41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Advice for Bounty participants on: January 23, 2019, 03:47:04 PM
I understand everything has not bloomed and bloomed well
But let’s endeavor to be at an alert because in crypto currency

When you are tired weak and feeble, that is when good and valuable projects pass you by
But when you are excited to work, you get only peanuts project

So work now that you are weak
Persevere and don’t burn your opportunity because of short term  comfort

I am not really affected by the down but i am sure a majority of the hunters are affected by this drop and think that crypto will not be surviving anymore. Persevere should be the key to profit think about why you come into this trade do not be affected by the drop.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Hunters Dump Always? on: January 09, 2019, 01:44:40 PM
Do all bounty hunters dump Cryptos after they get paid?

I believe this is not a fair assessment as a lot has to do with the crypto project itself.

Its a matter of perspective really, not all bounty hunters have the same experience or motive, some people just need an opportunity to get crypto for projects that are very difficult to get in the token sales, Example is Ncash tokens of Nucleus.Vision the project has a 1 million USD budget and it is still above ICO price even in the bear market.

Additionally some projects treat bought hunters badly which will not encourage them to stick around for much longer after they get their tokens.

I believe tokens or coins getting dumped by bounty hunters depends a lot on the project itself.

I am confused why bounty hunter is being label as coin dumpers when coins is being allocated to each individual they have the freedom to keep it or dump it and it is their freedom to do so and not being blame Investors might also do so too, and some of them might have their own way of buying and selling of coins and should not be blame.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hardworking pays not luck on: January 09, 2019, 01:39:48 PM
We don't want luck we want to get paid for hardworking ,bounty that was once about how hardworking has now turn to 'how lucky you are' ,something must be done about this ,any ideas??? Since all devs makes use of Bitcointalk forum to advertise and draw people attention bitcointalk will Be the easiest strong wall standing between scammers and investors

Hardworking might change its form in this bear market but what i know is that when you are hardworking that does not equal to getting substantial reward but if you totally let go off hardwork you will surely gain nothing.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good recent bounty campaigns? on: January 09, 2019, 01:37:09 PM
Hi friends,
many bounty hunters are complaining about bounty campaigns, that most of them are not profitable and so on.
Could someone here recommend to us some good recent bounty campaign?
It would be nice to get some tips here.

Thanks to everyone!

I cannot be sure the bounty that i am participating in now is a good bounty so i better don't mislead anyone here. However i believe every bounty hunters have a different views for qualifying a good bounty. Some might look into the technology while others look at the team or even the product.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long does it take to become a pro on: January 08, 2019, 08:25:41 AM
Being a pro and time is not on constant variable. To be a pro in crypto definitely needs time but the time is equals to how fast and how good you can pick up the skills needed. If you are not able to lear well even 55-10 years later you will not be a pro as well.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worst year of trading for me damn on: January 08, 2019, 08:21:05 AM
So after the bearish market came
I've been holding more alts than BTC/ETH

Coins like COSS, NANO, CND and etc
I been making loss and missing out most of the pump because i sell these coins and convert it to ICON (ICX) which i waited it to be move
So basically after everytime i sold my specific alts, few days later it went 100%   Shocked

NANO, bought at 0.011 ETH i sold at 0.005 ETH, 7 days later, it went up to 0.013 ETH. Hold for almost 6 months and sold, it went up after 7 days.
Same to NANO, COSS

Everytime i sold, within days to 1/2 week
It pumped like crazy

Just like COSS
Sold off 100k at 28 ETH last week
Today 100k COSS priced at 53 ETH

Holy i been making huge losses in 2018  Cheesy Sad Shocked Cool Cool

Don't make this setback forbid you from moving forward but turn it into a valuable lesson for your future trading, what i can advise you is that maybe you should have a plan before you venture into any coin. For example strictly cash out at how many % profit and let the rest run.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we compensate bounty hunters when ICOs fail? on: January 08, 2019, 08:16:01 AM
It is a common thing to see most ICOs stating in their whitepaper that the monies of investors will be refunded to them in case the ICO is not able to reach its softcap. Sadly bounty hunters work for like eight weeks or even more and their efforts go waste. Do you agree they should also be compensated?

I like this idea, as a bounty hunter this idea will ensure us doing jobs that is futile. But which ICO or who will be responsible for this payment and with this being implement i am sure the bounty hunter participants will be very limited.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding multiple altcoins on: January 05, 2019, 02:19:27 PM
Many of us prefer to hold multiple kind of coins. What do you prefer: holding it in a sigle kind of wallet or have it on a different kind of wallet?

