Please bring some ANC to vircurex, I promise to buy them at a reasonable price As I just said that, I cannot withdraw any coins at the moment. Hopefully this is temporary! SO, ATM, DO NOT DEPOSIT TO VIRCUREX. I'll be back with info when you can withdraw again, or if this is the end of vircurex.

I recieved the same garbage today: Hello Mirrax,
I am sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused you. I have escalated this ticket to our 2nd level of tech support for them to double check your withdrawal. Please give this some time as our tech support team will respond in order of tickets received. We will keep your ticket open and definitely we will keep you posted. Thank you kindly for your patience.
Sincerely, Marjorie
Yup... they must have a different client. Tried withdrawing from vircurex again and that works fine, it's only the blockchain that is a bit slow. Anyhow, I have ALWAYS had some problems withdrawing ANC from Cryptsy. Once a withdrawal took 1.5 months, but they DID actually show up in the end

One thing with Anoncoin, is that I always fear the withdrawals. Can you guys tell me what could be wrong, since I made this withdrawal from Cryptsy yesterday (just to test that they still are able to send ANC):
Address: AZRaYktZMQdc3V1zN1BQiLARVgJjrHPKHb Amount: 35.00000000 ANC Confirmed: Yes Request date: 2015-12-01 15:01:00 Processed: Yes TrxID: d93c72885162c1022f95589fc3058f1f6f7b20cfd1ee8e872c7a85f91127878a @ 2015-12-01 15:06:10
But the transaction is not seen on anoncoin blockchain. The address itself should work, as I tested to withdraw from Vircurex for some time ago (Yes, vircurex is valid in this sense. I actually have more faith in vircurex that what I have in Cryptsy).
Since Cryptsy says the transaction is processed, how long should I wait until I can actually see it on the blockchain? Why is there such a damn huge delay for ANC always?
IS CRYPTSY FINALLY BANKRUPT?? - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1272860.0CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1173703.0You are not the only one with craptsy issues at the moment and they have a long history of fucking up anoncoin withdrawals. consider using ExchangeD.I2P, we process all our deposits and withdrawals instantly I have the same problem. Is there a chance they run old client maybe? I guess this might be the issue. This is what they responded: Thank you for contacting us about this issue. Well, I have been trading over two years at vircurex and have not had any issues. I however restrict myself to not have too much BTC stored there. But still, about the anoncoin blockchain, it really looks like cryptsy has made the withdrawal, but what has gone wrong? Also, about Cryptsy, the withdrawals take long, especially BTC and LTC, but I have never lost any coins

Be Aware!!!
Don’t try to move your ANC from Cryptsy to CEX as cex is dropping altcoins coming december, from 1st december they stopping pool, from 15th december shutting down the market, and from 15th of January 2015 they will start charge 0.00015btc/day on each coin wallet they are dropping to clear the user balances.
they will keep only btc, ltc, nmc, dash, doge, the rest of the altcoins currently there will be removed.
And don’t forget, they have limits for trade, or withdraw, so if you send there amount lower than their limits, your coins are stuck there, and will be eaten by them and their charge in January.
Please can you provide a reliable link about this.

Uhm, stupid me, but how come I have missed that also cex.io trades Anoncoins. Has anyone tried to withdraw ANC from Cryptsy, depositing to cex.io?
|
|
|
Well, Cex.io delisting alts in december, anc between them. One exchange falling after another one, you may have entered the market @ correct time @ entertheabyss. And I need to find my old HDD with wallet, update and get the coins to personal wallet. With cryptsy limit, may take some time. Well, vircurex is still working. I have been trading there for over two years now and never had any problems. And yes I know that one shuld trade with cause, that's why I usually just don't have much more than a BTC there

My guess is that the developers are silent for a while, then buying in, then release something to github = profit I have seen this for so many coins and it is a way for devs to earn some money All discussions between the developers are public record on IRC. Could you remind me about what channel + irc network to use, thx

If so, knowing the public key as well, I can try to brute force the password or am I missing something? The wallet contains 0.22 BTC
To brute-force the password, you'll need to know as much as possible about what the password is likely to be. Then you'll need to use the identifier to get a copy of the encrypted wallet. Then you can attempt to decrypt the wallet with the various possible passwords until you find one that successfully decrypts it. Do you happen to know the encryption method used to encrypt the wallet? edit: it is aes, just found out. Where is the wallet stored when accessing the wallet through a browser in windows?
blockchain.info stores it in their database. They send a copy to your browser when you supply the identifier. So I fill in the identifier and look in my browser cache? edit: if I save the page, I see a lot of stuff, but not a file called "wallet.aes.json" Thanks for the detailed answer btw. Just curious, but didn't you mention it was your friend that forgot the password?

$11,000 trading volume over the last 30 days at Cryptsy Anoncoin difficulty 171.512 network 4.1945 GH/sec ? do you have or do you plan to start merged mining? community? devs? does ANC have checkpoints? BTC38 is a much better place to trade ANC than Cryptsy. It is hard to see why anyone would want to buy now right now. The developers have been silent for a long time. Only that btc38 is dead slow... at least from here ANC was traded on bittrex before. Maybe they will add it again if they are convinced the blockchain problems they were worried about in the past are resolved. ExchangeD.I2P is the best place to trade Anoncoin, an i2p only anonymous cryptocurrency exchange. Actually, I do not care about anonymity myself. Connectiong to ExchangeD.I2P sounds a bit cumbersome as I'm a lazy bastard

I have never experienced any bigger problems with cryptsy under these two years I've been trading(not worse than coins gettting delayed, which might not always be Cryptsy's fault). Actually, I'll credit to BitJohn and Mullick for being so patient and I actually DO think that people actually MAY FORGET their passwords Thanks for running Cryptsy, I have made lots of fund there

At some point, this coin will be pumped like the CACHecoin, I'm darn sure about that.

This is good news for my coin. Vircurex is a robber.
But how will we easily calc hash?
AAAHHHHHH, Thomas, I didn't think about that. Maybe they'll keep the stats on there since it costs nothing and it brings in regular clicks. My guess is they won't, since when NVC was removed, also the hash calculations were removed

Fuck o Fuck! Vircurex is delisting IxC, my favourite coin. Roberto, it's now up to you to save our lost souls!

this would be an ideal time to close down the thread for good and move permanently to the darknet. Ive been suggesting so for months
Please DON'T! I love following this thread and I think that is the case for lots of other people.

Marica420, why do you complain on everyone and everything all the time, did you sell your ANC too cheap?
