41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [KEY] KeyCoin - X13 - Fair Launch - Bittrex/Cryptsy - 7/23 ANON RELEASE on: July 25, 2014, 01:37:15 AM
KEY  Get  XC1.5 Source  Anonymous Outdated  ,                                     XC  2.5  Source

FUD. Ignored.

NO .DVE  got an anonymous source told XC,  xc 1.5 anonymous open  source .2.5 not source

Perhaps read previous dev responses to the XC source question?

So let me get this straight. You copied XCs centralised non trustless mixer from Rev 1 and then you tell everyone you have better anon than XC, even though XC now is on Rev 2 which is a decentralised trustless mixer?

I hope you understand the flaws with Rev 1, otherwise someones gonna exploit your client and steal everyone's coins

No, not at all. We are close with members of various anon dev teams, and started with XC's released code as a base. The workings are more similar to DRK system.  We mentioned this to be respectful and follow the proper traditions of open source. The client part of XC is opensource but the server code isn't, therefore it's not something to be easily copied. The new server code that runs on the nodes is custom and has been proven secure, and the client side code is heavily modified also.

This is whats good about crypto and open source, start with the ideas and work of others, and build on it.

In the future, we may consider having every wallet function as a node. For now, we prefer the simplicity of having masternodes, so we can continue with the rest of our project.

It's not a clone.

You guys think this is over? It only went 30k past previous ath.

Didn't you read today's ann? working anon kinda changes things, a dev that does what he says he's going to do is rarer than rocking horse shit.

This is true.  A rare breed indeed.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [KEY] KeyCoin - X13 - Fair Launch - Bittrex/Cryptsy - 7/23 ANON RELEASE on: July 25, 2014, 12:00:13 AM
I have to admit that KEY is a very nice brandable name with potential.   But you need more than just a good name. Long-term Comment and some very Dedicated Developers with Vision is Key.

The marketing is made easier by the name, but the name is merely the icing on the anon cake.

Or just the tip of the iceberg?  A Game Changer? Maybe. And maybe this is a good time to buy.

True vision goes beyond the normal psyche.

45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.6 HARDFORK MANDATORY UPDATE on: May 08, 2014, 05:51:38 AM
So, looks like Jackson Palmer and members of the Dogecoin PR team and partnered with RevUp Render and Very Charity. There will be a competition to design and race dogecoin themed micro rovers. The three final teams will have their dogesleds landed on the moon's surface and will be be racing on the moon.

The competition will be taking part in 5 stages, you can learn more here:
https://www.revuprender.com/lunariditarod/

Prizes for the fourth stage of the competition will be 22 Million Doge for first, 20 Million Doge for second, and 18 Million Doge for third.

So, yeah, looks like Dogecoin is literally going to the moon now. The first stage of the competition will take place on September 6th, 2014. The fourth stage will be taking place 7 Months prior to the launch of the payloads to the moon.

Dogecoin is literally going to the moon.

Here's Very Charity's Dogecoin PR reddit post:

Dogecoin is literally going to the moon.
Hilarious...DOGE has a big future planned.  Smiley

Sounds like Team Phoenicia and RevUp Render are having their formal press release next week. Maybe I shouldn't have posted yet. Smiley

Amazing!  Such Ambitious. So moon.

I had a similar idea back in January but sponsoring a non-profit or college who is already competing in the Google Lunar Xprize.

This is very exciting.  Cheesy

i missed getting doge early. so i'm gonna pick up some shibe

This is a great time to Buy DOGE.

It's still very early.  Prices are very low and a huge community of Dogecoin developers are working on new things all the time.  The momentum for doge will continual to increase.  People will look back and wish they could own 1 million dogecoins for only $500. Wink

DOGE will get raped by the 300mhs ASICS in a couple of months... price will definitely drop heaps.

SHIBE will be in PoS in a few days... and protected from ASICS.

In 2 months the Dogecoin block rewards will only be 62,500 coins and then 31,250 which means there will be less coins for multi-pools to dump.

Many Shibes have pre-ordered ASICS exclusively for Dogecoin and don't plan to dump.  This actually will help Dogecoin compete against multi-pools like Wafflepool.

Asic's will actually help Dogecoin stay profitable. Also, ASIC prices will drop, increasing the number of miners, making the hashrate more diversified.

