41  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Entrepreneurship ideas and experiences on: August 02, 2018, 10:25:42 AM
Starting a business is so simple these days. It pretty much comes down to this: develop a skill that other people will pay for, and then use the internet to find those people. This concept can be applied to just about anything, and I think a lot of you guys don't realize how easy it is.

>have a friend from high school who paints houses, about $1k per job
>he gets one to two jobs per month, finding clients by word of mouth
>in only three or so days, set him up with a site and teach him about Facebook ads
>gets 10 clients from online ads within the first month and a half
This is a guy with no degree who paints houses, now he's looking at making $10k in less than two months. Now he's transitioning to hiring people to paint the houses while he sits back and gets clients.

>another friend with art degree
>hears that storyboard artists can get paid $150/day doing boards
>starts focusing exclusively on being a freelance storyboard artist, building up site and portfolio
>starts running ads on google/bing to get the ball rolling
>storyboarding is a low competition niche so his name was always one of the first to pop up in search
Now he's always booked. He doesn't even run ads anymore.

I could go on all day. With one of my online businesses, I deal with a lot of "psychics" and "tarot readers." These people literally provide an imaginary service. PayPal them $25 and they'll give you a "psychic reading" via e-mail. They find all of their clients just by being active on Instagram. Occasionally, they'll pay a larger Instagram account to shout them out. A lot of these people are insane and say all kinds of weird shit. Yet they've still figured out how to run their own business online.

This is a very good idea if everybody can bring ideas. We have some immigrants from Mozambique here in South Africa. They offer gardening services around our town, they have their own lawnmowers and walk from one job to the other. They do 3-4 lawns a day, two people on the job and they work fast. They even advertise on a local Facebook page. I know there will be a brand new debate because they are immigrants, but that's not the point. The point is if you really want to work and earn a living there is many ways.

funny enough where am from, if you are a burglar and you get caught in the act, immediate jungle justice will follow you get beaten to death and only with luck can you survive.

Yep I've seen mob justice here in South Africa and it is brutal. They do phone the cops but what can 2 cops do when there is a whole mob beating the burglar up? In my opinion its not right, but If you break into my house and threaten the lives of my loved ones you bet I'm going to fight back.

I'm hardly an expert myself but I've seen some of these crypto youtubers and they pull newbies into crypto with false information and their lavish lifestyles.
45  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance about to offer Fiat-Crypto Trading. on: August 01, 2018, 09:07:09 AM
Binance really is one of the best exchanges around, they really do believe in " Go big or go home" I would love to only use Binance but every now and then there is a great project and then you just have to use the others because it's not on Binance yet.

49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHY CRYPTOCURRENCY PROGRESS MOVE SLOW IN AFRICA? AND WHAT TO DO TO HELP AFRICANS on: July 28, 2018, 08:00:46 PM
Hello, as we both knwo that cryptocurrency ius future payment solution in the world thoughthere is some bariers from differenct states and goverments but the reality still there.
Example we can see proress in some europeans countries having ATM machins where users can withdraw bitcoin and other altcoins there by using their ATM crds, also they can pay by using cryptocyurrency in different placess like supermarkets but also they can make online purchase with cryptocurrencies.

SO..
WHY WE DONT SEE THESE THINGS IN AFRICA TOO??

WHATS  TO DO TO HELP AFRICAN COUNTRIES TO ADOPT THESE CHANGES?

Being that I am from South Africa... there is tooo much greed and corruption in all of Africa. I did read an article about some sort of south african crypto currency but  NEVER EVER EVER WILL I INVEST IN THAT. Because the poor will get poorer and the greedy will get greedier...

Well that's just fine, not in a hurry at all. Bitcoin is here to stay so no need to rush anything, time to load up. Wink
51  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can all types of crypto be mined? on: July 24, 2018, 06:42:29 AM
You should check out https://coinmarketcap.com/ There you can see which ones is mine able and which ones not. It's very convenient because there you will find all the links to their websites, telegram, discord, github etc. That way you can do your research to see what you need to mine if its profitable of if it's pos.

hi, jackleszz, what's the expected benefit per day by running a masternode?

Total pool of rewards for masternodes is around 288 BTC2 per day so they get that much divided by the number of masternodes online. (25% of new block rewards). Right now, with only 3 masternodes online, each one gets about 96 BTC2/day (288 / 3 = 96).

Where can I buy 1000 BTC2 ?

I've got ~750 BTC2 to sell. Escrow only (I can find reputable escrow, to be mutually agreed upon).
I'll consider offers by PM.   Please serious offers only.

55  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Would you do KYC for a bounty hunt? on: July 18, 2018, 11:05:12 AM
Yeah why not, I suppose yeah it could end up on the dark web, never really thought about that,

But if its a good bounty return F it

Until one day you go on holiday, get arrested at an US airport and charged with card fraud, if you are lucky. If you are not lucky charges will be for terrorism, drug dealing or arms trading.

And while you try to prove that "some else used my documents" and "I am innocent" they will be thinking of how fabulous would you look in orange, inside an Egyptian prison.

But..yeah... bounty was good...so f*ck it.

I agree, some years ago we had a serious problem here in South Africa where people ended up married to Nigerians and Zimbabweans and on top of that in some cases those unsuspecting people ended up with thousands of Rands in debt. Didn't follow close enough to remember how this all happened and if a syndicate was caught. But still they somehow gained access to Id's, married you and opened accounts in your name. How do you prove you were not in on it?

I found a article: https://www.nytimes.com/2004/09/05/world/africa/unwitting-wives-are-prey-in-south-africa-scandal.html

No Bounty pays enough in my opinion. But it's a personal decision for everyone to make.

56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I need to double 4,000 USD in 2 weeks on: July 18, 2018, 10:26:43 AM
Hi,

I will attempt this and I need to double 4,000 USD in 2 weeks

Any coin ‘suggestion’ ?

I see this is dated March 11 but the answer is still the same as then: If you NEED to double the 4000 in 2 weeks that only means 1 thing.. you are having some financial crisis. Right? Well the only advise I have is to switch off your pc because you are about to gamble with that money. Just don't do that!
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it better to buy during ICO or Market? on: July 18, 2018, 10:14:38 AM
The very first ICO I participated in around Oct 2017 went up almost x 24 my original investment. Never sold a single coin during this last 7 months because I will be going up again in a year or two.
58  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 4 more days until the Binance killer is LIVE on: July 17, 2018, 07:50:16 AM
On July 17th, Trade.io will be live. Some are calling it the Binance killer...
Low fees, community focused, fast trades and simple charts.

What are your thoughts on Trade.io?

Well it's the first birthday for Binance and they didn't get to where they are by luck, they work very hard to be the best exchange and they are always transparent with everything. It's going to be very hard to kill Binance. Shilling here most definitely will not accomplish that.  Wink
59  Economy / Speculation / Re: When can we expect the bull run again ? on: July 17, 2018, 07:45:03 AM
Bitcoin usually goes up in price near the end of the year and goes down or plateaus during the summer so I guess we will see another bull run in November - December perhaps? It's not a sure thing per se, but that's how the market behaves - in a cycle basically. I don't think we will get a new ATH until next Bitcoin halving due in 2020. If Bitcoin goes back to $10k by Christmas it will be a small win in my honest opinion. However I think the Bitcoin craze that propelled the value to $20k last winter is gone now and crypto investors are more conservative with their money.

Lets say a new wave of newbies enter the market like last year, I'm sure we might see another ATH for Bitcoin. The ones that got burned won't likely come back or maybe they will after proper research and this time with a strategy.
