btw anyone can explain why sometimes the wallet stays out of sync like that and then recovers on its own?
I think it only happens when a block hasn't been staked in a while, because the network is slow at the moment, sometimes it thinks your offline/not up to date, when you actually are.

Beat me to it! I'm Jealous... lol, been a bit busy but managed to catch that one before you hehe! and hence the quick msg, much appreciated soupa. If you can talk someone into staking another wallet you can offer them 500 coins to start with and add mine into the 200, I don't require them back if they are helping the network. I will get that new bootstrap up anyday now

Was Kore Delisted from Bittrex? If so please everyone who has Kore Coins send them support tickets to have it listed again. I thought the Community was looking after it.
And the fucking volume was done!! Everybody please write to support@bittrex.zendesk.com The problem could be if they had made a change. Usually they said: It's gonna be delisted on 17th. And the volume had to be done BEFORE the 17th. Maybe they have change that and now the volume can be done UNTIL the 18th. I cant not remember exactly, but I think the volume was done the 10th. So if they have change that, it could be for that reason. If that happend, we need to say that the warning was posted the 10th, so we make the volume the same day (great community) In case, they havent change anything, we made the fucking volumeee!! I believe we had sufficient volume aswell. Otherwise I would of let someone know. My wallet wasn't staking for about 10days because of PC issues, but has been back online for 5 days or so. Blocks moving very slow now, is the escrow wallet still staking MM? I will upload a new boostrap soon for anyone trying to sync to get funds off Bittrex incase it doesn't get resolved.

I have sent 1 BTC to this address 13xcUHggtpUcip2bZT4wd9FcK3PENNv3oD to help developing the new wallet.
nice one btcage! with a donation like this I might make another small one soon. C'mon guys we can get there! "Don'ts for Bitcoin Startups 1. Don’t Push Your Product If It Isn’t Ready"
Tesla because of the previous points, even an 'Elevator Pitch' is not appropriate at the moment, without funds we cannot promise anything. Reading through the thread you can see the focus is on anonymity, be it for transactions, VOIP or browsing. The KORE team does not want constant demands from the community about features/releases, so details are scarce until they are actually functional. Actions instead of words and pretty roadmaps.

Kore Community,
Why not ask for being listed in: - Cryptsy - Poloniex - Bleutrade - Cryptopia
Hi Tesla, Yes KORE needs more exposure on exchanges, but in my opinion it would be foolish to do so until the takeover is complete and we have a new wallet and new thread etc, everything under the control of the new KORE team. It is possible that getting on an extra exchange or 2 now might boost the community support and get the wallet released sooner. At the moment the priority is to raise the funds to pay the coder, and then more costs to get the wallet versions compiled. I do feel if we were on more exchanges now it would just be with no volume and no attention. Any attention we do get would point to the current mess Eurbids left the project in. Anyone considering donating see MMs post for details https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=668886.msg11724218#msg11724218

Read the bit in bold, a new browser 'FIRE' is in development, but won't be in the next wallet. Hopefully MM can work some magic and get some kind of alternative in place for the next wallet release. Not soon unfortunately. We could release the takeover wallet in about 4-7 days. Most that work has been done but compiling into Windows from Linux which is going to cost .5BTC unless we can get it done in house somehow but even that may cost .7BTC which is more than the .5BTC to set up the in house Windows wallet compiler environment. The benefit of the .7BTC option is that from then on we should always be able to compile Windows wallets in house with minimal outside help. This saves money in the long run. Since we had to shelf the FIRE Browser for now we are trying to come up with something else to release so it's just not a coin takeover with a new version name. We are getting the research and info and pricing that is IF what has been proposed could actually be done.
Sorry to make it all about the money. I used to just pay what needed to be paid. I don't have that option anymore.

