41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yearn.Finance (YFI) hits $28k on: September 04, 2020, 06:03:07 AM
I still don't understand lol what's driving the price of YFI. Just when I think that YFI has reached its peak I see YFI is pumping again. Does anyone have any idea why YFI pumped so much? I know supply is low but that can't be the only reason for the pump, right?
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to optimally store USDC (usd coin) on: September 03, 2020, 07:07:23 AM
USDC is an ERC-20 token so you can use any ethereum wallet to store them like MEW or mycrypto wallet. Hardware wallets are the best because they are really secure but you can use a mobile wallet like Trust wallet to store them because they give us the control of our private key,.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: help needed. on: September 03, 2020, 06:50:31 AM
hi Guys

I need your help Im a newbie with using eth using metamask currently.

And I wanna buy some YFI coins and store them in the pool liquidity.

but for each transaction on metamask requiring those coins it asks me to pay 40-50% Fees.

That means 50$ transaction 30$ fees

How can that be possible ? Im pretty sure some settings or something is wrong pls help. !

If you are buying using uniswap or any other decentralized swap exchange then you would have to gas fees which is extremely high right now. I would suggest you rather buy YFI token from any centralized exchange that way you will have to pay little as a fee.

46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Regret always comes late, is there anyone who has experienced something similar? on: August 02, 2020, 06:28:19 AM
Regret came to me in many forms. One of which was selling tokens/coins too early; there were few coins that I bought back in 2019 which I thought would have maxed out only to see those coins pump x10 more which was heartbreaking lol.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum classic was attacked? on: August 02, 2020, 06:21:49 AM
Even binance thinks it was a 51% attack on the ETC network. I can't even imagine how a coin that is in top30 will be a victim of a 51% attack. If I am remembering it correctly then this was not the first time that ETC fell victim to 51% attack.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YOUR TOP REQUIREMENTS FOR INVESTING IN ICOs on: August 01, 2020, 06:44:44 AM
1. The team should have a solid background.
2. The idea of the project should be a money-making idea for me.
3. Whitepaper/Pitch deck should be interesting.
4. The project must have solid backings.
5.  And the project must transparent from the beginning.

Though ICOs are not that much in play these day but I would still invest If I see good a project.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dai Stablecoin on: August 01, 2020, 06:24:52 AM
DAI is truly a decentralized coin because of that I really love DAI. DAI had only one limitation that it was not listed on many big name exchanges but listing of DAI on binance changed that. I think the future of DAI is really bright.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still sleeping? on: July 31, 2020, 07:08:54 AM
The title sound funny right. It is not news that the crypto market is booming now, I hope you are already putting every necessary things in place to maximize the state of the market now and the state to come. If you are yet to start investing in one or two promising project by now, it means you are still sleeping. Wake up and do something. I have seen a lot of post complaining about how they missed out of 2017, are you sure you are not going to miss out of this? Hmmmm.

The recent dip in the market did give me a wonderful opportunity to load on a bags of coins that I missed before because they shot up quickly. So, if I am right once mega bull run hits the market I will be all set.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin dominance falling, time to bag in some alts? altcoin party? on: July 31, 2020, 06:52:41 AM
Dominance is starting to rise again and if the BTC keeps rising this way I think we will soon see BTC dominance crossing 65% again lol. My portfolio took a big hit because of BTC's recent move to 11k. Alts need some time to recover now.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum : Its not too late on: July 30, 2020, 06:13:18 AM
Ethereum is the best project right now if you can hold your coins for a few months because I believe in few months when they release the date for 2.0 mainnet that's when things will get really interesting.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My hidden gem. on: July 30, 2020, 05:55:23 AM
Both scenarios are possible I price could either dump a lot or pump too because of the low supply. If the coin was listed on any reputed exchange I would have given this project a try but with a really low amount. Plus this address is holding almost 47% of tokens.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This could be a big WIN for an entire crpyto community on: July 29, 2020, 07:12:25 AM
It’s a good news, not really about getting new investors, but because it shows that the government has fully recognized Bitcoin as a legal asset. Although that will also mean that they will now have their eyes on cryptocurrency and would love to regulate it and collect taxes and all that. That’s something don’t want, most of them wants a means to earn and evade paying taxes lol, sometimes taxes can reduce your earnings to a ridiculous amount and some people don’t want that.

As for that attracting investors, I saw some comments that it doesn’t attract investors. Nah that’s not true, there are lots of investors waiting for something to prove that Bitcoin is legal, and now they have it and will now join without fear that Bitcoin is a scam.

Even though our government was uncertain about cryptocurrency they were for sure excited about collecting taxes on the income made through cryptocurrency. Was US not charging taxes for income gained through cryptocurrency before?
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: cannot open myetherwallet.com, page is blank on: July 29, 2020, 06:59:02 AM
MyEtherWallet is working fine right now maybe it's from your end? Try opening myetherwallet in incognito mode on your browser if that works then I think you would need to clear the cache of your browser.

57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is going up day by day.. on: July 26, 2020, 07:42:09 AM
It's good to see ETH finally breaking a major resistance of 280 and trading at 300+ been waiting for this for a really long time. IMO as we get closer to the release date of ETH 2.0, ETH will also break the barrier of $350.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AVAX project vs Cardano on: July 26, 2020, 07:27:03 AM
Hello everybody,
I am an ADA fan and will be holding it for a long time. I don't think, in my opinion, other smart contract cryptos will be able to compete with it, but it's only my opinion.
Although I've heard recently about the AVAX project that seems a little bit interesting to me (I missed the ICO). Has anyone compared the 2? I basically find it interesting but I am definitely not buying the IOU at 6 dollars right now.

I am a long time holder of ADA as well but I think AVAX is also going to be one of the big projects in the crypto space but, I won't suggest you buy the IOU tokens because buying them is bit risky and the prices are usually heavily manipulated by exchanges.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much you earn in bounty hunting for the year 2019-2020 on: July 25, 2020, 08:04:27 AM
Let us talk straight. In this trying times some were coming back here in the forum knowing they could get hope to join in bounty hunting and to earn tokens by which then converted to btc then fiat. I know of this because I myself was a bounty hunter before and doing odd stuffs and then I quit due to the fact that many projects do failed or they did not pay and make a good exchange for their tokens rewarded.

Since I have been long gone into bounty hunting(earning tokens) I want to know if bounty hunting promoting an ICO project still earning. How much was the highest paid to you from bounty projects? (for the year 2019-2020 projects only.)

Update: who were good bounty managers nowadays?

Some of the good managers here are Bubbalex (only brings the best projects), bounty detective (they also act as an escrow which guarantees payments to hunters), there are a couple more but I am totally blanking out on their names.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I restart a dead altcoin and continue the development?? on: July 25, 2020, 07:51:28 AM
First, check if the previous owner is still active and if he will let you take over the project for some stake in the project. If he doesn't agree then you can always fork the project but that's a bit risky IMO.
