41  Other / Beginners & Help / High activity levels but still a junior member? on: June 01, 2018, 07:27:54 PM
Hello guys,

I am rather new to this forum and still pretty much in the learning phase of all rules and regulation and general know hows.

When going through other members I have seen some members who have high activity levels but are not in the usually designated position that corresponds to their level of activity.

To be more clear, I saw one member having a activity level of 96 but still a junior member! Can someone explain or provide me with a link which explains this? Tried looking but failed to so :-(.

Thanks a lot
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Views on why Dfinity is having such a huge Airdrop on: June 01, 2018, 06:38:14 PM
Guys, I have been following this project since sometime, its a project carried out by a company based in the Switzerland. Recently they announced that there will be no public sale and instead offering a 35 Million swiss frank Airdrop! From what i read and know this is like the biggest airdrop ever to take place.

My question is, if they have sold tokens to institutional investors wont they have a problem in the team offering such a big airdrop to the general public?

Does anyone know anything about this project? Can someone explain to me why they chose to move this way? Airdrops are understandable but one as big as this? Any views. Thank you.
43  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How educate yourself about crypto? on: June 01, 2018, 01:45:20 PM
The internet has a wealth of information to learn about crypto, however it can get overwhelming with lots and lots of YouTubers coming up clamming to know the next 100X coin or block chain technology gurus. So you need to make your choices very very carefully.

The best person to learn about blockchain technology in lot of depth and clarity is Andreas Antonopoulos, hes just excellent.

To get a idea about the market/exchanges/past performances go to www.coinmarketcap.com.

If you want to get details about active/upcoming ICO's go to www.icodrops.com. This site lists only the legitimate ICO's.

If your looking for good ICO reviewers you could check out Ian Balina/OH Hey Matty/ Crush Crypto. Some of them do have a reputation for shilling but who are we to judge. They do know what they are talking about!

Do get a idea about what is happening in the markets in general youtubers like Data Dash, Boxmining, Sunny Decree( Love the guy) and Crypto Daily are noteworthy.

To read about market updates and latest news on crypto coin telegraph is a really good source.

Lastly not the least if you are interested in trading please up your trading skills by learning Technical Analysis, which I am sure is easily accessible through YouTube.

Hope that helps!

Blockchain technology is fairly new, so even though one might look at coin market cap and see the 1600+ crypto currencies and think that's way too much, considering these are all cryptos from around the world its not too much and I personally feel there will be thousand more in coming years.

And what you said regarding scam is so true, I am so sure that there are many non-worthy useless coins and scammy coins in CMC and I guess no one needs to do anything about it as they with time will die off. The only solution to prevent such being listed on CMC would be regulations coming to control the ICO's that are coming up. If that's not the case we could see a lot more clutter in coming years!
45  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: WHERE DO I SELL MY AIRDROPS? on: May 31, 2018, 12:24:34 AM
I have done many Airdrops, what I do when I want to sell them are go to CMC, check out which exchanges they are being traded. If I don't have a account I open one, transfer the tokens n cash them out into tokens I wish to HODL or into BTC/ETH.

Is it not that block chain technology itself is a protection in itself? Have you gone through how block chain works?
47  Economy / Trading Discussion / Does a Triple bottom confirm a Bullish sentiment always? on: May 30, 2018, 02:13:59 PM
Hi guys,

Was analyzing the price movement of BTC and by the looks of it seemingly having a triple bottom at a price of around 7000 and other indicators also seemingly support this text book theory.

I am still very much early into my Technical Analysis and from the theory I have read, seemingly a triple bottom occurs in a long downtrend and a sign of a bullish reversal. I honestly dont have any experience dealing with this kind of situation so was just wondering if anyone can give me a approximation of the probability of this taking place? If so what kind of run up can we expect?

Hope I am clear in what I want to ask.

Thank you
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Price prediction for Zebi on: May 28, 2018, 12:20:07 PM
Zebi is a new coin dealing with India's big data, knowing the breadth and extent of India's data I personally feel this project is a real deal, and the team behind it are exceptionally talented.

With a low market cap still I strongly feel this is a good investment, however I am looking forward for some educated input as to their views on the same and a possible price prediction possibly by the end of 2018. Thank you.

The concepts of Accumulation, ATH where can I learn more about those?I am so bad at reading those graphs and the internet is just overwhelmed with so much of information I am a bit clueless as to where to look and what to look for! Thanks so much
50  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When to get in and get out in Bear/Bull Markets on: May 27, 2018, 03:21:13 PM
Yes you do have a point and I understand technical analysis is not the only tool to be used but definitely worth learning right? Plus I really don"t intend to do it as a day trader, to be honest I am trying to capitalize on the next major bull run like what we saw in Dec 2017 and I was thinking learning a bit of TA wouldn't hurt too much. On a day to day basis what you mentioned holds absolutely true, its more of a guessing game and the potential of me left with nothing is very high indeed. :-)
51  Economy / Trading Discussion / When to get in and get out in Bear/Bull Markets on: May 27, 2018, 02:53:53 PM
Guys, I am rather new to trading. Initially when I did get into crypto currencies my idea was to select a few coins and HODL until their value appreciated and maybe cash out some tokens whenever i am in need of money. Little did I know I was in for a big surprise few months into crypto currencies the market was so volatile.

However from what I noticed was if a trader, learnt to sell off in the high and then when the market inevitably pulls back we could secure ourselves a much higher position in the same tokens or different but for this to be done we need to be pretty good in our TA i guess and I am now very determined to explore this side. Can anyone please advise me how I should get started, some recommendations of what to read, what to watch and also the risk associated with what I plan to do.

Thanks so much.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs are getting very hard to get in. on: May 26, 2018, 06:19:38 PM
From my personal experience, it is the really good ICO's that are most of the time hardest to get in, either majority has been sold off to institutional investors in the pre/private sale and a fraction of the capital is left for the masses. However the crypto space is driven by a lot of hype and there are indeed some projects with massive hype that dumped when they hit the exchanges. So you really need to do your own research and find ICO's that have the hype and a really excellent concept behind it.

Apart from that other ICO's are rather easy to get in and please keep in mind that sometimes projects with excellent concepts backing it are kept low profile and you only realize how good they are when they hit the exchanges and starts performing. All in all with more and more people getting into cryptos things are gonna get harder and if we do have the necessary knowledge and skills and research mechanisms in place I am quite sure we could be very much informed of things way early than most. Being informed in the space is the key to benefit.

Guys, just want to know if Zebi is the Indian version of Red pulse of China? Both are dealing with big data right? Any thoughts and the potential of these coins?
