This pool is rarely mining the most profitable coins.
In fact it seems to be perpetually mining the least profitable for both Scrypt and SCrypt-N
been mining SPA for ages now (very low on profitability list), and EXE has been on top for hours. It wont switch
Also seem to be mining CSC and 42 when they are at the bottom of the list.
It seems my observations may point to some shady business, or an inverted profitability algorithm!
It would also seem that this is not a concern for merc82, which would seem odd, considering the fact that the more profit we make, the more he makes. Unless he is diverting hash power to other coins, and making a profit that way.
I am sure merc82 is not willing to loose all the potential fees by mining the lowest profitability coins.
Be wary new users, i think something funny is going on here.
I hope to get some clarification, profitability aside, i do like this pool, and the Scrypt-N Switch
I can't speak for Scrypt or Scrypt-N since I'm only doing the X11 pool right now. On other profit switching pools I was making about .015 per day with Scrypt, the X11 pool here seems to be on target because I'm getting about the same results (with less heat and power). Granted I'm small potatoes with only 15MH/s to bring to bear in X11, but cause of that I tend to look hard at profit margins cause it just doesn't come rolling in.

It sucks because at launch I already had 1 rig on suprnova,(it was paying) and I made a split second decision to put all my rigs to omargpools. That quick decision probably cost me several thousand coins. Oh well. Live and learn.
I feel ya I don't have much in the way myself.. cause I'm already late to the GPU game. The most I can get is 15MH/s with the hardware in my house (X11 of-course). I'm just glad my GPU's are not junk yet, so not all bad. all said and done, I got 200 coins

And we're live! Come hop in the pool! DID THIS POOL WORK FOR ANYONE?? WHERE DID ALL THE COINS THAT IT MINED SINCE LAUNCH GO???We didn't find a block. The shares are only showing the amount of work done. By the time the pool started mining difficulty was at 200+ and rising quickly. The pool reached approximately 200Mhash before miners gave up trying to chase the high difficulty. If you have any more questions let me know I saw what looked like your handle second on list, I'm sure your just upset as the next guy. 3-4 hours of mining from 40-100 cards at difficulty of 200-300 and not a single block??? No way. You sure nothing was setup improperly where all the hashing was wasted? Just doesn't seem plausable especially with 150-200mh/s working. The odds of not finding a block have to be extremely, extremely low as in not due to chance. The pool I was on ( http://west.v2.dedicatedpool.com/index.php?page=dashboard) had 8,000MH/s << notice the comma.. 200 was a small % of the action which was going on. Even right now they are 10% of the pool, though I moved over to TradeMyBit cause I personally like profit switching X11 and they have west now too at 9.88G.

I suck at reading sarcasm and have a harder time spelling it, thank goodness for spell-check.
Least it's another X11 coin which is mine'able. Least for now, POS coming soon.

Just noticed they added wildwest coin to the X11

Maybe I missed something but isn't only ~ 50k premined?
Which would be 50000 * .0005 (current market value) = 2.5 btc ?
I think there are people within the first hour which obtained a lot.

why this coin is so popular?
Dunno, my 3 reasons.. 1) X11 2) Other coins just so saturated 3) Bah Bah West

This is what I'm getting: and then it eventually exits It all looks right, maybe it's a worker/account issue. maybe just as a test try sgminer -k darkcoin -o stratum+tcp://east01.us.trademybit.com:4440 -u dmpotter.test -p x -X 4

Super neat to find an x11 multipool, hopefully I can get it working right. Seems to be unable to find any work from the pool when I try and run sgminer...
It takes a little to start up, so you can compare command lines this is what I'm using. sgminer -k darkcoin -o stratum+tcp://east01.us.trademybit.com:4440 -u user.worker -p x -X 4

i rebooted and the wallet no longer gives errors.
Same crap as the Silkcoin wallet. Is it really that hard to make sure the wallet is working BEFORE announcing the coin? I don't see what the rush is to launch with a half-ass working wallet. If your wallet keeps crashing with a runtime error, try this: -Press the WIN+R keys -Type the path below in the dialog box and hit OK: C:\ProgramData\boost_interprocess -Delete all the folders located in that directory -Start the wallet again It should start without crashing and you no longer need to restart the whole system for it to work. Great Information tagging for future reference, TY!

Is anyone mining X11? It seemed to have stopped working for me.
I just started today, I show 15.85MH/s, but don't see anything in statistics, all 0's or NA.. This is the commandline I'm using: sgminer -k darkcoin -o stratum+tcp://east01.us.trademybit.com:4440 -u xxx.x -p x -X 4 I see it accepting work and diff changing, but don't seem to be getting any credit. EDIT: Took a while, but now I see credit.

I feel I will have to be a convert. Longer card life, less power.. Asic going scrypt.. Seems like I maybe late, but better than never.

I thought there was something wrong with my system.. Kept getting 1.4## in the column reporting hash per seconds.. Kept downloading different things and trying different settings... then I just saw the M instead of a K.. holly cow, X11 looks fun.

No sure who's trying to mess up my auction but I can confirm that the 5 Antminer S1 are still up for sale! 30 Min left! Will finalise the transaction with the winner only with a reputable ESCROW such as btcrow 5 or 10, you're confusing people....
