41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Darknet DNET Masternode VPS support MP-Hosting on: April 28, 2016, 10:27:56 AM
Hi Guys / Gals

Just like to say to you all thanks for the support  you have given MP-Hosting by hosting your Masternodes  with me.

Now im not going anywhere  or closing anything down LOL

But i have been going over the costs  etc and i need some feedback form you all about the price of the masternodes.

At the moment 1 change $2.5 for the first month and that includes a setup fee of $1

What i need to know is what would you say is a fair price for this service per month

$2.5
$5
$7.5
$10

per month per masternode there wont be a setup change  anymore

a lot of this is down to the 40% price increase  for the hosting

so its down to you guys / gals what im going to charge  for hosting.

Please  as always be total honest its the best way
I have always be 100% honest with you so please be the same to me good or bad.

thanks
Paul

Hi Paul,
I think $2.5 is fair with current prices as if its too close to current price you can earn it will put a lot of people off.
Obvious appreciate you cant run at a loss on our behalf Smiley
DNET price really took a hit lately so hopefully it will start to rise again now.

The specifications sound good. Is there an estimate on pricing yet?

Yep, that's the most important matter missing here  Wink

definitely!

Guys im having problems with my Masternodes i have set up in the QT.

I have 3 nodes running in my wallet, all start successfully but after an hour or two only the first node is running...

masternode list-conf:

xx
"status" : "ENABLED"

xx
"status" : "MISSING"

xx
"status" : "MISSING"

Any ideas?

Can i run the nodes outside of the QT wallet?
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DARKNET [DNET] QRK ALGO - PoW/PoS on: March 03, 2016, 11:27:45 AM
Type "masternode list-conf" in console.

"status" : "ENABLED"
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DARKNET [DNET] QRK ALGO - PoW/PoS on: March 03, 2016, 11:16:32 AM
After starting them for the first time, it could take 12 to 24 hours for first payments to come through.
Then it'll be more frequent and at a more steady rate depending on how many MN you have running.

Ok cool, i have 3 up so hopefully will see something nice soon Smiley

i last question...

Number of connections 8 (In: 0 / Out: 8 )

Does this indicate my port closed for incoming? Or is this because they are new nodes?

lo guys,
i have set up 3 masternodes, "overall" : "Successfully started 3 masternodes, failed to start 0, total 3",

Im not seeing any rewards from running them though. How can i test they are working ok?
How often to rewards come in on average?

So do we still stake for coins after week 6?
Still new to POS coins lol... learning Smiley

i don't think so

So where do the new coins come from? And who processes the transactions?

Hey man,

When you find a new block your 500 chunks automatically splits in half and then becomes 2 chunks. they will keep on splitting every time a chunk finds a block. The lower the chunk the harder it is to find a block.

LP

Thanks LordPiccolo.

ok so should i keep putting them back into 500 or 250 size chunks?
I know this would mean 8 hours downtime to mature again... or just leave?

Wish there was a way of viewing unmature coins vs mature...

I'm also noticing some of my blocks are now 250 blocks... and i also have 125 blocks (i only made 500 blocks)

Is this the stystem automatically splitting into smaller chunks for me? So should i just leave it or redo?

arggg... new things... Cheesy

Yes double the chances is correct. You'll have more lotto tickets in the circ reward lottery.

Righto... back to it then Smiley
So 250 is the low limit then, picking this up slowly but surely Smiley

Yeah you did ok. You could have split them in chunks of closer to 250 coins but that's all good. Its normal that after one of your chunks of 500 coins find a block that they wont be available to find another for a while but looking at your screenshot everything looks good. Luck is also a factor here so try and remember that.

Thanks for the reply neordicICE  Grin
Is there a benefit to 250 coins vs 500? double the chance? Happy to split again if needs be.

Hi guys,
im new to POS coins lol... so go easy on me Cheesy

I have 7.9k ish of CIRC. I split the coins into 500 chunks and let them mature.
They started to mine/stake last night but this morning kinda stopped... Nothing for almost 4 hours even though it says it should be 2 hours on the lightning rollover text. Is this just the usual luck of mining or is there a limit to how much each can earn in a certain time?

I have uopgraded the wallet to 1.1

Any info would be great as i said im kinda new to POS but more than willing to learn Cheesy

but the auction page leaves me a bit confused

It's to offer a safe way to sell on shares and get the best price for them.

you need to add, coins stuck at bitstamp  Wink

bitstamp is BTC to FIAT... how does that affect LTCGear?
not applicable.
