41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CryptoBlox - NEW Bitcoin Faucet - 250-100k Satoshi - Payout Options! on: December 12, 2014, 11:41:58 AM
Is there a problem with the dnote pool? I've been mining that for about a week at +/- 3.4 mhs and it still says it's blocked over a month ago... is there a better way to check the progress on mining besides shares mined?
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: The Blocks Factory - Feathercoin NEOSCRYPT pool RDY ! on: November 14, 2014, 03:40:48 PM
i'm trying to get back on the cgb poolside and all i get is...

[2014-11-14 10:39:26] Coinbase check: multiple inputs in coinbase: 0xbb
[2014-11-14 10:39:26] Pool 0 misbehaving (coinbase check), disabling!

SOLVED!!!
its bfgminer, running with cgminer and its fine for some reason...

the only way i've seen that done is if you plug the last 3 in after you've set the other 4 to mine first, then plug the other 3 in and run another instance of bfg or cg...

although it would be nice if luke made the pool setup so you could add the serials of individual miners per a specific pool
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Minera v0.3.8] Your next mining dashboard is here. CPUminer/CGminer/BFGminer. on: November 09, 2014, 05:58:54 AM
ok well locked everything down, the modem and router, that stopped everything...

i like minera's web interface, ease of use... just freaky when someone gets in and starts sub-contracting your machine for their work. i was having a good run on a ftc coin site, which is probably how they figured where to go to get in the machine (since i've been on that p2pool for a few). now that, that sites down i'll be back on wdc (thanks to neoscrypt).

still its a good easy to use image, really prefer bfgminer to handle all my miners. running cgminer drops my hashrate 300/mhs (kinda weird)

but like i said locking down everything so far has worked. i'll let it run for a few more days and see what happens.

oh yea, i run volt modified miners for scrypt it would be nice if minera didn't start hashing away on sha256 till after things have been set up...

(god knows i love hot coffee but at least give me time to put the cup on my miners)
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Minera v0.3.8] Your next mining dashboard is here. CPUminer/CGminer/BFGminer. on: November 06, 2014, 07:42:03 PM
ok used cgminer for a few today, bfgminer isn't finding any of the miners but cgminer works, just not as great as bfgminer was.

since i ran ./install_minera.sh i forgot to run ./upgrade_minera.sh after  Tongue

ok bfg works now.... since i closed all the ports its running ok.

i'll let it run for a  few and see what smokes.

UPDATE:

locking down the router seemed to work, would be cool if mobileminer had pool switching and speed settings.

well they get in and change the miner_conf.json then lock you out of the website... can't log in and change anything... i have to goto /var/www/minera and run  sudo ./install_minera.sh and start over

oh well

47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Minera v0.3.8] Your next mining dashboard is here. CPUminer/CGminer/BFGminer. on: November 05, 2014, 11:42:06 PM
ok im getting a little pissed.... the donation is diabled, but yet it seems to activate and run...

pool: stratum+tcp://ca.simplemulti.com:3333

address: VqSPcvUXVc2tg9sFSKHS8kKGNNZXYTG5sx.2

and push everything else out.... and NO matter what i try or do it keeps popping back up, and pushing my pools and info out of the way.

getting really frustrated.

i dont remember this as the default donation pool or info, if its not, you need to check your git.

48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Minera v0.3.5] Your next mining dashboard is here. CPUminer/CGminer/BFGminer. on: September 28, 2014, 05:38:09 PM
Hey michelem,

Loving Minera so far, BUT, would be cool if i could dump the screen (cgminer process) out the composite port of the RPI B+ (thing works great for small miners).

thing is i am getting ready to mount all the miners and the rpi in a old cooler master case (big ass hunk of aluminum) and i can fit a small rca backup camera screen in the 5.25 bay, and was going to put the rpi in the 3.5 bays.

the monitor is my roadblock, and all i tried to *nix command wise is break the miner Sad

i know cgminer has a way to drop everything to a serial port, etc... but i don't know how shift it out the composite port.

or is there a way to have the cgminer screen be a default login screen for the rpi?

thanks in advance!
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BETA][EXCHANGE][REALTIME] CoinEX realtime exchange on: March 30, 2014, 11:40:09 AM
Ok, so i've been away for a while for work (a long while) come home and the mine rig (really small) is still mining coins on coinex servers, go to try and log in, and end up here after the twitter redirect.

MY question is... all those coins that have been mined (even though small) during all this, where are they? after reading this thread it feels like the margarittaville episode of south park, lol

and the links for those coins are still working, the miner can still mine on those links, but i can't login and see those balances... so far now i'm going to pull those links out of rotation, but i am still wondering where/what those balances are for those coins and will all that work be accounted for?

I like it, i wish other pools would use the password area for difficulty settings. but you've cornered the market on that

Cool thanks, i'll give that a compile tomorrow!  Lips sealed

Just ran apt to snag the missing parts before bed...

Tranz any word on a *nix release of the wallet? the windows wallet locks up for a few days, hangs, or crashes on close and logs it in windows mysterious vault (somewhere don't care, lol)...

but this is what i have from mint.
