41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ICO vs Bad ICO on: October 28, 2020, 02:26:43 PM
In every token sale that's coming in, ICO, IEO, DEFI, or any kind of project token sale there will always be good and bad ones. So as investors we need to do our part, DO OUR OWN RESEARCH on every project we are investing in. Don't just rely on how hype is the promotion of the project. Check the website, whitepaper, roadmap, tokenomics, team members, and so on. Join also their community and make a discussion there.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal might issue its own cryptocurrency soon, says CoinShares exec on: October 28, 2020, 11:40:42 AM
I think this is a sign that Paypal is going to launch its own digital currency in the next months or could be early next year. If this happens it wouldn't be a surprise anymore. Toyota already announced that they will launch its own digital currency. So if Toyota will do no wonder Paypal will do also. And this is a great action from Paypal then.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Defi project like game pump and dump on: October 27, 2020, 03:16:05 PM
Agreed with you, DEFI projects are just like a game of pump and dummmmmmmmmmmmmmpppppppp.... Well, for me it is a hype scheme of the project like luring the investors, and what worst is when the token dumped no one can stop it (Lol). So if you're going to invest in DEFI project make sure that you can exit before it will be falling so hard. Profit is profit just take it rather than losing all your funds.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be a wise investor on: October 27, 2020, 11:40:10 AM
We should all be a wise investor, not a greedy one. Let's not get into easy getting rich schemes so we avoid getting scammed. We've seen lots of investors who want to get rich so easily and they just failed because of that. As many sayings invest only what you can afford to lose but sometimes people invest as much as they want to get profit not knowing if they will lose they will have nothing in the end.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops Confusion on: October 26, 2020, 12:02:32 PM
Though Airdrop and bounty campaigns can both get a free token as a reward they are still different from each other as for the mechanic's condition. For airdrop, you will only have one specific task and most of the time they have referrals, while bounty you need to finish a certain period of time to do tasks, and sometimes you also need to submit a report every week. They will check your stake according to what you reported.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies have the lowest transaction fees? on: October 26, 2020, 10:13:42 AM
I've been using XRP most of the time before, not only because it has fast transaction but also it has lower fees cost USD 0.0002, and peaked at USD 0.42. That's XRP's average transaction fee. And now I found out about TRON which has zero transaction fees. And you can even send a million dollars in TRX to anywhere in the world in seconds and never have to pay a fee. That's really amazing right while the ETH gas fee as of now is rising a lot.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Think before joining any campaign on: October 25, 2020, 02:07:41 PM
They are using UNISWAP to hype the promotion of the project since getting listed on UNISWAp is the trending way nowadays but as a veteran in the bounty hunter, we must know already how to avoid getting involved with scam project using those platform. I am not saying that all projects using UNISWAp are a scam, let's just be keen on choosing a project to join. Let's avoid getting lure by these kinds of projects, study very well each project that we are joining.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you find out about new projects? on: October 25, 2020, 11:15:19 AM
Hi everyone, I mostly participate in public token sales, so I need to know about the start of sales as early as possible to prepare. I wonder how you learn about new projects? I am particularly interested in how people learn about projects that only have a discord channel. Or do you follow the investment of any funds? Maybe there are some informational subreddits? Let's share useful sources!

Here is my list which makes it easier for me to find:

1 - CryptoDiffer - The list is not very relevant, some projects have already undergone public sale of tokens.

https://twitter.com/CryptoDiffer

2 - ICO Analytics - News and analysis channel.

3 - Generation Crypto - News and analysis channel.

4 - Site Polka Project - Allows you to track new projects projects related to Polkadot system.

