One guy wrote a post on the Internet. He invested in an ICO and did not know what to tell his wife because the money he invested were borrowed from a bank and the ICO failed. Nobody wants those tokens anymore. So, what should this guy do now, in your opinion?
When we were launching an ICO I spoke to almost all of our investors. Not with all of them but with the majority. My message was simple – you should invest the amount of money you are willing to lose. I kept saying this over and over again. I even refused some of the potential investors. Not many, but still I turned two or three of them down. It was not about ethics. It was not about morality. It was not about reputation.
The thing is that one of my businesses is a detective agency. Thus, I saw many malicious fraud cases. People say a project will be a success and then some force majeure happens. This is when infuriated investors hire detectives to find the fraudsters. We conduct a thorough investigation on the case and see that no one actually intended to cheat at first. It just happened.They just did not calculate their own strength. Did not foresee all the possible outcomes. In fact, willful fraud cases are not as common as single cases of stupidity. But the outcome is always the same – court cases initiated by the investors and jail for the stupid entrepreneur.
Some people wrongly assume that it is possible to flee – there were cases when we had been searching for 2 years but managed to find people in the end. Whatever large amount of investments a person gets, they will lose it in a couple of years if they have no experience of managing such sums. Moreover, they will end up in a much worse situation than they were before.
Knowing all this, I have decided to work only with those investors who were ready to lose money. Even though my thoughts are unlikely to be heard, I highly recommend that all ICOs adopt this policy. We all play a very high-risk game: 9 projects out of 10 fail after collecting money. Different people, including ones like the guy I was talking about, invest into projects; they invest money borrowed from banks. These people are stupid. They are not ready to be investors. The ICO team has to explain that investing is out of their league. Maybe they are just not suited for this.
However, ICOs do not do this. As a result, after crying his eyes out, our guy will get angry and file a report to the police to initiate criminal proceedings against the ICO team. The team will have many unpleasant years ahead.
So maybe it is reasonable to prevent such situations? Maybe saying ‘guys, we can fail’ at the beginning makes perfect sense? ‘Investing credit money in an ICO is a bad idea and this is why we refuse you’?
Nothing useful from a stupid money, all you will get is a prolonged nightmare. I try to hold my emotions to invest only in the crypto world only from 10 percent maximum of my cold money. And I will not be poor if my investment is not as expected, of course I will hodl for a long period of time with no regard for its volatility. |

I feel so late to the party. Coins now are very expensive, like $5800 for Bitcoin and $345 for Ethereum... then $5 - $30 for other coins. I take a look at the blockchain explorers and see big holders of coins, for example some people have 1000+ bitcoin, a lot of people have 500,000+ ethereum. These people got the coins when they were 1 penny each, now I have to pay $500 for the same coin?
Why are the coins so expensive today? Can I go back in time and get them cheaper?
Even if I put in a lot of my money, I only get a fraction of what people were able to get 1 year ago. 1 year ago people got coins for 1 penny and stashed 100,000 coins for $1000, now I have to pay $1000 just for 1 coin?!? I feel so ripped off!
Also I knew about Bitcoin when it was $30, and I knew about Ethereum when it was $7! I was alive in these time periods and was looking online and reading about these things but it all flew by!
Am I too late to the party? Is it a good time to get buy today or should I find a way to time travel back in time?
My frustration is BIG.
It's never too late. But do not expect to gain profit in a short time. Wait at least 3 to 5 years ahead. And intend that you as a collection of antiques. |

I have checked the latest active bounties on bountylord.com and found many of them but only few are rated as 3 or 4 so any of you here working for any of those bounties listed there and found it trusted source of earning stakes/tokens/coins... I want to do the twitter campaign...
Choose only that has a good rating. Then add as much bounty available. Improve the quality of your account, to increase your stakes. |

There are more than 1000 altcoins in the market. What do you think for the most stable altcoins?
I think ethereum is the most stable coin after bitcoin. Most of altcoin trade uses ethereum as its pairing. So in my opinion, Ethereum is the second stabilized coin and is also the most promising for an investment. |

I noticed a just ended bounty campaign and a participant got 80K tokens. I was wondering what h will do with that token. I want to know what happens when bounty hunters gets more or huge tokens during campaigns.
hopefully your token has a good value, so you increase your spirit following the bounty. Immediately sell half or all of your tokens when it touches the highest price. |

I think that crypto is cheap and more likely moon is eos and ontology. Do not hesitate to collect as much as this crypto.

EOS, Pundi X and Docademic. At least those three are my mainstay portfolios. EOS is rumored to be overtaking this year's ethereum with its unique technology. Pundi X has been proven to rise at least 50X from the first time I buy and will continue to rise as the introduction of products to several countries. Docademic is predicted to match the bitcoin movement in the next 5 years according to John McAfee. |

Good Day guys, just searching for an alternative way to invest my money to,
so the question is, is buying new listed token(token that just ended ICO) to an exchange profitable? do many of you do that? would you recommend doing that? or should I buy on their ICOs?
If I say it must be a profit, it is a naive word. You have to multiply at least 20 types of quality ICO so you have a big profit opportunity. |

I still recommend using a hardware wallet over the safety benefits though.

TRON has a bright future. TRON has a marketcap in the top 10 ranking shows as a favorite altcoin. Of course you must diversify your portfolio of at least 20 quality altcoins. |

From my experience i am telling
= First learn everything , where i can learn ? answer is bitcointalk. take time read all the posts in alt coin and bitcoin section. This forum's is the key for a newbie. i also in two years back , learn A-Z from this.
= Learn at least this Technology for 3 months. Study the patterns in each coin , specially potential coins. How i find potential coins, its most coming by experience , at the moment ( QUARK CHAIN,PCHAIN,PHANTASMA,)
=Keep your private things in safe. if you earn billions also worthless if unsecured. Please keep your private Key in top secret Place. Under any circumstances do not give it away. when Airdrop filling please beware of Public key to enter
=Dont go for too much hodl. Some coins have potential only for 3 months , then it goes to hell.
= Try to USE an APP to see your portfolio. be update always. Some are saying invest now and forget 2 years and see. Thats completely wrong.
=Try to maintain a excel sheet to measure the progress. (Profits , Alt coins market Conditions)
=Do not try Day trading if you not confident. if you choose day trading , you will lost everything .. by experience i am telling
