Thanks for all your submissions. We are still accepting more designs, maybe you could have the best one out there. Join us now!
What d'ya mean? Can we design more concepts? I think he meant for people who haven't submitted yet.

1. Bitcoin: most stable and secure, lots of exciting tech coming out, lightning, atomic-swaps, MASTs, schnorr signatures, rootstock 2. Ethereum: most approachable to devs trying to build new stuff on the blockchain + Casper, Raiden, Masternodes 3. Tezos: on chain governance, built in developer bounties, formal verification, functional smart contracts, PoS 4. QRL: first quantum resistant ledger, a good hedge if you're worried about that, PoS 5. Aura: brand new project, best chance to get into a new coin before it gets popular, people stocks/tokenized selfhood

Instagram bans ICO and crypto ads! Following Facebook, it has forbidden everybody to place on its site any information which referrers to ICO projects. You will not see any news about it there. Your position? ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) Most projects run bounty campaigns that enlist users to post links and like and stuff so I don't think it will have much of an effect unless they outright start censoring people. Market is overreacting to this.

Cryptocurrency is going to take over the world. I'm completely serious, fiat will be a thing of the past, found only in small niche hipster groups. May be a while before it happens, but don't get left behind. That said, 90% of the current crypto projects won't last 3 years, make sure you pick good ones.

Yes, and altcoins usually dip and rebound harder than bitcoin during these panic sell offs so even if you have no fiat it's a decent time to get that coin you have had your eye on.

The great thing about working hard is it distracts you from the constant price swings and makes it easy to hodl through the rough patches. And you get a lot of work done, so it's win win.

I just quit my office job to have full time in crypto world. I split my time of day to work manything: doing bounty campains, researching good crypto to invest, trading 3 - 4 times per week (not day trading) and may be next time i'll learn about mining. Anyone who has been off work like me can share your experiences?
I quit my job over a month ago as well, but to work full time on my own projects http://youstock.io and https://auraledger.com. There's so much money sloshing around in this space I think you'll do fine. I personally have not tried participating in other bounty campaigns, but if you can get your profile built up you can probably do very well there. There are lots of projects vying to win over everyone's eyeballs. I'm currently running a campaign for Aura, check it out if you're interested https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818598 ( https://discord.gg/9eTev7j). We're a smaller community right now, trying to build organically from the ground up.

what is the current stage under dev ?
Currently running a bounty campaign and logo contest. Will be petitioning exchanges soon to find a place to start trading aura. Need to harden Aura services and then focus will shift primarily to creating the YouStock platform. The Aura cryptocurrency is fairly self sustaining. Need to improve the explorer a bit, add network stats, token explorer, additional wallet support, an exchange and then it should be good. The YouStock platform is in very early stage development.

For now, how about the ICO? is that still available? Also how much is the price of the tokens?
There is no ICO. The only way to get aura right now is mining or participating in the bounty campaign/logo contest.

Total bounty allocation for 36000 AURA, out of 12000000, I think the number a little low. Is there any possibilities that the allocation for the bounty campaing will be increased?
12,000,000 is after two years. Right now there is only about 180,000 circulating supply. By the end of the campaign in a month there will be about 500,000 circulating. Currently costing about $1 to mine 1 aura.

Facebook Gives Crypto Ads the Thumbs Down. Facebook has issued an outright ban. As of a new ruling issued on January 30, “ads must not promote financial products and services that are frequently associated with misleading or deceptive promotional practices, such as binary options, initial coin offerings, or cryptocurrency”. The move is sure to be welcomed by Facebook users and bitcoin enthusiasts alike, who recognize that these adverts do little to promote the benefits of cryptocurrency. https://web.facebook.com/policies/ads/prohibited_content/prohibited_financial_products_and_servicesThat's weird, Facebook keeps prompting me to promote my project page. But I guess YouStock by itself is not a cryptocurrency.

Alright, just joined the Discord and Telegram. First time taking a coin seriously and I'm trying to get people I know to join the community. Just one question, what is the node (the download on the website) exactly?
Wallet: 0xd25bCFf24EfF861499DC80430613A3E2012A7036
Good luck everyone!
Welcome. The node is what's called a "full node", it downloads the entire blockchain and verifies all transactions and blocks. It's needed if you plan to solo mine. It's also a command line wallet, you can check balances and make transactions, but it doesn't have a nice GUI to do those things for you. The web wallet on the other hand doesn't require downloading the full blockchain, and has a more user friendly interface for sending/receiving aura and deploying smart contracts.

Good luck.. I reviewed the github and there's nothing new in the source code other than a new word "toauraer" and a few parameter changes. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Thanks for reviewing the sourcecode. Keep in mind, this project was never about creating a new blockchain protocol. Instead, this project is mainly about "tokenized selfhood" and "people stocks", although it is completely open to anything users want to build on it, just like ethereum. We decided to build on a separate blockchain to avoid the $2+ avg transaction fees we're now seeing on Ethereum, that will likely continue to increase as it continues to gain traction around the world. Splitting projects into separate chains like this is one solution to the scaling problem. If you're not involved in a particular subcommunity, you don't have to process their transactions.

This is a nice project, I think. I've opened your website and I found it's very impressive. May I know if you have a bounty thread here? Here's my AURA address: 0x89EDD57Bc042E95440278a0aBc48461c351F34e5 The terms of the bounty campaign are still being worked out. Expect an announcement in the next few days.

Turns out another project Aurora DOA has swooped up the AURA ticker this past week, so we need to decide on a new one.
Some contenders are: ARA, XAR, YOU
Please post which one you like best, or if you prefer something else.