Proof of stake encourages hoarding which reduces the coin usefulness.

In the end, the coin with the most usefulness wins.  Such Win!

International shipping is expensive.

Id rate DOGE as a strong sell right now. Im expecting 50's or less
Doge is going down the drain, look at what's left of the 'community'... it's a group of hopeless people clinging on to their coin whille it's diving in value. They say that the value of doge doesn't matter but with every satoshi it falls the get grumpier and grumpier...

Many of of the Dogcoin community doesn't hang around here anymore.

Most of Dogecoin community is strong and well over here:

Dogecoin will do well regardless of what happens to Bitcoin.

Dogecoin is still going to the moon!
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trouble is pushing Dogecoin up on: February 15, 2014, 02:21:23 AM
I think that Dogecoin is a "cognitive infiltration" (google that term) CIA/NSA op (financed by the banksters) to take down Bitcoin. Its supporters constantly troll against Bitcoin in a way that is suggestive of persona-management software that allows a single intel agent to control 20 sockpuppets arguing that Bitcoin is too boring and serious and Dogecoin is where the future lies.

Amazing.

Yeah, Amazing Denial.

I enjoy both Bitcoin and Dogecoin.  If we work together the faster we all arrive on the moon.  Dogecoin is an excellent vehicle to get new people into Crypto Currency which can help Bitcoin in the long run.

People like having fun. The future needs to be fun. I look forward to vacation's which is fun. Seriousness is a drag. Complaining is a downer. Money is generally too serious and Dogecoin takes serious business and tech and turns it into something fun.

Fun: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKK6PfDMuqg

Buy and promote both and we all become winners.

Wow.. look at this Picture.  Such Volume Shocked

52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.4 Released MANDATORY UPDATE on: January 20, 2014, 04:24:09 AM
Wow, I love that panic sellers. I wish I had more BTCs.

It won't be surprising that someone who grabbed some Doge @75 makes 25% profit in 9 hours.
All situation now is Smiley more about speculation.
I counted and at 85 statoshi price market needs about 612BTC/day to buy all.
If only ~30% of mined coins hit market then it needs 183BTC.
Price bottom was about ~30 satoshi so we need prepare to correction.
Problem with seling on high is that you won't never know when that high is 50% 100% 300% depends on coin Smiley
I am waiting on dump (correction).
I like Doge but guys don't invest when price is high always buy on low.
If you gambling it is other story the buy at @75 and sell @90 Cheesy.
+1

But then one day you'll wish you never sold at 90 and end up buying back at 100+.

Wait a minute, 31% of total coins have been mined???   Shocked Shocked Shocked
What's going to happen when they have all been mined?  Miners won't have incentive.  What then?  This coin is fucked.

I just shat a brick!

miners extract fees

Those fees would need to be built into the client.  But if nobody updates their client version, it won't happen.
What is my incentive to upgrade to a new client version that includes fees into my transactions?  none..

Your motivation is that miners won't process a feeless transaction, so your transactions will stay in limbo forever.

Dogecoin is fine. It was designed to have incentives.  Very well designed.

Currently Dogecoin has inflation.  After we hit 100 billion, a 10,000 block reward will continue or about 5% increase per year.  This would be an extra 5 Billion coins add to supply every year.  If 1 Dogecoin = $1 then that would be a 5 billion dollar incentive for miners to keep mining.   Personally I think 1% would be enough to keep people mining.  Coins will be lost so a little inflation is not a bad idea.

All this might change.  Some idea's a being considered to reduce the inflation:

Still sitting on 7M DOGE and waiting until 2020 so I can be a $7M+ 32 year old and retire.
I like your thinking. Smiley

+1

+1, I  like this.  How do we get a few more thousand people thinking the same way?

I think it's also good to a use a small percentage your savings each month.  Hold the majority of your DOGE, but also buy a few things online ever now and then. Donate to new Dogecoin developments and your favorite charities.  This will help increase the value too.

And most important, continue to earn new Dogecoins each month.

Earn, Save, Use.

itīs only a dream.. but passing 200 would be moon for me..
In real shibes dreams... passing 0.01$ would be moon!!!

There is only one moon: $1.00.

I agree with this.  Everyone should define the correct meaning of the MOON.  It will take time and effort. But its very possible.

After we reach the moon then we can travel to other parts of the galaxy.
