43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Different wallets that accept altcoin? on: January 23, 2018, 12:54:12 AM
Can you guys help me I want to know is there any more wallets that accept altcoin?

Except myetherwallet? I searched the internet and no proper results that would satisfy me only resusts of the definition private key and things to know about it. Or if I am not mistaken myetherwallet is the only one that can be access by private key?

Every blockchain is different. MyEtherWallet is an Ethereum wallet that is accessed through an Ethereum private key. All wallets have private keys.

46  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to trade? on: January 22, 2018, 06:56:05 PM
Hi Smiley how to trade in cryptocurrency and how much the capital to start trading Smiley thank you

Hey jlqueen, welcome to Bitcointalk.

Trading is very complicated and nobody learns how to trade overnight. It takes practice and skills and a whole lot of learning. You should start with a small amount of capital, and never invest more than you can afford to lose. You will make mistakes, the key is to learn from your mistakes.

Good luck on your trading journey!
47  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why does it grow? on: January 22, 2018, 05:48:38 AM
It was low yesterday, but it grew today. What is the reason? Is it because people started buying too much?

When people buy alot, the prices go up. When people sell alot, the prices go down. It's almost possible to predict the day to day movements of the stock market.
48  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: softwares like blockfolio? on: January 21, 2018, 10:58:46 AM
I have no problem with blockfolio. it's because I'm new and I'm informing myself by asking questions.

In my opinion Blockfolio is the best one. There's another one called altfolio, but it's not as good. Blockfolio seems to be the best and most popular app for tracking cryptocurrencies.
49  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MASTERNODE???? on: January 21, 2018, 01:31:21 AM
I want to learn the advantages of what is called 'MASTERNODE'

I ask the experts to explain this to me.
I really appreciate every detail and explanation you give.

because I hear a lot of big profit and investment security gained from coins that have masternode.

REGARDS!

Masternodes help process transactions on the network and are paid out a part of the block mining reward for holding a set amount of collateral.

51  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie Interested on Mining on: January 20, 2018, 10:20:19 AM
Hi, i am new on this forum.. i dont know much about bitcoins but i been watching some videos already on Youtube.
And i am interested to learn more about Mining.
can anyone give me some advice on how to start?

Mining is quite easy to do at the lower level (you can mine on your computer/laptop) but it gets quite complicated when scaling up. You can mine somewhat efficiently on a powerful gaming computer. But then there's real miners. It requires a large industrial space to run miners. Miners are very loud and require massive amounts of electricity. To do it at this level you need a warehouse, electrical work, and a proper cooling system.

Hello Crypto Pioneers,

I'm looking to go from zero to hero in the crypto world by understanding how to maximize this space, i'm hoping you experts (or fellow newbies) can help point me in the direction of some solid information on how to better understand and profit from Crypto.

I purchased a book arriving tomorrow, and also a course from Udemy, any book, or course or experts you guys recommend, greatly appreciated.

I'll try and help all my new friends on the forum here as much as I can.

Make sure to read Digital Gold by Nathaniel Popper. The crypto classic.

Read about Bitcoin, Blockchain, Ethereum, and Smart-contracts. Those will be some solid starting points. Good luck on your crypto journey!
53  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to send bitcoin Quickly? on: January 19, 2018, 03:46:15 AM
Where did you send it to, and where did you send it from? 3 days is very unusually long. Bitcoin transfers are generally much faster than this.
54  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Warning to all Email users. on: January 19, 2018, 03:07:35 AM
Sorry to hear it! So unfortunate. Many stories about people who lost Bitcoin for various reasons. Always backup your private keys!
55  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are online wallets where you keep the private key safe on: January 19, 2018, 12:50:30 AM
As per the title, are online wallets where you keep the private key as safe as installing a wallet on your desktop? Blockchain.info is an example?

With the recovery key, could you import the address into another wallet?

It may be considered less safe because the key has been sent thru the internet vs. generated locally on your desktop. But still, it is likely safe. You can use the key to import the address in to any wallet.

57  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to get involved with bitcoin on: January 18, 2018, 11:39:15 PM
Start by learning about Bitcoin and the underlying blockchain technology. You can buy your first Bitcoin from Coinbase.com - buy in small at first. Having some will make you more aware of the market. Good luck, and remember it's all about learning!

Promising project with a great vision. Pure POS is likely the future of cryptocurrency. Interesting that it is a skunkhash coin.
