Just what I was thinking. Good thermal paste removal and reapplication can't be understated. First of all, I don't want to do business with bitpay because they are in bed with BFL. Second, there are a lot of other things going on in the background that need to be taken care of, i.e datacenter, cash flow, lawyers, MSD, customer service, just to name a few.

I'm thinking about purchasing an additional 100k , but it's a gamble right now. Share price is super cheap and the slightest bit of good news can move them up in a positive way
+1 It's amazing to think I could almost double my entire stash of ActiveMining at these price points. Kinda sad. Might be sad when you don't double your stash. Have you seen what DTS has been through over the past year? And you are telling him to tie up even more money that he can't afford into this amateurish outfit? You freely admit the company is dead unless we have a huge spike in BTC price in the next 12months (I very much doubt we could last a full 12months at these prices) and that is in NO WAY guaranteed. You have miss-managed ACtM into a deep deep pit yet you are still encouraging people to put even more money into this? You said you were not buying shares yourself - mmm So my question is - are you SELLING any shares right now? No, I am not selling any shares and AMC/VMC is not selling any shares at the moment. |

Do you guys plan on removing the products on your website which have been scrapped?
Also plan on removing the false advertising? This uses a hashfast processor not a fasthash one. Also doubt it is 0.8w/gh at the board level.
And 750gh +-20% means this chip could theoretically reach 900gh/s yet HF has yet to even break 800gh.
We are OEMing the chip, @jimmothy do you know what that means? Just for you information it means that we can relabel it with our own name on it. That is not false advertising this is done everyday. We are in the process of updating our site as you have seen with the new products. As soon as our new front page is up, we will be taking down the old products. |

Has AMC / VMC purchased any shares? Thanks Ken for clarifying. If Ken had the cash flow to purchase some of these shares it would be in the companies and thus investors best interest that he does so. But of course you'd have to measure the use of funds comparing the other opportunity costs vs the decrease in outstanding liabilities. Right now I'm assuming Ken needs the funds to continue to evolve the business and that decreasing future liabilities are a ways down on the list. No AMC/VMC has not purchased any shares at this point. |

Well, if Ken bought as many shares as he could get at current prices, he would get away with a lot less than 25,000 btc to be paid out as dividends.
Sort of... the shares would still have to be paid dividends... just would go right back into the company coffers... it would enable him to pay down the "owed" amount sooner. Unless of course he's buying shares with his own money... which at this point would just be dishonest. And that is 100% ok in my book. The more shares Ken buys (if so) will encourage him to do well and in effect he will become rich if the company survives. Because it's unlikely we'll ever pay back 0.0025 Ken needs to own as many of the original 10,000,000 shares so he has more skin in the game. I hope it's Ken buying the cheap shares. I have not purchased any shares at this point. |

Is there a plan to upgrade the AC to bring more th online?
Next couple of days, we have racks ready to start up tomorrow, which we could not run due to the heat. As far as the AC, that is all we have in this datacenter; however, we should be able to run this and and have income of ~$600,000 is the next year at the current price of bitcoins. What we are expecting is that during the next year bitcoins will go up in price. |

wow what a great exit price you're all getting on your shares… your original money had to have gone somewhere right? oh well guess it was just another trickle-up scheme. My conclusion: Never ever ever trust anyone ever again in the bitcoin "mining industry" …they all look shady as fuck.Personally I don't see how anyone can sell at the current prices. Depending on where you originally bought, people are getting just pennies on every dollar they invested. If you think there is even a small chance that this stock can at least temporarily spike up based on some good news/bitcoin's price rising rapidly, then I don't see how you can sell for <0.0001 like people are right now. I for one would lose close to 80 BTC if I were to sell right now, eff that. I hope you're right but I cannot see how anyone will ever take this or any bitcoin mining company seriously again. The pool has been sitting at 80TH for a long time now, when 170TH was supposed to be fully operational by now That is because of the AC, which just got fixed today. Also, I have said that our max due to the AC is 120-150 TH. |
