420 celebrations at bittrex for latest twitter update Cool

New Headquarters in commercial space ?    Smiley  Keep rocking Delta9!
Hi, can you elaborate? I'm too antisocial to twitter. Thanks -M

That's all that was posted. Sounds real good though.

D9 has personally acquired commercial space to conduct further developments for CANN and his other endeavors.
Ok Cool! Why is that big news? Where is the commercial space (which state or closest city at least). I would be excited to hear about any further developments for CANN and what other endeavors of D9 are you referring to? Are they CANN  related? Should I be acquiring at a faster pace? Thanks -M

So glad I sold my CANN and got into CIRC. It's been a great ride. In a few months when I sell some of my CIRC I will buy more CANN because I do love the coin but right now it is to slow for someone like me who's looking for profits weekly and monthly.
Thank you for the great discussions and laughs.

This is 100% my sentiment, I felt I was helping carry the CANN price up for the longest time, but CIRC is just too good right now.

I too will be back in the future with additional buy support, so keep the price down so we can still accumulate when we come back Smiley
This is not my sentiment at all but I do understand yours. I trade about 20 coins but CANN is an acquire only for me. CANN is more than a coin, it represents a social movement and Δ9 is way more than a dev, he's a pioneer with means and determination. I support the enlightened.
As far as moving to CIRC to make some scratch that's cool and I'm sure the community will welcome you back but you'd better hurry! I wouldn't expect get back in CANN cheap. I and others are buying your coins and have no intention to give them back (sorry).  -M
what makes you think cann won't be cheap the next months? there is no hurry, this will take some time...
Hi zoata, some "time" yes agreed but time is moving faster than ever before as far as social and professional acceptance of MMJ is concerned. The political positions are changing everyday in near every state and with major elections on the way this is going to be a federal football. It's not that I think that CANN is going to "shoot up" to peg status in the coming weeks - I did not mean to come off like that or that this is like your last chance to buy or anything, just meant that I do not believe that CANN is going to be cheaper in the future and those jumping out will find it more costly to hop back in. As I said I am acquiring as much as I can as often as possible. I do not trade, I buy and hold so my coins are basically off the market and I believe that there are others doing the same. Less coin inventory should beget higher value. My first purchase was October 2014 and I am holding more than 300k CANN. I have an order in right now on Cryptsy for 20k @1511 so if those guys jump out I hope I get their coins. Thanks for the comment. -M

I haven't been here on the forum for a long time. I found steeping myself in alpha crap daily was emotionally exhausting. Not counting credit card chargebacks, deposits, or funds returned by banks or Paypal, has anyone here that paid down payment or in full with BTC or wire received any cash refunds or anything from Alpha Theft-ology (except disrespect)? Thanks -M

I'm in this one not only for the money but to help end this as well:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=355&v=JTKTfUHfeKM

Thank you for this link. I watched the video - it infuriated me to no end to see these bullies with badges. If they weren't the police they would likely be in jail but instead they will be investigated by their own fraternity. What a joke. Without that video I doubt there would be any investigation. Shame on Police Chief Carlos Rojas. In my opinion he should resign and the city be held responsible for the emotional damages caused to the MMJ patients as well as monetary judgments for damages to that dispensary. Those "officers" should be prosecuted.
I will continue to accumulate CANN and other organizations that support MMJ and I will vote. I'm old and these are the only powers I have.

Sorry for the rant - really, gut reaction but if you don't want your BP to go up don't watch the video. -M

Greetings. Here a long time, rarely write but thought this was relevant.
In Florida today John Morgan, a lawyer forefront in the effort to legalize MMJ here, kicked off the 2016 legalization campaign with his personal cash - $150k with a commitment to match every donation made to United For Care (People United for Medical Marijuana). Morgan was visible and vocal in the last election and the amendment received 58% of the vote falling short of the 60% required here.
Link to the video news on Orlando13 Bright House news: http://www.mynews13.com/content/news/cfnews13/news/article.html/content/news/articles/cfn/2015/6/11/medical_marijuana_john_morgan.html

If you are a registered voter in the state of Florida you can sign the petition to put MMJ on the 2016 ballot by logging on at http://www.unitedforcare.org and clicking on the petition link. You can fill it out on line or download the petition form. If you're not registered but eligible, Please register and be counted.

