Only test on an empty wallet when you import the privkey, if unsure don't try it

Can some of you help me test out the paperwallet? Please be careful, do not send your life savings! XD I have not even tested it myself yet baring the fact it seems to produce a kryptkoin address.

Logos are still that of Netcoin, I will work on getting them changed now, I will need something to put on the actual wallet, if you print one off you will see what you need.  Click the paper wallet tab, then hit generate. It might or might not help to select hide art.

I will need some logo to go where you see the Netcoin logo too.

Please remember just test it with 1 coin or something, this is not even tested yet.

EDIT: I have an online wallet I bet I could convert too thinking about it... and if you get listed on coinpayments I can add you to my casino http://www.ecasino.io/ Only problem is it will give convert to Netcoin. I can only payout in Netcoin currently.

Thanks!  Wink

I MIGHT be able to knock up a simple paperwallet like the one we have for Netcoin here... http://paperwallet.netcoinfoundation.org/

It should just be a matter of changing a few params. As you can tell I didn't make this one, but I hold the files to this one and run the server it is on. Besides it can be found on github anyway. Think it started life as a digitalcoin paperwallet. If I go have a look and get you the params I need can you find that info out?

EDIT: I'll edit this post with the required info as I go through it, still can't promise anything XD

GitHub Repository:

(neither are absolutely needed but you should do it)

I think I might have found the important params, at least a few I have. I will need the following...

Bitcoin.Address.networkVersion = 0x70; // mainnet

ECKey.privateKeyPrefix = 0xf0; // mainnet 0xb0    testnet 0xEF

51 characters base58, always starts with a '9'

So Krypt Koins network version, it's private key prefix and base58 characters.

HeY Mee, thanks for helping this coin with your skills!!

My very amateur skills XD

No problem, seems like a nice coin to me. I think if I can get the above info I can have the paper wallet done in no time, the rest is just find/replace names and change the logo and you can add a wallet design, if you go to netcoins paperwallet and click the paper wallet tab, then generate you will see the paper wallet art there. I'm not too sure where that is at but I'm sure I'll find it. Once I do I should have the dimensions so someone can make one for Krypt Koin.

I'll post up some bounties today for translation and articles etc.

Also can someone who sent KTK to sharexcoin, let me know which address you sent to please asap?

thats the problem ,
i never sent ktk to sharex  Grin
sent BTC to sharex from bittrex, bought some ktk and try to withdrawal (withdrawal = null)
hope we can trace sharex ktk address to warn other exchange (like qora did from what i read, and they can manage to freeze zip account @poloniex),
gonna be big dumping problem if we cannot manage to trace it  Undecided

The entire coin only has 17 million out currently... So I don't think it will have any effect whatsoever, with the price at such a low point for the volume. Still sucks all the same for those that lost their coins. Sad

Yes, that's how it will be done
Yes, no need to do anything, if required I'll pm people.
No
Both perfectly fine  Wink

Awesome, thanks.

Will be done today! Wink

ey, hi to everyone! Ptselle, i like your stickers!! fine!!!!    Cheesy

thanks buddy hope Dev soon add few of them on OP Tongue

No, list 1 will receive first 2k on Tues 10th. List 2 will start from 13th.

so tomorrow holders will receive the first reward for keeping the coin for one week right?

Sorry can you explain a little about that? Or someone please...

What do you have to do to qualify, I mean I get keeping the coins in your wallet and that. But are you just checking peoples addresses against the block ex? Is it automatic? Do we need to come here and show proof? Also what about if I merged my blocks back together? by sending all the smaller blocks back to the same address?

Thanks

So I let my stake split again into 8 blocks and they all made stake but seems there was a little blip as 3 of the 8 were orphaned. Sad

I'm not sure if this is normal for POS or not. But thought I would come and tell you anyway. The Network rate still seems way off too. Are there any plans to try to fix that or is it something that works itself out as the network grows?

Hey, I have hard orphan blocks on just about every POS coin I've had, seems normal to me Smiley

Okay I see, cool cool, I just thought that seemed a tad high having 3 our of 8 be orphaned.

