Personally I'm not expecting a pump. I'm hoping that with more exposure by being on the larger exchanges that we will gain more users and musicians for the platform.

There is no point in submitting that form. Poloniex already knows about MUSIC. They will list when ready.
Need to be patient. Put in cold storage and come back in 6 months...
Not necessarily true. Steem did this and it worked. https://steemit.com/steem/@clayop/lets-request-steem-to-poloniexNot trying to be a spammer to them but this is just one avenue we have to make sure our voice is heard. Also we have taken up other directions to make sure that we are known. Regardless and not trying to argue the point, but we are looking forward to when the day comes when we are listed

Listing on PoloniexI'm going to ask the community to assist is getting us listed on Poloniex. We haven't had any responses for weeks and I'm not sure why other than we need more of a community push behind this.

Please only submit this form once. Thank you! What is the name of the coin? Musicoin What is the coin's symbol? @DEVS: why do you have choosen such a high inflation rate?
Please read the white paper and info on the website. If you have further questions about the economics please join the Slack. Thanks! Having read the whitepaper I was wondering if there was a reason why the very simple answer to Donald's question is not on the first post in this thread? It seems you get asked this all the time and having it right out there would do a lot to dispel misunderstandings and FUD as a result of people only being familiar with the Bitcoin monetary model. Any chance you can put a dumbed-down explanation in the first post? Cause right now people are just dumping their musicoins left and right on Bittrex. I can't help but wonder if this is the reason why? Bitcointalk is full of mostly traders, speculators and miners. Make it simple for them. I agree with your synopsis and yes there is more info coming out soon to help with these day to day questions. Please note that in the next few weeks our main spokesperson Brian Byrne will be at the Canadian Music week and we expect to gain more of a public footprint at this time. Trust me there is a lot of housekeeping to a startup such as ours but we are working diligently to make everything user friendly and really appreciate the feedback from the community.

When can we expect a listing at Poloniex?
Poloniex listing has been requested. They list when they want without notification. They look at volume and tech of the coin/platform. We are in a holding pattern like everyone other coin request there.

Thanks, going to join a pool.
Difficulty on etc and eth are insane so going to try this and see how it goes.
Sounds good! May the luck of the pools grant you coins

Is it still possible to solo mine this coin with about 247 mh/s ? The net hash rate and difficulty seems too high ?
It would take a verrrry long time but it's possible. Pools are really the way to go unless you have over 1GH of power at the moment.

Hello, Is possible solo mining? If yes, how ? Thank you
I was wondering the same thing. I hope someone with the requisite knowledge comes along and can answer this question for us! The difficulty seems easy enough to mine solo, if anyone is mining solo, could you please share your stats with me? I want to see if it is worth the time and effort. If i get the same amount of coins in pool mining, then i guess its not worth the effort! Thanks in advance! Hi guys. When I first started mining Musicoin I used this: https://github.com/sammy007/ether-proxyJust use the GMC miner here in place of Geth. https://github.com/Musicoin/go-musicoin/releases

Looking into it. Thanks.
Same here, 0xe4f0c4db1148271ea17cf3e604f592e329313c8a with 800+ in pending Please advise, thanks Don't worry payments have all been sent out except a few small ones that are locked. I'm working to resolve and will report when completed. Thank you, still in pending Can anyone confirm that they really got paid from the pool? Its still showing 0 payments sent out when i just checked it. I haven't received any of my coins i mined yet. Still hoping we didnt get scammed but losing faith in music coin and nomnom pool. It shouldn't take days to sort this out. I haven't received my coins yet. I see your issue. It's the backup pool at musicoin2.nomnom that you are seeing this on not the main one. I'll resolve this as soon as possible. I was operating under the assumption that you were on the main pool with everyone else.

I would direct any Payment questions to @danp in the #Slack Channel. Please DM me once in slack and I can convey this message or even you personally ..
I got in slack and talked with the owner of the nomnom pool. He told me he was on vacation and couldn't sort it out. Thats why im questioning someone getting on here and saying they got paid. Because i have not. Please stop communicating to users that you haven't been paid. I've asked you via Slack several times if you had been but I guess your small payout of 800MC is an emergency. As I stated via Slack PM I'm working to resolve your issue and will report when completed. No further response will be given until its resolved. My vacation is awesome btw. Not sure who you're referring to with 800MC, it must be someone else you haven't paid. You owe me over 2300 and you owe several other users as well im sure you know. Im glad you're having a good vacation but for as long as people arent getting paid and your still promoting the nomnom pool i will inform them its possibly a scam. Like i said in slack and here on the boards, I will correct my post and inform everyone its safe to use NOMNOm pool with music coin once you get it sorted out. Until then its only fair people know you're having problems with payouts and not to use the pool. Well in that case I better get right on it.

Better off solo mining folks. I warned you, when one pool has more than 51% of the hashrate that is not good. Crypto is supposed to be decentralized and trustless and yet miners are asked to trust pools not to be scams when little to nothing is known about the reputation of their owner/operator. The only way to vote is with your feet. Leave for other pools or solo mine if you have enough hashpower. Staying with the status quo of one pool controlling 60% of the hashpower means we'll watch the value of Musicoin steadily decline as scammers and people afraid of them dump their coins. What have right now is: Nomnom controls 60% of the mining power Nomnom also controls the network stats page here: http://nodestats.nomnom.technologyNomnom is anonymous What could go wrong? When you mining on nomnom pool you are donating MUSIC to dev, because the fee that pool taking from you is going to the devs for platform updates and developments. The owner of nomnom pool is pcmode. You can ask him anything in Musicoin slack. I mine solo. Who is pcmode is the question that needs to be answered. I don't trust pools where the owner/operator's real name is not known. Its easy to steal when you're anonymous. You must be VERY new to bitcoin. Most if not all pool operators are anonymous and there is nothing wrong with that. Please come chat with me in Slack if you have an issue with the pool or payouts. The pool payout locks up once in a great while. I've never taken anything from anyone and accusations that I have are erroneous and baseless. Please use some patientlce while I dig through the database to find your payouts. It may take me a few to resolve but I will make sure it happens. Best, Jared aka Pcmode

when MUSICOIN will go to poloniex?
As soon as we have more volume on the current exchanges. I've already submitted a while ago but will check in with them again after we land on the moon and head to Mars.

Music is a great potential usecase for crypto. Does this project have partners in the music industry like Tao (XTO) does, or is it still at an early sort of theoretical stage?
Does it address the needs of the other parts of the existing music industry like the record labels and producers? Will it allow for the purchase of a song or album, concert ticket, etc. that can be transferred to someone else as a gift or reselling? Will it work with existing musician tools like Protools or FL Studio (Fruityloops)?
Is it using the blockchain to cryptographically help enforce copyright, or is it mainly acting as a token for paying artists like the older Popularcoin or ArtByte coins?
Just a few things I was wondering after reading your whitepaper. Thanks!
Come join the Slack for answers from the Devs. Way more info there than the forums.