I filled out the form on line and it saves data to a .pdf document of the petition that you print, sign, and mail to Miami.

I invest in CANN, I support the movement, and I salute D9 for efforts. -M

48  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion. Paycoin XPY CoinStand Mineral. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: May 02, 2015, 12:04:54 PM
Has anyone or group filed a legal claim or dispute against GAW and or associated paycoin, paybase, individuals, etc.? I believe that if the timeline of evidences were brought to a court of law for adjudication, the court would find ample instances of fraud. I would be interested in that battle but one I can't personally afford. -M
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin-QT database corrupted on: March 21, 2015, 12:12:53 PM
Hi, this "corrupting" database issue has been a pain in the butt for me. This over several versions of the QT, OS/win7, win8 (and .1) and 2 different machines using both 32/64 bit. This happens every few weeks and then I have to rebuild / reinstall the database fresh. This happened to me again a few days ago so I dumped everything (except the wallet) and re-loaded using the new 10.0 - I have tried twice to load and twice failed corrupt database! By the way, 10.0 removes itself if it does not install successfully. I can't even get a partial load. I guess I'll try going back to a (much) older version. I do NOT want an "outer space" wallet. The crypto world is not to be trusted at least by me. -M

What's with hash lung? 2 days with this message -
We are investingating issues in the backend. Your shares and hashrate are safe and we will fix things ASAP.
2 days for a backend glitch?

Well, hasn't been 2 days, may have been twice in two days when you were looking at it Cheesy

All payouts are processed now. Just drop me an email using the contact form on the site if you see it again. Thanks for using the pool!
Yes, thank you. I may have looked at it twice in one 24 hour period - sorry. I stopped getting regular payouts from about midnight 9/3/2014 00:06 until 9/4/2014 17:30 when all of my coins came in.

Thank you and I'll hash at Hash Lung again. It's good to find an honest pool with an attentive admin. -M

http://poolpicker.eu/

Scrypt

BLK Pool V2
0.00048120
BTC/MHs

x250 = 0,1203 btc per day (57.23 USD)

5450 gbp = 8977 dollar

8977 / 57.23 = 156,8 day ROI

With scrypt hash rates going ballistic between now and the end of the year, you won't be getting $57.23 a day soon ...
yea, but it's all relative right? - if BTC were 966. instead of 483 (USD) 250mh would be making around 115. per day, ROI in half the time. Not a math guy, just looking at the numbers posted. -M

this will be my last post here
I lied  Wink
I didn't plan for such an absurd attack on my last post.

Bye. You say money was the third reason you got into crypto but the social implications still apply and yet you have sold up your mining hardware, a few old GPU's it seems, so that you got out with a profit. That says more that you got into it primarily to make as much money as you could and when it never turned out to be as good as expected you got out regardless of social implications or other reasons that supposedly got you into it.
I'm not sure how you've come to the conclusion that I primarily got into it to make as much money as I could, or how you know what my expectations about profit were?
I got into cryptos right before the litecoin price surge, so it was still questionable if I would make enough to pay for the hardware I bought, so please don't accuse me of something you have no proof of one way or another.

I got into it as I said because I was interested in the actual bitcoin protocol. How much talk do you see here about Merkle hashes for example? Could you give a brief technical explanation?

What is a HW error? What causes it and what are it's implications? No one seems to talk about those sorts of thing here, in fact I ended up reading CGminer's source to find the answer. Understanding things like these are more interesting than yet another scam coin or multipool to me, that's the main reason I've left, small profit, lots of heat and noise are other reasons.

Regardless of social implications? What?
I got into cryptos first because of interest in the protocol and social implications
I was interested in the social implications. I learned a lot about them, as much as I wanted to. I've moved on to other interests and projects.

