41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best innovative new altcoin I should buy? on: March 18, 2017, 09:30:05 PM
Hello,

I'm looking for recent innovative alt-coins that I want to make a large investment in.

-It has to have a unique innovation or feature of some sort.

-A good community is a plus but not required.

Tell me the coins in the comments!

Thanks.

My advice is don't.

The problem with investing in altcoin is that most of them will carry an initial hype, with the ico and all the advertising going on with their professional dev team. But then afterwards as new altcoin come out the old ones slowly fades into the background.

Which makes altcoin not a very good long term investment in my opinion.

Right now the closest competitor would be ether. You could hedge yourself against the hard fork by buying into eth, but that's just what other people is saying, no concrete proof it's gonna work.
42  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: March 18, 2017, 09:27:11 PM
Trading is investing.

When you are trading no matter how short of a period of time you hold your wealth in a particular stock or altcoin you are still investing in that vehicle because you are still risking to lose All your money on that investment.

Trading is dangerous especially with margin, personally I do not have the balls of steel to trade with altcoin as they are so damn volatile.

See what's best for you yourself.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no competition on: March 18, 2017, 09:24:10 PM
Bitcoin does have competition no matter how you look at it even though these competitors might have no market shares at all compared to Bitcoin.

It is obvious when you are looking at alternative coins such as eth that people to see it is a way to hedge against the Bitcoin hard fork.

Especially when you look at it all the action going on about the hard fork usi many things that Bitcoin cannot achieve but alternative scan.

But none will ever have the repitation of bitcoin.
44  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is going to be good for Bitcoin some day, HODL on: March 18, 2017, 09:20:28 PM
Good time to do some trading imo, not necessarily holding.

But yeah, long term bitcoin is still bullish for me.
45  Economy / Economics / Re: So easy to make people panic. right? on: March 18, 2017, 09:17:21 PM
Well trading is full of emotions.

And when something major like this happens people will panic and sell even if it doesn't necessarily affect them at all.

Itd a good time to take your coins out of cold storage and do some trading action with it  Smiley
46  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-03-17] Nearly $2 billion has been wiped off bitcoin’s value in three days on: March 18, 2017, 09:14:26 PM
I remember when making the front page of Yahoo! was much more fun:

"Just under $2 billion has been wiped off the value of bitcoin (Exchange: BTC=-USS) in under three days as a fight over the future of the technology underpinning the cryptocurrency wages on.
..."
https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/nearly-2-billion-wiped-off-121914544.html

I hate it when they say something about a certain amount of wealth being wiped out.

The truth is that when someone loses money, others will be profiting.

Bitcoin traders can still hold Fiat, the bitcoin market cap does not mean the entire wealth of people trading btc's.

Inversely, short sellers are losing their wealth when the price goes up.

48  Economy / Speculation / Re: The rush to sell is real on: March 18, 2017, 09:06:03 PM
Title.

Never sell low philosophy is killing me.
Are you guys also getting crazy? Grin

(About BTC dive)

Btc's still high, nothing to worry about if you bought in last year at the $400 low.

But yes, something to worry about if you bought in at the ATH this year. I mean nothing you can do, just unlucky.
49  Economy / Lending / Re: newbie here need loan .01 btc (no collateral) on: March 18, 2017, 08:56:59 PM
i need to borrow .01 btc for bitminer.io, cause if i have to withdraw the fund it might take 30 months for i receive

ps. is bitminer.io realible?

Your title says it all.

'Newbie requesting a no collateral loan.'

You decide if anyone in their sane mind would lend to a newbie when even full members are loan scamming for 10 dollars.
50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we still gambling while we always lose? on: March 15, 2017, 08:50:29 AM
In gambling we just know about two things
These are
Win or lose
But the question is when you do betting
You always lose
You do realize about it but why we still go through on betting place?!!!
Apologoze if my topic have already exist it just about my interesting about your opinion about my experiences

Well it is something that human nature forces us to do. When we lose we experience emotions that makes us depressed but these emotions only lasts until you get more money for gambling. Then all the rules you set for yourself will be nullified and gone.

Your brain wants more dopamine. Your brain NEEDS dopamine, and in bigger and bigger amounts each time you gamble.

Gambling releases dopamine and that's why you keep gambling. It's a drug addiction frankly.
51  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you can control your self when playing gambling? on: March 15, 2017, 08:47:49 AM
While play gambling and lost, do you add more beting or stop play gambling? I always add more beting and deposit again, i can't control my self. Do you have suggesting for me?

Well the obvious choice and the logical choice should be stop gambling.