But yeah I know that orphans are normal in POS XD

I remember on CGB I had 4 in a row Sad

Right, that's good then, at least it is normal, even if it does suck to get them XD

EDIT: Anyone tried to get listed on cryptsy yet? Even though right now it appears to be broken!.... Again XD

I like cryptsy But I think we should stick to bittrex and attract some support first Smiley

Well, I am in a cryptsy skype room or 2 so I can drop some hints in there, I see no reason to not get listed there, they have a lot of volume and I think it could get Krypt Koin some good attention.

EDIT: Plus I don't trade anywhere else XD

That because you you are the NET man lol - I also have some  Wink

NET is traded on other exchanges lol

I am just used to cryptsy to be honest and I think sometimes it is better the devil you know. And glad to hear you still have some. Just to let you know we made some progress last night (conversion wise) set the testnet up and so will be making some changes and testing over the next week or two.

Don't worry, that is perfectly normal.
Orphans are produced if accidentally two or more different wallets want to mint at the exactly same block.
Happened to me as well, with KTK I have 8 orphans so far, 3 of them coming in a row, and then another 2 together.
Statistically, it should even out once you have many minted blocks.

Btw., Dev may I propose one more update to the wallet:
a stat that counts number of each type of transactions: received, minted, etc.

Yes I know how orphans are created but thanks XD lol

Yay... Okay I staked... But you may or may not find this interesting... My first stake with a 30,000 block was 12.66, then that block was split into 2 15,000 blocks (roughly, the 12.66 coins is split too. And now my stake for the 2 blocks is 2.19 each...

You see? 2 seperate blocks gets 4.4 roughly compared to 12 coins for 1 block... The 12 coin stake could have been a fluke though. So when these blocks mature I'll combined them into one again and see how it changes.

same, i received, 9 at first then 5 from two minintg, then 5 again from 4 minting ecc...

Yeah there is a optimal level somewhere it'll be interesting to see... Oh there is another thing to consider... If you had one block only of 30,000 you COULD get an orphan and thus not get any stake at all... whereas with 2 or more blocks you'll still get something for the others.

don't forget about the age of the stake at the time of creating coins. Probably your first stake was much older than the next two.

I find it highly unlikely seeing as the first time I staked within a few hours, but it could be the network weight was not as high at that time. I guess all these factors come into play... It will be interesting to see though.

It is clear though from the hobonickels wiki that the smaller the blocks you will get less from the stake... If you read that you should see the explanation... But the crux is you can use coin control to optimize your staking.

just had 6 stakes into my wallet Smiley

Yeah and those 6 blocks that staked will now be 12 blocks after they mature... You should look into coin control, it is not a problem at the minute but your blocks will get smaller and smaller and your stake will get smaller and smaller for each block. If you are staking okay then it would seem it is a reporting issue only. Which is not so bad, but still needs fixing.

I will look at coincontrol at the weekend, cheers for the heads up Smiley

No problem, the hobonickels link is a few comments up and a very good explanation of POS in general but also it explains coin control.

Okay fury muff, but how can you have more weight than the network... This part I don't really get, I would have thought the network weight is all our weight combined no? Much like the network hashrate on pow... Or is this not the case...

I fully get the maturing and stake splitting etc.
It's about chances to find new coins. Think of it as you have more hashrate (bigger weight) your chance of finding new block are bigger. You may, theoretically find it even with very low hash rates (low weight) but your chances are smaller, respectively.

This was nothing to do with my question... I get all that! XD

My question is this... how can YOU 1 person have MORE weight than the entire network? This is impossible as you are part of the network... Is the network weight the combined weight of us all? I mean it must be! Like the network hashrate...

I mean please stop thinking I am a noob that doesn't understand the very basics because I do... I have done a lot of research and tried out various POS coins... I have NEVER seen my weight above that of the network... apart from this coin of course... Is your wallet out of sync btw?

EDIT: Re-loaded the wallet and I'm now in sync again and the stats are showing I have more weight than the network now too. I really think that is not right. I'm not 100% sure though.

EDIT: I think that it is not showing the correct network weight, this is why the time to stake figures are off too... I don't know what could cause that but I can ask around a little for an explanation.