Personally, I prefer to store in an opensource multi wallet that support all my preferred coin and even ERC20 token, its the only opensource multiwallet available called Hodler and so far I find it good. Do you think, this is really good idea?

What i think is that if a wallet can hold many different platform coins it will always be an advantage compare to a wallet that can only hold coins one platform it is convenient to transfer coins to and fro.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you believe this is the highest bottom ? on: January 04, 2019, 01:47:27 PM
As per Charts , I believe this is the highest bottom we are touching. if we see 7 days charts there is a grow.  Most are touching now 90-95% decrements.

how about your views ?

My view on this is that most probably a higher bottom has not surface yet. Why i have this thinking is due to the market sentiment and crypto friends around me are all very bearish at the current moment only more new blood can save this.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: before investing speak to a specialist on: December 31, 2018, 05:37:59 PM
many young folks go on see a pump. fomo and buy in thinking they will be rich. before investing try to speak to someone knows about investing.  maybe they can talk u out of it. save ur self a few thousands perhaps.  not all investing grow on trees not even crypto.

Yes i believe speaking to a specialist before you want to invest in anything is a good way to start your investment. However i think the most important thing is that as an investor yourself either you leave it to a professional to handle your portfolio or you should learn the stuffs that you are investing in.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I've just put ALL my student savings into TURTLECOIN ($50K) on: December 31, 2018, 05:32:23 PM
Hello friends, I'm Johnny

In 6 months I'm graduating from high school with nice marks, excellent feedback from professors and all careers open for me. But you know what? I'm fucking out man. I'm not going to university. I've just invested my whole hard-earned student savings into Turtlecoin at 2 satoshis or roughly $ 0.00008 per turtle. My low-class parents hard worked for a good education for me and I've just spent the whole shit into something called Turtlecoin, ya know what I mean right?

The thing is that we've been discussing with my family during the last 3 fucking months about which fucking career to choose in order to make big fucking money when I'm old. Doctor, lawyer, broker, blah blah blah. All them promising careers but with a huge fucking initial cost and no real guarantee that's gonna provide me what I want to be: A FUCKING THUG LIFE MILLIONAIRE.

I mean which is the interesting part in being a millionaire after working 40 fucking years with a fucking narrow suit the whole time and obeying orders from superiors the WHOLE FUCKING LIFE?

There's no fucking point ya know what I mean--- So I decided to put those roughly $ 50K into the best promising crypto coin that I've found in these 3 months: TURTLE-FUCKING-COIN. No ICO, no premine, NO SHIT MAN! Such a nice community, nice fucking devs and nice fucking whales (hehe, I just found your plan  Wink).

I've been watching crypto for a year now and I've been deeply studying all the fucking cryptopatters outthere. Been reading the whole fucking dogecoin bitcointalk thread YA KNOW WHAT I MEAN?

It's SO FUCKiNG OVBIOUS that trutlecoin is gonna make a X100-X1000 from here in the next crypto bull run. THERES NO DOUBT. 0. When is it gonna come? 2 years? 3? 5? WHO THE FUCK CARES MAN, I'm just 17. in 5 years I'll just be 22 and with bigger pockets than my fucking penis, which is quite difficult honestly.

My parents obviously are so fucking angry right now. In fact, they're kicking my ass from home and from everything after I graduate from high school in 6 months. I understand em' and I accept it. I will start working on mcdonalds & other shit during these hodl years and I'm gonna do a lot of fucking shit till I get my reward. But ya know what? When I'm 22 I will buy a fucking mansion with my turtles, a fucking lambo, a fucking financial freedom, A FUCKING LIFE, while my classmates will end up with a fucking huge student debt and the fucking reality of our system punching their fucking faces. I'M OUT FUCK TAT

You can save this message, snapshot it. It's christmas day of the year 2018. Turtles are going to a cold wallet for the next 2-5 years. I'm going to start taking a fucking job in Mcdonalds.

