1. Visible team members don't mean they are scam free.
2. A audited smart contract project can still scam you.
3. Scammers can spend a lot on their website to make it look attractive just to make you invest your money.
4. High volume on the listed exchange doesn't make a project clean from going scam.

I expect projects to be listed on top exchanges like this list https://coinmarketcap.com/id/rankings/exchanges/ but not all projects are able to meet the existing requirements for their tokens to be listed. The exchanges that Op mentioned above are like Yobit, I used to use in 2018 and I was able to trade and withdraw successfully, I don't know for new tokens currently listed there, I think the team registered the tokens with the exchange to be able to register them with Coinmarketcap for get a wider reach. |

2024 is the year when the Bitcoin Halving will occur, the old Altcoins still exist today, let's call it Dogecoin, this memecoin is in interest even though it doesn't have fundamentals like Ethereum, but has a large community and this causes this coin to survive to this day. Yes it looks like Ethereum is lagging behind projects like ziliqa and BNB, but Ethereum was the first developer to create a smart contract system and adopt POW consensus because at that time mining systems like Bitcoin became Hype.
The idea of ethereum is very good, when the ecosystem is running well and many projects are using the network, then this (POS) idea appears to solve the congestion problem that often occurs.

Rug pull scams "pumping up" a new project, nonfungible token (NFT) or coin to get funding. After the scammers get the money, they disappear with it. The coding for these investments prevents people from selling the bitcoin after purchase, so investors are left with a valueless investment.
If I may know, what project are you referring to, so that we can avoid such scams, if you mean selling NFT through Airdrop claims it looks like you need to see the partners and the project before investing, I have several NFTs and from those NFTs I can stake and play games. |
