Storx where are you mining Sia?
I noticed most sia pools only work with claymore......
|
|
|
People still using zpool? I am getting inconsistent numbers the past week.
|
|
|
Yeah all of mine are "offline" but still mining away

For XMR, I've found the old FX-8320e is great.
Microcenter sells them for $80. Bundle a motherboard with an extra $30 off == winning.
Mine gets ~320 sols undervolted with the system pulling less than 120 watts. I don't really know what just the CPU pulls.

Does ccminer have an issue mining sia?
I can mine just fine doing skein, but when I setup a batch file to do sia, and point it at a sia pool that I use, it errors out.
Both regular ccminer and the Alexis fork.
"stratum notify: invalid parameters"

Using zpool? Mining sia directly?
|
|
|
Well Skein profitability just plummeted lol

Phil have you mined with vanilla 1080's?
Getting used or refurb 1070's around $310 or refurb 1080's for $450....
Or 1080 Ti's for $650+
I already have 2x 1070's and 2x 1080ti's on the way.
The Ti's seems 2x as fast and 2x as expensive compared to the 1070, but not sure how the 1080 compares.

Where are you guys getting Alexis ccminer?
The build I downloaded does not work with skein, it just crashes. Can't find any other builds that are the Alexis fork.

I just installed my first non AMD card today, a gigabyte 1070 mini.
Have it mining DGB Skein at 410mh/s using ccMiner. I've played around with clocks and power targets and can't get any better. Any suggestions for trying for better?
It's at 80% power, +150 core.
Seems to be more FUD around Nvidia cards....

Multi rail needs care with powered risers. Each rail is like a diffe[Suspicious link removed]u. You should make sure each card gets powered by only one rail. Mixing rails with slightly different voltage can have per flowing between rails.
I think......

Any non-scammers seller amazon GC's at a discount these days?
So many scammers currently on the marketplace, any reputable ones?

Has anybody noticed if this miner needs more PCIe bandwidth like the genoil miner did?
We're still not sure the PCIe bandwidth is a limiting factor, though it did appear to be a possibility with Genoil's miner. Genoil's miner was very CPU hungry too though. My Celeron and Pentium chips would be at 40% CPU load with Genoil miner, with Claymore miner they're in low single digits CPU usage. But certainly claymore's miner is much quicker for me on my 6 and 7 card rigs. I'm getting almost twice the hashrate with my 7x 290x rig. Oh I am sure the bandwidth was a factor. I had a 4x 480 with Athlon II X2 using PCIe 1x extenders. 26-29 Sol/s Putting the cards into the x16 slots with no other changes 30-35 Sol/s Claymore 41-43 Sol/s

If you get a chance, cash out t1Kxz4fdfTet4r9r8XegkT3vyoxUWccpLkx And we need more miner support for stratum miners ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Do you plan on adding stratum?
Others miners are twice as fast now, but need stratum.
Your pool has worked well, but I can now have much faster hashrate elsewhere......

If possible, please lower my payout threshold http://coinsforall.io/#!/coin/ZCASH/wallet/t1Kxz4fdfTet4r9r8XegkT3vyoxUWccpLkx Thanks. Also, any chance of adding a stratum server?

Any suggestions?

I cannot get my wallet to mine anything PoS.
Wallet is unlocked, and have had the coins for more than 8 hours.
Nothing is happening.
|
|
|
False alarm.
It was a confirmed block. I waited until it was confirmed before sending it.
For some reason it is now sent. I did nothing after it was rejected, but the coins appeared at the receiving wallet.
