creativity to create a cheap and usefull service to start offering.

If you live in a third world country, with your signature campaign earnings you can start something. Resell stuff, craftwork, if you have more space animal breeder... This is the good point of capitalism, prosperity.

What country are you from? Sounds like US mumbo jumbo.

hahaha, i'm from Brazil  Cheesy

Dollar here x4 our money, and BTC a bit more. Very profitable to exchange it into our country money. It's a very welcome extra money to start a business, and it's possible!

I had people begging cents on my land in Second Life and at the end of the day they could earn 3 or 4 american dollars. AFAIK they were brasilians and i been told with 3 or 4 dollars per day, they would have a living...is that true?

54  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advise a profitable cloud mining service on: April 08, 2016, 02:53:11 PM
The only legit one is without a doubt Hashnest, backed by an important company like Antminer. Best of all if you are good at trading and you are a lot of time in front of your PC you can win a bit by trading your GHS, last is you can exit anytime you like if you are not feeling good anymore regarding your mining, by selling your GHS. All other cloud mining are just ponzis and some of them already showing signs of near collapse.
Well there is BW too: they claim to serve 8% of international mining hardware+they are a reliable pool+they have an open GHS market (good to trade or as an exit for your principal).
Actually im using hashnest too but im looking closer to BW.
55  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: BW 14nm Miners Update on: April 08, 2016, 02:49:53 PM
Well daily distributed interest of B11 is 0.000312BTC/THS/DAY. Price is actually 0.76 BTC per THS at shop and 0.61 BTC per THS ask at marketplace. This is not yet mining mode (it will start when all crowdfunding goal is filled), this is interest mode.
Right now i woudnt buy it...just my opinion tho, when mining mode is active i will have a look at daily share per THS and eventually try to find a deal at marketplace.
This is wrong.  They sold out croudfunding for B11 on 10/12/15 and until mining mode started you earned .000312BTC/THS/DAY.  It has been in mining mode for over a month earning 0.00301410 BTC per TH/s or whatever amount it is for 1 TH/s in that difficulty period and you can freely sell and buy it on the market.
Tx for the headup! I guess those informations werent clear for me reading from their website. How active is the market? Is there an interesting volume?

I'm pondering to buy CAT. How is it "hard" to use it out of the box? I meant, im aware the gain is related to the market you buy/sell but, for a basic gain, do i really need to go tru all the available settings or can i start with the default settings and then increase gains as long as i get comfy with it and dig more in the markets?
Thank you for anyone answer
~Hamu

Of course you can start using the default parameters just to understand how it works.
And then you can add the specific parameters you need on that market.

Learning CAT is not long, how long does it takes the full reading of this document?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=507103.msg5590896#msg5590896

Maybe 2-3 hours no more.
And i offer free full support by PM. Very fast responses  Wink
Thank you mate, i guess i will bug you a lot this weekend then...my wolves go out of town for a trip and i got enough spare time then  Grin
PMing you tomorrow to buy the license, i will add some review here.