Saying others had a get rich quick mentality yet you flocked with them. That was your interest as well, most displeasing. Putting your efforts solely into obvious scam coins to try and make as much as possible instead of making existing coin networks stronger.
Yes, I did mine scam coins, and I'm just as guilty as anyone else. However I didn't get into cryptos for that reason, and I knew it wasn't sustainable. Also how do you know that I solely put my effort into scam coins?

People are trying to claim money back and are taking legal action and your several large comments, on this page alone, help nothing.
OK,  how did your large comment help "people trying to claim money back and are taking legal action"? Also I only posted on this page, my first comment was a possible scenario of what happened, from there I was attacked twice, now three times.

As I said, I hope there's justice for those who lost money. But with a scam it takes two to tango. Instead of solely blaming Alpha, I only said it might be worthwhile to ask what they could have done to avoid being scammed. Those that don't understand this *do* need help.

For someone who has done nothing you speak with great authority!
What exactly have you done???

I didn't see you saying anything before they brought out pre orders, so why you feel the need to pipe in now it has gone badly is bad form. Glad you've hung up your soap box as well as your couple of old extra GPU's as like you say there are very few who seem interested in innovation or change. I understand Wink
You're right I didn't say anything, although my initial thoughts were: yes there will be Scrypt ASICs, but I didn't have much faith in Alpha.

I have a very naive idea about hardware designed, having design some very basic circuits in VHDL (I can substantiate that with code). So I knew from a technical standpoint that Scrypt ASICs were possible, and almost certainly coming.

In the kind of community I imagined before I got involved, I figured most would know more than I do about FPGAs/ASICs. But if you look back to the first pages of this thread it's clear that very few have any idea, and were posting based on rumors and gut feelings. Kind of like you how made lots of assumptions about my motives and actions based on nothing but emotions.
Ok, you sold your 3 Sapphires - because you could not even get your conf files correct. You offer money to anyone that can help you - That was 7 months ago and now you are a pro posting here for what reason? The way you present yourself is unappreciated. Your advice (dad) is worthless and these people don't need your crap. Go away. -M
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: August 15, 2014, 01:15:57 PM
Will they even get to batch 1? =) hehehe

Well....My worst investment ever...
This may have started as an investment but it turned out to be a mugging. There are no Vipers, no batches, never were. A lot of people here blame themselves for losing their money. You didn't lose it, it was stolen and that is not the same thing as losing money in an investment. I know this because I have had loser investments in solar water heaters, cattle, bull semen, airlines, etc. etc. you name it. Alpha Technology is nothing more that an ongoing conspiracy to defraud. They are still asking for payment for products that do not exist.
And while I'm on the soapbox this morning (Can't farm, waiting for rain to stop) I have to ask of this community - Who is selling their Alpha gear, gear that is known to not exist, on eBay?
Maybe it's Alpha? I would not put it past them to do something underhanded.
My money is very hard earned and I stand to lose a bunch but I can not imagine selling my misery to an unsuspecting buyer to ease my own loss. Legally I will try everything possible to get my money back from Alpha but if all else fails I guess I'll have to take the hit. - M

Before - the 'We will showcase an ASIC prototype in the coming weeks' update:

https://web.archive.org/web/20131106092909/http://alpha-t.net/news

After - the 'We have nothing left' update:

https://forum.alpha-t.net/index.php?topic=952.0

Instead of the recent TL;DR 'Announcement' with all its wheedling, threats and recriminations, how about Mubasher start acting like an adult and provide a plain old honest factual update on the development status of the project, including information about any financial problems the company may be experiencing, a factual explanation of any ASIC production problems they are having or have had, a realistic estimate of the performance, power usage and delivery schedule for the Viper and a statement of sincere regret for any problems customers have experienced ?

Then if he really wanted to show good will towards his customers, he could start by un-banning them (again), restore deleted or moved forum posts and personally address customer's concerns publicly in their forum.

Any finally, he could acknowledge publicly that Alpha-T have missed the commitment Fiaz made, as a company spokesperson, for delivery July 15- July 31..
What? LOL, then we can trust tem again huh? maybe send them some more money - Nah! -M
