How has your political views changed during your lifetime?
43  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Well educated nation is the key? on: February 04, 2018, 10:19:06 AM
Education would be a great part to solve economic problems, but I think the main key is discipline.
I could say it in this way, people would love to loose weight. They tend to read magazine, different ways to loose weight, surf the net and try to read more and more and more. You can say that they are educated enough of how good diet really works. But usually, only 1 out of 5 people succeeded. Why? Because even if they have knowledge of what to do, 4 of that people don't have discipline. Discipline comes along with motivation. And I think our country needed that the most. There are many talented people here, well educated some, but one problem is they lack discipline. I can even include myself. For me, education will be a great help, but the key is always discipline.
44  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your favorite movie quote? on: February 03, 2018, 09:15:00 AM
My favorite movie quote from the movie "Ever After" 1998

Henry: Do you really think there is only one perfect mate?

Leonardo da Vinci: As a matter of fact, I do.

Henry: Well then how can you be certain to find them? And if you do find them, are they really the one for you or do you only think they are? And what happens if the person you're supposed to be with never appears, or, or she does, but you're too distracted to notice?

Leonardo da Vinci: You learn to pay attention.

Henry: Then let's say God puts two people on Earth and they are lucky enough to find one another. But one of them gets hit by lightning. Well then what? Is that it? Or, perchance, you meet someone new and marry all over again. Is that the lady you're supposed to be with or was it the first? And if so, when the two of them were walking side by side were they both the one for you and you just happened to meet the first one first or, was the second one supposed to be first? And is everything just chance or are some things meant to be?

I always think of most disciplined, most polite, most punctual people, good places to go,temples, cherry blossom, and healthy foods like raw foods, animes, and cosplaying. Japanese people is very hardworking as well and they really are focus during working hours. I think of all these whenever I think of Japan. Japan has it's own beauty and I would love to live there for good.  Smiley

48  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Willing Ka Ba Magbayad ng Buwis? on: January 20, 2018, 03:56:28 AM
49  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How do you equate the value of women today? on: January 16, 2018, 07:52:25 AM
Maybe we can start by knowing how to respect them. Nowadays, women have gotten less respected due to the trend of building modern society. People forgot that being a women had never been easy and it gets more difficult day by day especially when some just wants to hear that they can justify themselves by knowing what is just right, not by listening first. Women violence especially husbands murdering or violating their wives, rape victims, or simply not respecting their physical aspects has been highly addressed nowadays. To equally treat a woman is to know that all of us human being is equal. Knowing ourselves whether you are man or just simply a teenager will make us learn how to value each person. I salute all the mothers who committed to hardships of life just to give their daughters and sons, and their own parents value in theirselves.

Sometimes, I don't get why people still needs scientific explanation just to prove God. Is everything really answerable by science?  Huh
56  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Master Degree Important? on: January 13, 2018, 05:44:49 AM
If you are going to talk about credentials, it is a very good advantage especially when you are planning to push teaching- education specifically. Also, I think it also depends if a person wanted to have more learning's and focus on his specialization though there are only few companies and industries will only consider that nowadays. These companies I think have highs standardization of their line of work with high compensation at the same time.
57  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are your best memories? on: January 13, 2018, 04:04:53 AM
My best memories are : with my family; lying on the sand by the sea shore and looking at the sky; spending times with my friends who can make me laugh like there's no tomorrow; all the success that I have done even if those are really small, worshiping the Lord with my brothers and sisters in Christ; spending time with nature; cute times with my dog; talking about life with mom; doing crazy things with my sister and brother; my dad fetching me and driving home with him; fresh air every morning; looking at the sunset and sunrise; praying with tears; and LIFE
58  Other / Politics & Society / Re: benefits of meditation on: January 13, 2018, 01:56:48 AM
Whenever I try to meditate, I got easily distracted. As much as I want to, for my mind to relax as well, maybe I should have a mentor to be able to perform the meditation successfully.
59  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to be contented on what you have? on: January 10, 2018, 11:19:10 AM
As I observed myself it looks like I never stop on planning to buy new things that I dont have yet.
why is that? You can start separating all the things that are not really important from what is really important. You said "to buy new things", maybe you are pertaining to the material things. The thing is as long as it is there, it won't stop. Now-make "YOU" the key and answer these questions :
1. When you buy new things- do you feel that you and the others in society are in the same page or do you feel you're ahead of them?
2. When you buy new things- doe it make you happy, because if you do, you can find contentment with that.
3. Let me ask you again, why do you never stop buying those things-aren't you happy?
4. When you buy those things, do you feel LOVE? Because if you don't, maybe those are the things that you shouldn't be looking for.

Contentment and discontentment is everywhere, now you choose.
If you want to be contented- go to the things that is permanent. Happiness, Love, .. Family, Friends, maybe these are the things that you really want.
60  Other / Politics & Society / Re: God on: January 10, 2018, 09:15:14 AM
Since most of the topics here are mostly about religion, i too would like to create a topic with regards to this.

I would like to question those who consider God as something that is purely fictional. Why did you arrive to this kind of conclusion? Do you have any proofs as to why God is not real? If so, then how could humans existed ? Do you think we came from a single tiny organism? Which through time had landed in this perfectly habitual planet and started to grew body parts?

Im just curious and wanted to hear their side on this
I agree. . maybe people could easily say that. Whenever they talk about God, Faith, Religion, Going to Church- maybe they are expecting that people who believe doesn't have the right to commit mistakes anymore. Maybe they feel that there are no such thing or no one can forgive and love them again. They can easily say that God is fictional because maybe they based them on what they have been experiencing. They focus on things that their eyes only believed and because they don't see and feel GOD as other believers do, they can easily say NO to GOD, that there are only hardships in the world, that LOVE cannot exist because that's what they see and that's ONLY what they want to see. We cannot judge them quickly because maybe they have been in a situation when they wanted to believe, but they choose not to.
