Well i would say the current situation of the world has forced people to think of alternative ways of making money and crypto is one of those ways . Flowing with time and season is the best way to survive so more people are actually adopting cerypto investment now.

i would not say ICO are entirely dead, some few once as still seeing the light of the day and making a huge some from ICO . But the fact remains that with the experience with scammers over the years, people are skeptical about investing in any ICO now except the trust the developer.

I dont know if Eth is going to ATH , i am not happy with this bull because i just sold my Eth last week at 220$ and now it got to 300$+ . all the same i am contemplating whether or not to buy now as i dont know where it is heading to or if its dumping soon.

The crypto world is full of ups and downs, my fear is not losing all my capital investing in one unsuccessful project . i have already lost much in the past , and even during this trending DeFi i have invested and lost some money in some of them . i noticed that the one i am afraid to enter is the one that makes people rich .

In the case of all the noise and hype about Defi what i advise people is they should trade with caution . its not always as juicy as hype makes it look . some investors are already crying of losing to some of the trnding Defi project. .

Friend there is nothing you can do , i have alot of such tokens in my wallet . some didn't even survive to exchange and some were listed but later delisted that is what we see every time in this space.

I am still holding some of my ripple i bought last year , i personally believe in the project because of some development steps they have been taking in advancing the project so far . I still expect an increase in the price in the nearest future .

Although for a well planned fake project its difficult to detect but some of them are so fake that they will plagiarized website and whitepaper . I once saw a project whose developer copied and pasted another project word to word . that is one way of detecting a fake project.
Another one is faceless team or impersonation , when the team decide to be faceless be careful about such projects it's likely to be fake.

I think reasons for scamming differ depending on the person . some people are greedy and as such they get scammed when they prefer dealing with someone they dont know that offers a higher rate instead of using Exchange or and escrow group .