5 - Cryptodaku

6 - ICO Drops

7 - CryptoRank News

8 -  Top 7 ICO

I trusted Bitcointalk for that thing and as far as I know, there is a topic opened here where all good projects are being listed. All you need to do is check those projects and decide whether to participate or not. There's also a discussion here where you can join. By the fact that being put in that discussion you can start your own research to choose the project, you will participate or join.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal customers will be able to use BTC, ETH and other cryptos to pay merchants on: October 24, 2020, 01:00:45 PM
This is really good news to all the crypto people, Paypal allowed users to buy and sell at the same time holding Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies on their platform. This will definitely encourage more users and people who don't involve yet in crypto to use global virtual coins. And just imagined how many users does Paypal has, it's more than 300million users.
50  Economy / Exchanges / Re: OKEX suspended withdrawals, why these exchanges do not offer insurance on: October 24, 2020, 10:56:58 AM
It's nearly 9 days now since the withdrawals of funds from their platform been suspended and lots of users already getting out of their patience though they released updates every day. Just sad with the statement they are releasing because there's no specific reason why the suspension of withdrawals happened and they have no statement also on how long users need to wait for the withdrawal function will be up. Some users saying the statement is useless. So sad to hear the sentiments of the users.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Bad Exchanges on: October 21, 2020, 01:40:56 PM
There are a lot of cryptocurrencies exchanges controversies in the past months and days as well. One issue is that they are manipulating the volume of trades on their platform, another is luring the users using their campaigns. And lots of allegations to their heads or management. Just recently is the issue of Okex which suspended the withdrawals and that caused so many worries from their users, as of today withdrawals from their platform still closed. So let's wait for their action in the next days. Hopefully, it will get fixed ASAP.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bahamas becomes the next nation to launch National Digital Currency on: October 21, 2020, 11:55:09 AM
They announced that last month that the Central Bank of The Bahamas is planning to launch a national cryptocurrency across its entire archipelago this month. They planned that so hard to obtain the first country in the world to launch the National Digital Currency. Let's just wait for their official announcement from them this month, it's been only 9 days left for the month of October. Let's see.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think we have more bounty hunters now because of the pandemic on: October 20, 2020, 11:58:13 AM
I guess so because of the pandemic situation we are in now most people just stayed at home and they have more time to spend online. So instead of just browsing things online, they spend their time doing bounty which they are hoping to get some reward somehow. And one more thing there are lots of people who lose jobs and bounty give them a little hope to earn while waiting for them to go back to their real jobs. I just hope they find a good and legit project that will compensate them.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap isn't safe for newbies who don't want to learn on: October 20, 2020, 08:43:59 AM
Coinmarketcap is a price-tracking website for crypto assets or it what we called a provider of real-time data for cryptocurrency. Coinmarketcap has LEARN and EARN features, that guide users and investors on their investments but it will still depend on the users or investors to decide whether to invest in such a project or not. The users or investors still the one who is responsible to check whether if a project is legit or fake. In the first place, most users/investors visit coinmarketcap to track the prices of their coins and see where exchanges it was listed.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Portfolio before and after the pandemic on: October 19, 2020, 01:14:58 PM
The pandemic caused so much circus in the crypto industry especially in the market. Not all in my portfolio are in good condition now, there are some coins that's going better but most of my coins/tokens are disrupting to the max. It's like I lose x7 in my protfolio that's so sad. Despite that I didn't lose hope at all (Lol), I am still waiting for it to recover.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why hesitate ???? on: October 19, 2020, 10:25:15 AM
Profit is profit no matter how much it is, always remember that. In the world of crypto it is good to hodl while waiting for the ATH, but if you can see that you are already gain and you want to take profit then go. Don't hesitate to take the profit anymore. You can set again to buy back at its dip price. Don't be so greedy.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I like to collect the token on: October 18, 2020, 02:00:53 PM
Well, it depends on the person who's doing that. Maybe keeping a token on their wallet already became their hobby instead of using it for trade. As for me sometimes I am hodling tokens depends on the usage of it or when I belive it will have good future. If not I prefer to buy and sell instead and taking profits from it.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most searched cryptocurrencies on Google on: October 18, 2020, 06:57:28 AM
Bitcoin search on google remains the most trend and still got the highest rating. It is because of people's eyes on the world's largest cryptocurrency which is the Bitcoin. So Bitcoin is always the most trending topics on search engines and social media, es[ecially now that many traders and investors are waiting for Bitcoin to hit back 20000$ again or even break it.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ARE ICOS STILL LEGIT? on: October 17, 2020, 11:12:34 AM
There are still some good projects that are running ICO's nowadays. Last year IEO's became popular and now it's the DEFI who's on trending. But even ICO's is no longer trending now we can still find legit projects who's into ICO. All we need to do is study depth about the project for us to avoid getting scammed.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: btc vs ethereum on: October 17, 2020, 09:49:42 AM
We can't compare Bitcoin and Ethereum, they are both good coin on their own usage. In fact, they could complement each other, and asset diversification reduces risk. Bitcoin and Ethereum are both are valuable and worth paying for, and both tradeoffs are worth making based on the respective rewards.