And yes, remember that fucking thread and remember my name: I'M JOHNNY MCTURTLE, THE FUCKING LEGEND

I admire youor courage to put your entire student savings into crypto, i believe crypto works in a cycle like every investment you known. But i think your decision of putting everything into that coin even if the coin is able to perform exceptionally well in the coming years but since it is coming years you cannot be sure that in between there will not be any problem at all.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it good to buy after ICO because price may drop? on: December 30, 2018, 10:46:28 AM
Some bounty hunters who are also investors take time to research into projects and come out with good projects with much capabilities of becoming successful. These type of Bounty hunters cease the opportunity to buy more of that coin at low prices below ICO prices after the ICO and listing on exchange. Most coins get started on the with lower than ICO prices.

This is like a trade off if you buy before ICO which means you are already inside the game and when  the game start whether will it be a smooth ride is the part and parcel of entering into the game. While entering after it is listed you might not have the opportunity if everything goes off well.
53  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you regret it not selling at peaked on last jan 2018 ? on: December 30, 2018, 10:32:11 AM
Do you regret it ?
or do you believe BTC will create a new ATH ?

I regret not selling some of the coins that i am holding onto when the price is at the peak opportunity however i am not totally egreting my decision i believe i will be getting more in the future the crypto cycle will repeat and a even more stronger high.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should i hold my token? on: December 29, 2018, 05:23:01 PM
I can't give you a definitely answer to hold or to sell, but what i can advise you is that you can try to tune yourself to follow a strategy for taking profit and follow closely and it should solved your problem.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why are bounty hunters guilty? on: December 29, 2018, 05:18:59 PM
Why are bounty hunters guilty?
Why do they say that bounty hunters have lowered the rate, and investors can not even return the money they invested? I think that if the project is honest, this situation is unacceptable, since hunters get a percentage from ICO, and the project team must redeem their token or coin!

I am sure that bounty hunters is the first to be arrowed is because bounty hunters get free coins not like investors where they invest with their own money.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: should I start buying ICOs again on: December 28, 2018, 10:53:09 AM
There seems to be a new wave of ICOs coming up again. The crypto market also appears to be getting ready for a bull run.
I am wondering if buying some decent ICOs will be wise at this point.
Will be glad if those who are knowledgeable of past market cycles can advice me on this.

I appreciate all reasoned contributions

As long as you do your research on the project you are investing into no matter isit a bear or bull market will not be an issue to you.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can we do for shit coins in our wallet? on: December 28, 2018, 10:47:20 AM
I have done some bounty campaigns that were unsuccessful.. Also some were scams. But I have received some tokens from few of that projects. So I need to know this, Is there any opportunity that can I use this tokens?  Smiley Smiley

Maybe in the future since you already mention they are shitty coins and i am sure that in the nest few years or so the coins you receive will not be valuable but i rather keep them in my wallet maybe in the future the coin might do wonders.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now a good time to buy or i have to wait ? on: December 28, 2018, 10:42:10 AM
Is now at the end of the year a good time to buy or i have to wait for the new year to enter ?

If you believe in crypto buying now is a good time for long term investment. However if you are just looking for profits you should wait a while more to see if you will enter the market now.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you use diversification? on: December 27, 2018, 02:08:05 PM
For example, you have some altcoin (in my case it's Metaverse ETP) and you expect it to grow. But in a weak market, this altcoin behaves like bull and you have the opportunity now to sell it and buy an asset that looks weak in the market (for example Qash, Tierion, Nem, Odyssey or Republic Protocol) in order to get the greatest possible profit. Or leave a strong asset and wait for its further growth. What do you think about this?

To diversify by keeping your strong coin or selling away your strong coins to buy cheap coins will depend on how you want to play in this market. Diversifying your portfolio is good in a way not taking too much risk exposure on just one or two coin but diversifying also means that you will not be able to make the most profit out of your capital unless what you have in your portfolio all rise together.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is less stable than some ALTs ! on: December 25, 2018, 12:47:25 PM

So regardless of the reason of this last dip. I noticed 2 of the top 10 coins ( XRP and XLM) sort of survived the dip and performed well against BTC which usually is not the case comparing this dip to  previews dips . take 11th oct 2018 for example.

in USD rate in the last 7 days :

BTC dropped : 13.48%
XRP dropped : 6.7 %
XLM dropped : 9.2%

also XRP surpassed ETH "not for the first time" but this time i think it will last.

I think that these 2 coins will remain more stable than bitcoin for a long time.

seems like centralization or semi-centralization in crypto is going to take over one way or the other. I hope not but we shall see soon.

tell me what you guys think?

I totally agree that bitcoin can be less stable than other coins, the crypto market is control by supply and demand and i am sure that as time goes by more and more people will see the value in other coins and not bitcoin only.