I recommend this second ICO be set up as follows.
100K Coins @ 75k Sats for a 10 Day Period 100K Coins @ 90K Sats for a 20 Day Period following that 100K Coins @ 105K Sats for a 30 Day Period Following that.
60 Days of funding and liquidity.
This provides liquidity, incentive and price flooring.
Allowing the price to be below 75K Sats is unwise respective to the market and the ventures value.
This does sound good, however IF the 100k @ 75k doesn't sell in 10 days, what would you propose??? We would be stuck in a (possibly) similar situation (this ICO isn't even over) and further devalue the coin (still over 2x original price so yes its not that bad) To be honest if someone wanted to invest big, the 120k ICO is still the only way to go. Give it time!
|
|
|
If a lower price is chosen, which is more prudent imo, then I would suggest that consistent processes are followed for transparency etc. Let the 120k floor run its course because you never know if there will be someone that wants a lot of coins and will pick it up at that price. In a few days when that runs out then agree on the new price and number and then do another placement accordingly for the same period of time. In the meantime carry on with your development and the good work.
I agree, as the closing date is close I say let it run its course and revote on what to do with the remaining funds. I believe they were going to be moved into a holding account with no staking? Also, as usual great work mastertrader, dcgirl and others. All the hard work is coming together

To the Community:
We cannot stress this enough. For the Kore Team to continue with the new Kore Wallet release thereby fully taking over Korecoin and the numerous Kore Team Projects we are asking for your Donations in BTC, they are needed and needed ASAP. We realize times are tough. If you could only afford a few bits of BTC then please still consider donating. If there is someone that likes what we are doing that could afford a larger donation to see these projects through please do. I am no longer in a position to fund the projects. The Donation Address is below. A detailed ledger will be provided showing where each payment goes to.
Most Sincerely, MikeMike

1) No, the new VoIP will not be in the next release and was previously mentioned it would not. The plan is eventually to write our own VoIP hopefully providing you with something of a bit better quality than anything existing. We may however use something in the mean time till the Kore VoIP is written.
2) I like the idea to leave the amount staking up to the individual to support the Kore Network as was mentioned in the website under the Browser Section but we may need to continually remind ones to stake some coins to support this unique free feature to surf the net anonymously.
3) All calls to regular phone numbers through the Gateway would need to be charged for. The cheapest way is to use a service provider but the calls won't be as cheap. Alternatively the software and service software could be purchased and costs between 4-7k. I was considering paying for this software but am no longer able to.
4) Due to a serious illness and lack of funding the Original FIRE Browser will no longer be in the next wallet release though we are working on providing you an alternative.
Thanks MM, 1) Yes I thought so, I just wanted to clarify that before we got too indepth on the charging of the VOIP, although it is a discussion that should always be progressing it currently seems it is not a vital point for the next release. 2) If we could somehow lock the browser tab unless the wallet is staking, that would guarantee users would atleast need some coins in the wallet to use the feature, but would not limit it to larger KORE holders like setting a minimum holding requirement would. 3) We may have to just use a VOIP service first, then as it moves forward setup our own. Is this the part VIOR could potentially setup and we pay them as the service provider, I recall you mentioning something like this? 4) Does this mean that it won't be coded from scratch, more based on 3rd party software? It sounds like FIRE can continue if things get back on track which is good. 5) I will go ahead and donate .1 or 2 in the next couple of days, it might mean pulling my small buy support, hopefully some other junk sells though hehe.

"Our immediate focus and need is keeping the current work progressing and being able to fund it. I have funded it for many months but no longer have the ability."
Is the updated VOIP going to be in the next wallet release, or just the FIRE browser? I agree we should finish current projects first, so if FIRE is first we should be discussing that. If the VOIP is in the next release I think we should have free wallet to wallet calls, if its possible to make it that the wallets would have to be staking something atleast... that should be good enough. If we can't force the wallets to be staking to enable interwallet calls that is not so bad, atleast it would help exposure and increase overall adoption. Any calls to external networks and charging for them, well that discussion looks intense and I haven't read it all and need some sleep

I have dll wallet, sync 100% but not move 24?I have unlocked wallet for staking
It should have started staking by now, unless you have a very small amount in the wallet. If you restart the wallet you won't have to wait for the coins to mature again. So try that maybe.

Thanks, I tried it and I will succeed.
thanks, can you just confirm that the bootstrap worked fine and your wallet got synced up and its now staking ok using the bootstrap and about how long did syncing take?