However the emotions involved tells us to bet more and more into the game, and that's how people lose all their life savings from gambling.

Just don't gamble what you can't afford to lose.
52  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE CASINO - CONGRATULATIONS TO WONTON FOR WINNING 300BTC on: March 15, 2017, 08:41:30 AM
Wow, 300 BTC at current prices is like half a million dollars.

Nice to see a legitimate and trustworthy casino operator that is able to pay out such huge sums without any hassles. The two other casino owners that I could trust 300 BTC with(I wish lol) would be doog and dean.

Anyways, good luck all!
53  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: March 15, 2017, 08:40:30 AM
My opinion is that once people sell stuff in bitcoin terms regardless of the price of bitcoins at the time, that's when bitcoin will really thrive as a cryptocurrency because the value is basically backed by merchants willing to sell stuff at a certain price.

But I don't think it's going to happen soon. Right now the best deal you can get is to buy direct with bitcoin, but with a fiat price tag still.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will save the elite. on: March 15, 2017, 08:39:23 AM
It is true that bitcoin will probably benefit the elite more than the average Joe.

That's something that we should work towards. Making sure that we are spreading the word about bitcoin and letting our family members and friends know about the amazing things you can achieve with the bitcoin network.
55  Other / Archival / Re: looking for a business partner to Online Casino on: March 15, 2017, 08:38:28 AM
We have a working online casino with its own license in the euro area. Our team needed to have cooperation with partners will be interested to invest in advertising and get persentage of profit.

What do you mean "invest in advertising"?

Do you realise the fact that there are so many competitors out there that is so much better than you guys, that you guys will probably never beat?

Any plans yet? You should post your plans publicly so everyone can see.
56  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know about next pump? on: March 15, 2017, 08:37:19 AM
I am keen to know how to find which coin is going to get pumped next and when.
Is it possible to know for sure?has anyone here predicted accurately about next pump?

There are traders that seem to know the patterns of pump and dumps.

But simply speaking there is no way. These traders pose as experts and release "altcoin picks" that is based off nothing. You see that pick posted by such a professional trader, you go buy some, Joe goes buy some, and the price rises as a result of him posting picks.
57  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Whether anyone believe???? on: March 15, 2017, 08:36:13 AM
Whether you believe if you Continuously Buying The same number, one day you can win the lottery. there i read some stories much people can being rich by using this way.

Whether or not you buy the same lottery number every time round doesn't affect the fact that lottery is a severely -EV game, in fact you are better off playing roulette or blackjack than to buy lottery tickets statistically speaking.

Lottery tickets will never get you rich. Just don't buy that stuff and get something that can make you happy each day instead
58  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-03-14]Another Bitcoin ETF Deadline is Already Approaching on: March 15, 2017, 08:30:02 AM
Another Bitcoin ETF Deadline is Already Approaching

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is set to make another bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) decision later this month.

New York-based startup SolidX revealed last July that it was filing to list a bitcoin ETF on the New York Stock Exchange, seeking to sell as much as $1m worth of shares. The firm raised $3m in late 2014 in a bid to sell financial products tied to the digital currency.

Yet the SEC delayed a decision on that proposed offering in September, punting forward a determination until 30th March.

Interesting.

However as the current ETF has already been rejected I think this one will probably be rejected as well.

And also the ETF turned out to not have that much of an impact on the BTC price anyways after the rejection, so there will be less speculation this time round.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you track coins getting into an exchange and out? on: March 15, 2017, 08:24:09 AM

I'm tracking the coins I've sent to a friend who wants to bet online in exchange for the hard cash he had. This friend asked for bitcoin for which his prime reason is to bet NBA games, later did I learn he sold his btc for higher price to someone on facebook and now he was scammed.

If this has been asked before please provide the link because I have been dying to track the coins I've sent. Its been sent to bittrex exchange but will an exchange help me find what yo are looking for or am I on my own?

The short answer is no.

This is in direct conflict with the privacy conditions that the exchanges may or may not have, especially if it's a small amount under $10k they will not bother looking into it for you.

Just make sure your friends knows how many scammers are out there, before he makes any deals.
60  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I grow my btc? on: March 11, 2017, 10:17:20 PM
The most obvious way is to gamble, it is the stupidest way.

I'd say that you grow your bitcoins by working for them and working really hard for them. Don't expect your bitcoins to come free any day.

If you work at a fast food chain for 5 hours a day, thats $50. Thats around 0.04 BTC per day. Not bad, huh?

Ptu in your hard work. There is no magic method.
